I thought we did alright last night. Held our own for most of the game with a B side. Who gives a flick about the Worthington Cup?

Just watched game and my two penny worth I don't like losing. I hate losing. To anybody. Maybe. Barca. Real. Psg. Man city. Exception. Leicester were better because. Their goalkeeper could distribute. Their defenders could too. Their midfielders never passed back and their movement off ball was superior and accuracy better. However. We played well. I was impressed in general. A few points to make. Play viera every game ffs. The very good. Hern and roofe The tried well. Grot. Anita. Ayling. Shaun Phillips The out of their league. Cibicki. Klich The bad. Jannson Sacko. The ****ing atrocious. Wield. Never let that man wear a leeds shirt again.

Maybe because there players cost 5 times plus what ours do aus. You do forget they was premier league camps not long ago

Agreed Martyn these are the ridiculous statements that I referred to earlier out of their league of course they are against players valued at 50+ million. Premier league top scorers and champions league players some of which targets for huge clubs. What do you want from these players our lads are doing their best support them.

I get that wex and martyn but champ teams do beat prem league teams. We played well in general but the class did show. It also showed who will struggle to step up a league. I think phillips. Ayling. Roofe. Anita. Hern all showed prem ability last night.

Champ teams do beat Prem teams on their day but it wasn’t to be. We already beat a Prem team in the previous round and being away from home doesn’t help.

Just be happy they've a good account of themselves and didn't roll over. As for the ones slanging weidweild off Ill put my house on that the Huddersfield bench warmer wouldn't have got close to saving any of there goals either

Like everyone, I have my own thoughts on Felix. He had a fairly decent run early on, but they were games in which we were well on top for the most part, and as a sweeper keeper he's probably our best option. He rushes out a lot and reminds me of Bravo at Man City to an extent. I think that was the thinking behind the recruitment. With the players we brought in, the management obviously believed we'd dominate a lit of games, and a sweeper keeper would be the best option. Lonergan is obviously the better shot stopper, and therefore in games where teams will come at us, he is the best option to start. I think confidence breeds through the team if we dominate a match, so the defence won't be worried about the goalkeeper, but in games where we're likely to be on the back foot, I'd rather Lonergan be in there to keep the defence more relaxed. Oh and just a word on Grot, the first half was decent from him last night, and his touch was good. Second half, he just stopped running, and didn't hold the ball up when it was to feet either. He'll improve though, where as Felix 'Is what he is'.

I don't think any of us fans enjoy being negative about Felix. I like the rest of Leeds fans looked forward with excitement that we had sign a big German keeper (going on the quality of most top flight German keepers) . But he is just not up to the standard of keeper needed in the championship. How I wish this was not true, but we need to let him go and buy a quality keeper in the next transfer market, we can't just hope he will improve because sadly I don't think he will.

Funny how the likes of Ian dowie and Leicester city manager can praise our teams performance. But the leeds fans here can only seem to criticize. Every pundit out there claims Leeds United in with a big shout of return to premiership but for posters here it's not good enough and save thier criticism for the young players in our team.

Bang right wex. we are moving in the right direction bit by bit, and the real people "in the know" can see that, but in here, and other forums, there's far too much negativity. 👍🏻🍻

Just read the posts below and have to agree wex. Thought Grot played well first half against a premiership defence. Cibbicki not so well but out of position so can you really judge him on that game.

Unfortunately there's no middle ground for some of our fans, they're either the greatest player ever or not good enough. Leicester's team had Champions League players in it and cost over £100m. Thought had we a good go of it and we were missing most of our key players.

I agree I thought that grot was good in the first half and then Harry McGuire was told to man mark him which took him out the game, some seem to forget Leicester won the prem 2 seasons ago and are still a very good outfit with some very good players! Take away the late mahrez goal which was just him showing his class and the score of 2-1 against a good premiership outfit isn't bad at all. The only negative I have an will stand by is that the keep felix is an absolute liability, he has no attributes that help the team or the defence in front of him and we need confidence from the back, lonergan in and a new keeper in January. Other than that I think get behind the team as they all have more good days than bad days

I thought Grot played ok first half. Cibiki was totally anonymous. Having said that he's only played against Premier League defences, maybe if he'd played against Burton he might have scored a hat trick. Felix, oh dear, I wouldn't have him as a ball boy. What worries me is what happens if Lonners gets injured. 😱 I've got a feeling we'll be looking for a new keeper in January?

YP slating Weildwald. Pretty much disected his performance. I cannot see him getting a game for some time. Lonergan would have a few shockers to get dropped at moment. Very mixed views on Grot from everyone. Not having seen it, I feel unable to get a feel for him. How was Pontus?

Didn't go last night so don't really have my own opinion but judging by the majority of comments on here, Felix was more Bagpuss than Top Cat! Sorry toryscum and Aus, you were both right and I was wrong. On a plus note, we made 10 changes to the team that played Bristol City, more than Leicester made even, so onwards an upwards and let's concentrate on the bigger prize! MM

Felix's confidence is obviously shot. A mistake, then lambasted by his own supporters ain't going to help either. He's going to need some time in the background, and some serious coaching to get up to speed. Let's hope Lonners doesn't pick up an injury!

MM, no need to apologise to me mate. Over time I am confident that I will be wrong many more times than you and i wish you had been right. It would be better for us if he had turned out to be an asset. Anyhow, we all seem to be in agreement on one point, overall very positive outlook. Bring on Sheffield. Onwards n upwards.
