Maybe now is the time for Monty Gimpel...... bring out the Gimp!!!

Believable10 Unbelievable1

Grayson won't play the Pimpel - he doesn't see youth as the way forward unless totally forced to play em due to lack of cover - White Taylor Lees Gimpel could all play the back four for years to come

Agree4 Disagree1

Lees, Clayton, White, Parker, Howson as captain - Grayson's invested a lot of trust in youth. WTF are you on about?

Agree0 Disagree1

Read the text person it says unless forced too otherwise Clayton and Lees would have been playing last year than been on loan..! - you don't become class playing for 2nd rate first division clubs and then become the best players in our first 11: White Lees Clayton - if Grayson grew some balls he would have bled them into the first team earlier

Agree1 Disagree0

Sorry pal you do become a class player by being loaned out to lower league clubs FACT! beckham, ferdinand, neville, defoe looks like it worked for lees and clayton am sure theres loads off class footballers whom have gone the lower league route mot

I am disappointed to see Alex Bruce go to Huddersfield on loan. Firstly, it means we now have only O'Dea, Lees, Kisa and Bromby left as CB's ( minus OB). Don't fancy seeing Bromby in the team any time soon. Bruce is a better defender than O'Dea, Bromby, and probably even Kis now after the injury. There may be a good reason why he hasn't featured this year, something with SG, but ideally he should have been given his chance at some stage. A decent championship player and combative defender. Although hopefully we will be bringing a CB in in Jan.

Lets try a positive view on Bruce going on loan......

I'm sure we'll have written a recall clause into any loan deal so we are getting him some good competitive match practice.

Think back to how some of our either loan deals improved players performance.

He's gettingtime on the pitch at the end of the day

Agree3 Disagree0

Thats true, I hadn't thought of it like that, guess our right, will get him match sharp etc. Just hope that if he proves his worth while on loan he gets a chance on his return.

Agree2 Disagree0

To me Bruce is a decent player and if sending him out on loan keeps him fit and comes back a better player , then good luck to him.

Gotta be a CB coming in on loan with Bruce gone and O'Brien persona non grata. Kisnborbo (too slow), Lees, O'Dea (very average) and Bromby (also very average) - maybe Gimpel will get a look in?

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Wrong about O'Dea being average. He's better than that, not by too much but still better than that. I would rate him as one of the better Championship defenders.

Did anyone else notice, on the OS story re:Signing Maik Taylor, that Paul Rachubka played midweek behind-closed-doors, and kept a clean sheet...against Blackpool?? I was positive it was just a fragment of my imagination, but it is there, honestly!!

Believable1 Unbelievable1

It's there. Called irony. He's still awful.

Agree3 Disagree0

'behind closed doors' where he should play all his football

emergency loan deadline, we have brought in.....................a keeper. we need a right back and centre mid to back up howson and clayton. i honestly cannot see any new rb as from what i can see sg has faith in connolly which is stupid as he is a poor defender and on a whole a poor player

Believable4 Unbelievable2

We are a laughing stock, we can't even get anybody in on Loan, Grayson is blind, we NEED a RB urgently and a Midfielder as howson is not doing enough to be in my team

Agree2 Disagree7

Connolly is not a poor player just a poor player against decent Championship teams and decent Championship wingers. He is still Championship material, just rather average and too average for Leeds United. We require better.

Agree1 Disagree4

Here we go again - the moaners are back!!

Agree5 Disagree0

Think theres a limit on the amount of loan players you can have in your squad, this would explain sg s lack of dealings ,wait for jan transfer window ?

Agree2 Disagree1

Connolly certainly not star quality but I think since he's been back snoddy has improved greatly. That link up play is important between the winger and full back.

Agree5 Disagree1

Maybe but I think snodders could of just regained a bit of fitness.. I personally think connolly is poor n we require more quality rb..

Agree2 Disagree1

Last i checked we were 5th in the league and you are STILL moaning, come on mate get behind the team

Agree1 Disagree0

Graysons blind? signed lonergan, gradel, mccormack, clayton, hes helped lees, white break into the first team getting them first team football, keoghs a good player, ok some of his other signings havent been the best but this is football and thats how it works, look at the good hes brought to the club instead of moaning as per usual

Pappa smurf on Obrien "this is a delicate situation" I wonder if KB will use his usual tact and diplomacy. Maybe time for more embarrassment for our club...
Pele.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

What tact and diplomacy! ;)

Agree0 Disagree0

It would be extremely embarassing if we let him go to West Ham (which is obviously what he wants?) or any other championship club that could stand between us and promotion??

Why don't we just sell him to a lower division club, with a proviso he couldn't be sold or loaned back to a championship club?

That would surely upset his plans too??
