Got a good feeling in my water about tomorrow at the city ground.
Forest although scoring 6 have let in 10 goals in 4 games. I think that Wood and Ant are beginning to click and form a beautiful relationship.

Lucas me old mucka, you always have some good selections but try too many. Last week I was quite content with the 7/ 2 for us to beat the Wendies and 20 sovs made me another 70 profit. I know one day yours might come in and fair play if it does but sometimes stick to smaller beys for regular profits. What do I know though, I've only beat the bookies once in two years 😂

MM, I like to go for the big but not very often wins. You sound like my father in law, winning little and often. My last big win was in the early rounds of the fa cup when I did bradford to beat chelsea, midds to beat citeh and palace to beat some who I can't remember in a trixie, came out with about £3k. That paid for Mrs Lucas' hair doing.

Oh dear, Eddie Gray, my all time favourite LUFC player. I fear the onset of Alzheimer's. It just shows to me there is a lot of truth in the rumour that most footballers are thick!
I can't even remember who won the League Cup last season!
Been away for a while (out of the loop a bit) but kept up with the results. There seems to be a lot of optimism on here for the current squad.
The only game I've seen this season was the QPR one, when we were dire.
Don't get me wrong my favourite win every season is against Wednesday, (especially away! ) but is it only this performance that all the optimism is based on, or is there a definite improvement from last season?

qpr was dire indeed from 1st minute to last, brum 1st half was quite good, 2nd half very poor, didn't see Fulham but apparently we kept plugging away, wendies we were superb, the team/ squad is new to each other and still gelling but I do feel we are going to improve more as season goes on. there will obviously be set backs but imo ther's definite improvement. long may the feel good factor remain MOT.

Like the sound of that wexster. You'll recall Mawson was one of my recommendations. Get him and whatever defensive pairing we line up with we are going to be solid and too good for the division. Mawson likes to wade in with a few goals too.
