I see Evans is making a strong case in support of Doukara. Well, the lad's not done too badly lately, but he'd improve even more if he lost some weight snd got a sprint coach. a bit too slow and ponderous at the mo'.

Bit like Saturday's goalscoring chance. Let's hope his teammates serve up some more so he can fill his belly.

To be fair the Douk has stepped up and played well lately, we could do with a speed striker to feed off his hold up play.

I'm looking forward to seeing Davr play tommorow!

I was listening in to the game on LUTV and it could have been broadcast from my local library 😂 all I could hear was Eddie breathing, not a lot of excitement, never mind fellow leeds sufferers, who's coming to Brentford? Seriously need to down those pints MM 😎.

Guys just had a sad moment I have just realized that my signed shirt has Byram's signature on. What do you guys think I should do? (Bearing in mind it also has Cookie's signature as well. )

Stan as it's probably a squiggle just say it's Wootens, then next season says cooks Doukaras, I'm sure no one else will want these two so you should be ok for a few years 😄😄.

Phew that's made me feel better saw a number 26 next to what I thought was Byram 's name it was actually Montenegro just checked on OS last season's squad numbers. (Shows how sad I am. ) God looking back at those you can complain all you want about the current squad but look at some of dross we had last season:Tonge Norris Hunt to name some. (And Hock a who as coach bad bad times. ) Compare that team we have now we are a lot better and we had a average side at best last season with a decent core. IMO this season we have decent side and we have a that should capable of finishing top 10 and have a outside shot for the playoffs. We have underperformed so much this season and it is really disappointing. But anyway back to the point at least I don't have to look at the singed shirt with disgust every time I look at it. Hopefully I will always keep my shirt as a reminder of when Lewis Cook started out at Leeds before he became a super star for us. Onwards and Upwards MOT.

Sorry StanLufc you sound as though you might be getting slightly dilussional if you think we have an outside shot at the playoffs. You only have to look at the league table we are 11 points off the playoffs spot and the same off the drop zone. Since SE has been in charge we have moved from 18th in the league to 16th that to me does not show playoff potential and lastly if we keep producing the dross that we dished up yesterday ( even though we got the three points from a team five places below us) we cannot hope to reach those lofty heights. I think I have more chance of riding a grand national winner than Leeds have of being in the playoffs this season.

I too think we have an outside chance of making the play offs. hold on while I just adjust my straight jacket and take my happy pill.

East Kessick White I mean't to say at the beginning of the season I thought we should of finished top 10 at least and thinking positively top six now I think that it is impossible to finish in the top six but for me we can still and should finish top half and could finish in the top 10. Also Lancaster White it is a good view from my padded cell how's yours?

You may jest Posh old boy but a friend of mine fell asleep at a game and his other 'mates' thought it would be funny to leave him. He woke up and the ground was empty and being locked up. Luckily for him there was still one security dude left who let him out. The team he supports - Arsenal! They didn't call them boring boring Arsenal for nothing!

I'm off down the pub Posh lad. Mrs Mick's doing my feckin head in.

Nice one Georgie Boy. I love Lincoln and it's not too far from my beloved Leeds which I've been travelling to since I was a lad many moons ago. Still remember fondly the old dog track that is now West Yorks Old Bill.

I'm optimistic about Tues game wood will start and new guy with something to prove against old club we can get 3 points and move up the table. Maybe another addition in the next week think we could get a surprise. Lots of games left this season and we are not that faraway from a good team the teams near play offs are not that good either.

Agreed Wex. After this weekend's games, we made up two points on the last play off place, so with a run of wins we could easily get back to within touching distance. Teams with start panicking towards the end of the season and if we have momentum, who knows? Keep the faith and let's get p**sed!

If Dave is as good as Evans says he is then he is a good acquisition at this time. He can support Bridcutt and take some of the pressure off Cook who seems to be suffering at the moment. Bridcutt is on loan and who knows what will happen to him in Summer. Therefore two reasons for getting him now while he is available. Still need a goal scorer. Wood showed he can lead the line but goal scoring is not there at the moment. Doukara seems better at the moment in that department but he's not a goal scorer in the true sense of the word wither. I still think boosting the mid field is key. We have lots of mid fielders but they are not creating chances or taking the pressure off the defence. We had a clean sheet yesterday but we only had one shot on target fortunately we scored from it. Cook, Bricutt and Dave seem more defensive minded. Cook will be good if he is allowed to play his natural game alongside a forward thinking play maker. Chances will increase and we can see if Wood for example can take a reasonable number of chances when they come. Defence will be better when Beradi returns and I think it will be good enough for the rest of the season. That area can be sorted in the Summer with a decent CH or two. If we can get a striker sooner rather than later that would be a boost.

Spot on Hess. We definitely need a "number 10". Someone in behind Wood who can also help midfield area out as well as supporting stiker. Maybe Tomlin?
With such an addition and Dallas supporting I believe we would be much more potent. Cook Bridcutt and probably new guy from Brentford in centre midfield and a commanding CB we will have makings of a good team.

24 Jan 2016 16:44:40
Tomlin? He's bigger than me. That takes some doing. He makes Brolin look anorexic. Time to get in a quality numero dix. Please answer my wish Massimo.

Sorry, but have you got any ideas who we could get on our budget?

Very difficult position to fill with quality on a budget. In any event, I'd be looking at Joe Mason, Mark Davies, James Henry and Lewis McGugan.

24 Jan 2016 11:47:36
Think with what we have player wise we are mid table to top half standard, with some team building/ coaching we will improve, we still need quality additions to push on and turn us into a top six/ automatic side . Couple of centre half's, some quality on the wings and pace up front, 4 or 5 players is all it will take, does not matter where they come from if we can get them in.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

24 Jan 2016 11:02:46
Well probably don't need many, if any, more additions in this window to maintain our mid table mediocrity. But in the summer the cash will need to be splashed big time to make any significant difference. And I don't know about anyone else. I'm actually less worried about the lines of Lewis going. More inclined to think it's inevitable.

24 Jan 2016 15:32:21
I think you're spot on there speedy. Unless we kick on and have a good second half of the season I think cook and Taylor could be off. However, I feel that we are now only a pacey striker from being in the shake up . The new lad and bird cage will provide a lot of cover for the defence and if we stretch teams a little with pace up front, score a few more I think we'll be knocking on the door of the top six when there's three or four games to go .

Yesterday was up there with one of the most boring games I've seen. There have been a few this season Preston, MK Dons, Rotherham (Twice) to name a few. I'm not for 4-1-4-1 at home, but if it gets us points to guarantee us championship football next season then so be it. As long as we don't sell anybody else this transfer window I don't think we should be buying any old dross. There aren't that many decent players around in January, so get this season out of the way and plan properly for next season.
