Just got back having been away a few days. the £2m Kenny boy got was from the Compass group[Levy restaurants] who took over the Stadium catering from 1st of October on a five year contract. The deal is a profit share one and Compass had to cough money up front to win it. Paid for Pearce, Drury, Gray and paid off some deadwood as well as the final payment for Pugh. Compass agreed because they were informed by GFH that they would be in charge before the end of the year. That looks a bit flakey now as one of the consortium of investors fronted by GFH, from Kuwait has got bored and gone elsewhere. GFH are now trying to fill the gap by finding someone new of persuading the others to chip in..........watch this space

Just wondering, on Tuesday after the match warnock said Austin is going for a scan on his ankle. Does anyone know what the result was? Will he be playing on Saturday? Hope so he's one of best!

i think we should get diouf to sign a new contract and then sell him to a team in dubai with loads of money! an please warnock can you sign jerome or jones but as pulis said jones is not going anywhere we can forget about that one. we neeeedd atleast one more player, does the emergency loan stop or is it all season? {Ed013's Note - Sell Diouf? Emergency loan goes until the end of November, then the January transfer window and then the emergency loan window opens again

Still no takeover news after more than 5 months , please let it still happen as we need to bring in more players for games coming up , midfield and forward , Cameron jerome would be a great start not played all season

Somebody may have already answered this, although who knows what to believe. With the current shroud of secrecy that has been looming over our great club for not only the entirety of the longest takeover ever, but the greatest proportion of the bates era. I digress, a simple question to all Leeds United supporters. As we know (said with extreme predujice) GFH pumped 2 mill into the club for transfers. We spent that on Pearce,Kenny,Rudy,Pelts ect. We then sell Snods for 3.5. We then cry poverty and have no money for investment in the team. Erm have I missed something? May not have necessarily happened in that precise order but where has the money from Snods gone?
Where has the money gone from lonergan and clayton also we need answers asap

not sure that we got it all upfront. There was even a rumour that Leeds borrowed against the remainder owed to pay some debts.
D'oh. we have hocked the future. when the eason ticket revenue halved the Snoddy money [the bit we got] had to go. we talk about not being in debt but a la Ridsdale we have 'mortgaged' against future revenue and that is drying up
The investors are standing back because Mr Pastry will have to lower his sights or risk ruin........just as he did at Chelsea until a mad Russian with more money than sense wanted a legitimate shild to avoid Putins bullets [or poisen brolly to be exact!]
Also, what has happened to the 2.5 million from Compass catering ? they paid for catering rights for 3 years. That means no matter how many pies we scoff or pints we down the club get nothing.
The £2 million given to Ken Bates is part of the £52 million sale price, why would Bates invest it in Leeds United in anyway, that money is in Bates pocket.

interesting article in the 'current bun' yesterday, indicating that the 'prospective new owners' have already ploughed in 2 mil during the summer, and that GFH hope to have the buyout sealed by the end of this month.
not my words folks, just what it says in the paper.

Still could be wrong but two months ago I said the takeover would be done by 31st October. That's when a lot of businesses publish half year accounts. JD
