For Saturday the key is not to change the shape of the team, it has served us well, Watford do pass well and we need a 5 in midfield to off-set them.when we did change it against Brentford it just didn't work. Watford do try and play but they can be beat if you press them high and with numbers, otherwise they will pick us off with just 4 in midfield for sure.
You could try Antenucci as a lone forward, yes he does not have morison's height/strength or work ethic for sure, but he is a little quicker (not much) and can score (which helps), I think he is a better option than sharp in that role.
My midfield would be the same if Bryam OK, Sloth is very average so drop him. I'm not impressed with Adryan so he is a bench man only at best.
For me Watford are there to be beat with a high tempo pressing game, high work rate and if we do that no reason why we can't win.

I think we drop back to far it allows teams to stroll into our half back four should push up then midfield closer to back four and can attack quicker this closes them down no room to pass

Couple of fresh legs to change it up as Steve morison looks knackered and needs resting Sharpy will score the goals if and only if Byram and Mowatt play to his obvious strengths and get to the byline and whip the crosses in for him, I would see how Mowatt does in that role if not happening then I would bring Walters on for last 30 minutes to rip it up on the left wing,
It's going to be a hard game but with this line up I say attack em!!

The problem with the current tactical formation (which has served us well over the last 7 games) is that we don't have the personnel to play the lone striker role beyond Morison. Sharp is a fox in the box but offers very little in regards to hold up play due to his lack of mobility and is fairly small in stature. The closest replacement we have for Morison would be Cani however he is an unknown quantity. Doukara could be ideal but I question his work ethic, position sense and ball control. Introducing Sharp or Antenucci would require the team to play with 2 up front which I would not recommend against a passing side (Watford)

Ok I agree that it's pointless getting new loanees in. We are pretty much safe and nothing to play for. Hope we don't get to 50 and give up though!
We will need to lose 2-3 strikers in close season and bring in 2 good ones and a quickee. That's all we need. Oh. One more thing!
I think reddders is pretty much stumbling on winning tactics and was lucky Morrison lasted 7 games or we'd lost sooner. He has no plan b. No idea about bench and what subs to use and no contacts. So

How do you know he has no contacts? He has been in the English game over 30 years, so i'd imagine he has picked up the odd contact by now. And how has he no idea about the bench? Just because he doesn't make wholesale changes after 60 mins, does not mean he that he hasn't got a clue!

Thompson not good enough and Dawson is the only possibility as Bianchi, NGoyi and Benedicic are all injured along with Aiden White. Who should be on the bench then?

Phillips just back from long term injury. Montenegro he don't seem to rate and Dawson, like Adryan, seems to be a luxury player.
