Use our rumours form to send us leeds transfer rumours.

Leeds have money to spend on players. But with bates £15,000 a week wage budget means a transfer budget is useless. Why don't we lower the transfer budget for a higher wage structure with 1year contracts with option of more years depending on were we finish so then we are not loseing out on money with short contracts.

I guess a relegation battle is more interesting than mid-table mediocrity LOL

We seemed to have scored 16 goals in the league this season?
Unfortunately we have also let 15 in, so I think it's pretty obvious we need something strengthening in defence?
Not rocket science, Grayson?

McCormack will score 25-30 goals this season if he stays injury free. I told all of you to back him to be championship top goalscorer. Mind we will need him and others to do the same, with a defence like ours. LARRY sort it out or go!!!

Really like Ross and think if we put becchio upfront with him there will be goals galore, like you say though it's the defence that's the worry but hopefully a few shrewd loan deals with a view to perm like Pugh can give us stability at the back. I also still think that one of the main issues is that we've had to keep revolving the back 4 - if we can get a stable back 4 who are half decent and get them playing 5-10 games together it may sort it out a bit - the constant changes can't be helping at all as there doesn't seem to be that communication and anticipation you see from a settled defence

Still scratchin my head at how our defence, Bromby in particular, folded yet again in the second half on Friday night.
I dont think anyone who's played in our back 4
this season has done a decent job yet! I know Lee's has his fans as he is young & from Leeds but he's clearly not a full back & should be given the chance to play at centre half, after all, he cant do much worse than the others so far!
I still believe we can do well this season if we tighten up at the back. Attack wise we have plenty of options although I wish Snodgrass had left in the summer instead of Gradel as i get the impression he cant be arsed.
Wot ever the rest of the season brings i'm pretty sure it'll be entertaining & I for one plan to enjoy it

4 very winable games there then 4 tough games so i think we need to get 12 points out of the first 4 and see what we can get from the second four if we want to be up there! MOT

i think sg has had more than enough time to sort the defense think its time for him to go or at least bring in a new defensive coach v mu an Brighton we where shocking at the back so come on guys lets hear your views

Our centre backs are shocking. SG or the coaching staff can do nothing when Bromby gives away a pen, watches the striker float in for the 1st n then allow the same striker to get in front of him for the 3rd. Need a quick Right back n Lees in the middle plus another Center back who reads the game and is good in the air.
