Hope Roofe will be offloaded in January. He can't be praising Rooney like that. To quote Del Boy 'What a Plonker'.

He ought to be more concerned with his own goal tally for the season. Maybe a lesson for him is that if Waynetta is his hero, shame his goals for the season are zero.

I think he was credited with one George, unless the dubious goal panel thingy took it away from him .

Just as an additional note. Looking at the fixtures, injuries and suspensions and our normal performances in the run up to Christmas I think we will have 31 points by New years day 2017-hopefully. Squads a bit thin- in numbers that is.

Rotherham away is a difficult game to call. We rarely keep a clean sheet when Cooper plays and Rotherham always up their game when Leeds are in town. I think we will have to score at least two to win. With Hernandez not playing we have an issue where creativity is concerned. Phillips is not that kind of player, Mowatt is definitely not at his best, Vierra plays well but very much in the engine room. If Dallas plays he will work hard but will create only a little in the way of chances. Roofe is improving all the time but he is not at his creative best by a long way. Wood has been scoring but chances have been few and far between. Although Rotherham have been poor I think a goal either way will win it. I'm hoping for a 2-1 win for Leeds but my head says a draw is the more likely.

Vierra and Phillips are still young and learning against Newcastle it showed, with the injuries and Rob green well! When you take in to account Erwin and Bottom out on loan meant to be first team but never will be . But we can play some good football losing by two to Newcastle no shame there .

Hernandez not being there is a problem. Until his return we are vulnerable to not putting the ball in the net. With AV and Brighton on the horizon we need to keep the points coming. This is now a vital time for our season's aspirations.

Not sure if this has been brought up before but, if we are up in the playoffs come the new year then we should spend BIG on a striker like the smoggies did on Jordan Rhodes! He won then some vital games and without him they might not have gone up!

Agree Jay but January is always a difficult time to get the quality you need at the right price. Any realistic names? Maybe we should do this on Black Friday and if you buy through Quidco we could get cashback too, ) )

I would like Gray from Burnley, he would be great in the champ as he's not doing so well in the prem.

Gray yes. Rhodes no
Gonna stick my head on the line here by saying. Top 2 is poss. Ok Brighton look good for it but apart from them. No other team looking as solid as us ATM. Long way to go but. I think we all think we can get in playoffs. So why not amass 1-5 more points and go up. Sorted.

That was my first thought as well Martyn but that guy knows where the goal is and has kept himself well over the years bringing him on for last 30 minutes will make any defence think twice.

Gray would be fantastic but never going to happen. More realistic could be crouch or walters. Both would score at this level I'm sure . I would say Assombalonga but as George has pointed out would be far too expensive as he's on a five year deal. However you never know. If approached, the player himself may want to come .
