We need to stop the negativity around the new owners, they are an investment bank and were always looking to sell some of the club to a partner with more money, so far they have done a good job in the circumstances, cleared out some of the squad players, pumped money into the club, bought better players than we had before, the squad is looking leaner and with the addition of 3-4 quality players we have a chance next season.

reduced season ticket prices and trying new initiatives, and to top it all got rid of ken bates who had sold everything to pay for the upgrades to the stadium that were not needed, including banqueting, forward season ticket sales etc, have faith and a new investment partner will be along soon.

If we have better players how come we are in a worse league position with -5 goal difference, people are negative for good reason

The negativity shouldn't be towards gfh as Bates caused the mess.

". stop the negativity around the new owners. "

If they can't get basic key corporate communications correct and consistent concerning their strategy*, what's the chances they can positively contribute to the management of the club let alone getting into the Premier League.

They have neither the resources, industry knowledge nor apparently the basic management skills. so I am on what basis you could look at them "positively".

MOT as ever.

*GFH "selling" GFHC "attracting investors". well some one is wrong.

I like poyet and his football but despite having been backed financially Brighton haven't done much better than us.

Remember when Poyet was here with (UN)wise. Dropped us like a hot brick for a number 2 position when we were flying high albeit in div 3. Problem is if he did well for us he'd be off in no time again. Uses clubs as stepping stones to get where he thinks he ought to be. Good manager but would stay to finish the job,. no thanks.

It's a bit hard to judge if Brighton have done better than us as the season isn't over. They lie 2pts of 5th place, which means unlike us they have a realistic hope of promotion. Not bad for a club who were struggling to stay in the Third tier for many years. Even if they don't go up the squad they have, plays with pace and ability giving them hope for next season so I think this is an unfair attack on Poyet. I think the Uruguyan would be an excellent manager for us, but we all know GFH wouldn't pay his compensation to free him from his contract and also he would be unlikely to want to take on a club where he is given £2. 50 to sign players.

some people still citing experience as the key to getting a playoff place. b******s, our experienced players have no hunger, they've all been there, done it, just want a final payday. bring in our more talented youth players to go with Tom and Sam, and the desire will return. they have something to prove. we might even win by more than one goal more often.

I think quality experience with a mix of youth is the key, the problem with our experienced players is most of them are just journeymen not quality and they are currently led by a man who has lost the fire from his belly!

Agree7 Disagree0

Unless they are of the very top quality, experience is often a hindrance to a footballer at our level.
