I really wish people would write believeable rumours on here. Some of them my 5yr old daughter could come up with and thats before she's had story time. Before you all start saying it's a rumour or banter site. I KNOW THAT!
What it isn't is a what a load of bo==ocks site. Half of the people look for a name thats unattached or in the paper that day and think. WOW! i could be the first to say he's coming, he's coming.
I wouldn't mind but not one person has a real source or contact. Half of them would see Elvis before seeing a real target. I totaly love this site and all the banter on it. Just want people to stick to whats real and whats jackanory.
I'm just as frustrated as you lads and wish the club would stop playing hide and seek, with the most loyal fans in the world. We deserve better than what are waste of space chairman delivers for us.
He should know we are Leeds and we'll never be mastered, by you,by you cockney ba==ard.

Yes sir I completely agree, yes its true that this is only a rumour/banter site but seriously some of the carp people post sometimes is just a load of garbage! At least make the rumours believable people!

Just heard on titter that we have been bought for £62million.....now sure who yet but it hasn't gone to press yet and this is from a reserve player at lufc.....thought id share it with u guys

If the Lizard of Oz returns to England he certainly won't be slithering back into a Leeds shirt.
Hope he joins another championship team though so that we can give him a reception @ ER that he well & truly deserves.

I too have feelings about the guy joining the Turks! However, as many fickle fans do they forget what benefit Leeds United had from him. He was part of a great Leeds side. He left once things fell apart and I don't blame him for that. Let sleeping dogs lie and concentrate on who plays for Leeds United now. It only serves to wind players up to play well at Elland Road and my word theres been an awful lot of players on opposing sides playing well at ER over the last 2 years!!

ed call me stupid if this sounds stupid, i understand warnock is away for a week hol but if takeover has happened/is happening can he not leave his list of targets for shaun harvey or whoever to tie deals up?

Well... This Sunday is the 1st July (the date when everyone is expecting big things to happen)

I just hope it's not a big let down after all this waiting.

Would be nice to hear some positive news on the investment/takeover front and also a few more signings on free transfers.

I am expecting a quiet week this week and not a lot of info coming out of Elland Road.

it's going to be the longest week ever known.. 9:36am on Monday morning and I have already been searching all the social networks and papers looking for any news/rumours

players like him and maybe even Alan Smith, there are so many people who would hate to see them back that Warnock would not take the gamble of having bad atmosphere at our club, I personally don't think either of them would make us a better team anyway... too old and no where near as good as they were the last time they wore the famouse Leeds shirt.

I would not utter Alan Smiths name in the same breath as HK .
Smithy did everything he could for this club when here and also when leaving. To me he is a Leeds legend and cannot should not be compared to HK

Hold on a second in regards to saying Kewell's name shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Smith cos Smith did everything for Leeds. May I remind you Smith left his boyhood team he supported all his life to go the scum while Kewell left Leeds (the team where he learned his trade) to sign for the team he supported all his life so don't have the cheek to make a comment like that regardless of him signing for Galatasay. Just look at the situation with Celtic and Rangers over the years unfortunately a lot of deaths have been caused due to their rivalry which is a lot more than us and Galatasary yet plenty of players have left one side for the other. Try to take the blinkers of and be a little bit more open minded to the bigger picture.

Bremner,Charlton,Hunter,Clarke,Reaney,Giles,Charles etc,THEY were legends,how the hell can you compare Smith to them.

Alan Smith will NEVER go down as a Leeds legend, he left the club he loved for the club all genuine Leeds fans hate... I remember once reading a match programme from the days he was at Leeds and he was asked questions.. one of them being "if you weren't playing for Leeds which club could you see yourself at?" his answer was I couldn't answer that question as I love Leeds too much but what I can say is I would never wear the red of M*nchester Utd... Well done Alan first chance you get of leaving Leeds - where do you go?? All I can say is in my eyes John Arne Riise is a legend... just a shame the ball only hit his leg and not his neck!!

Alan Smith left Leeds because we were skint and desperate to sell. The only club that offered cash was Man U. Put the 2 together and that is why he ended up at Man U. Plus, why wouldn't he go. Premiership football and Champions league with Man u or Division 1 football at a club with no money and on the slide. Its not rocket science!
