Before I start I've been a Leeds fan for 32 years played for the academy and have seen the ups and downs but anyway we have no chance of winning tomorrow due to the simple fact that our owners have not dipped into their deep pockets and signed some ''class'' I. e. Rhodes, Winnall Sheffield Wednesday on the other hand have. I only hope we don't make the same mistake as Leicester city and let the best thing that has happened to leeds in a long long time go with Garry Monk why he hasn't been signed up for the next 3 years is beyond me.

You're right on the Monk bit but as for the rest. Bullcrap. I tell you what Winnall and Rhodes if they were in our squad they would not be starting tomorrow. I'd take Wood over two of them as we're playing one up top. Winnall a decent player and Rhodes a scorer but he's one lazy sucker. Effing hate negativity!

Before i start have been a Leeds fan for 52 years and played five a side with Jackie, Billy and Norman up at Temple Newsam. Would not say Winnal or Rhodes are class good at this level but well short of class. Prefer Wood before both. We could have done with another striker but did not see any available who could do job Wood is doing. We have not seen what Alf or Barrow have to offer yet so can't say we did badly in window. Would have liked another CB

Why should the owners spend 9 million on Rhodes in January when we have the most in form striker? He scored 6 goals in 4 games last month, and you're telling me we need more class, he can do this business and I'm not concerned about Woodys performance, ever.

Look at Rotherham, he made 4 clear cut chances for himself, 2 of them from nothing, and 2 of them which he scored. If he ha 4 shots a game and puts 2 away, how is that not class? As for Monk, he's probably already signed but doesn't want to announce.

Haven't you heard the interviews? He talks like he's hear to stay and he has a project. Which manager goes to a club for one season, does well, and then doesn't sign a new contract, even though nobody else has approached him.

well my daughter has been a leeds fan for 11 days since the day she was born and even she can tell the original post is rubbish. her first word was wood is class which is quite good considering her age. owners didn't spend but did they need to rock boat and risk? half time wood has scored and we are wining a game we have no chance of winning. by the way i have been a leeds fan since half past age and once kissed larry on his board patch and hugged strachan batty speed and lukic and once played football with my mates with jumpers for goalposts so i know what i am talking about.

Is it just me or would anyone else like like Robbie Keane on a free. Experienced and could still do the business at this level. Be good around dressing room and be a great player to have on bench in playoffs. Also think he would relish the challenge in what is probably his farewell song. Know he is not one for future but he always gives 100%. Just think he would be an asset at this stage of season even if he did not get much playing time.

I was never a fan of Keane when he was here the first time. I think his completion rate for one on ones with the keeper was about 0%. Always flattered to deceive. I don't think he has improved with age.

I was never overly impressed with Keane when he played for us - good player and goal scorer when the team played well but didn't seem to be able to turn things around when we didn't play so well.

think his goal to game ratio for us was decent wasn't it (not sure but on season review video i remember him doing his rolly polly head over celebration quite a few times) think we paid too much for him but he was better than smith not as good as flower who could of been so special for us and his goal to games for us was very good.

Keane was mainly played on the wing in his lu days if I remember correctly. Up front off the bench could give us a very good plan b at this level, that's if he's still available. WACCOE.

yeah lucas danny was quality for us at your age i thought you would remember or maybe your memory is going, he played in same leeds team as stanly matthews, pele and silverster stillone in goal.
