After reading your site, im glad that you have seen the light about max,, he is so imature and needs to grow up. He has potential of being a good player but has to remember hes not bigger than the manager a def not bigger than the club,, as for paddy, hes been an excelent soldier so solid, bug unfortunately. Has lost his pace,, a great player surely to be missed Also i dnt get why leicester should be jelous? I await with baited breath your reply

Would be a great shout in my eyes, natural goalscorer, rough diamond and very cheap too, definitely worth the gamble as I think he potentially has a big future

Get him in and move Billy on for god's sake. maybe offer an exchange.

Agree,he looks a natural goalscorer,the potential is definitely there,eye for goal,quick,surely worth a punt,Paynter aint up to the job,move him on now and take a chance on Adam.

Gradel not going anywhere, Bates said so today on Yorkshire radio. I for one believe him

Bates also seemed keen to point out that Nunez was a free signing. He expects activity before the transfer window closes, the question is who and when.

I've read through most of the rumours on here and i thought i'd chip in with my thoughts. No more big signings for us, maybe we get forsell, maybe we get a couple of likely lads on loan from the premiership but they will be squad players at best. Come christmas, depending on the clubs league position, Gradel Nunez and White will probably sign at least 12 month exstentions. Our best players last year, Gradel snodgrass and Howson have picked up where they left off, the new signings, Lonergan Keogh and Brown have been excellent for us, maybe a couple of blips here n there but we'll call that teething problems. We currently have four fringe, or were out on loan, players now catching everyones eye, Lees White Nunez and the legend that is Clayton. McCormack looks like a different player showed up this season, when Becchio and Somma are fit again they may find it tough to break back in the first team. The only department which we ALL know needs strengthening is the central defence, Paddy being out for so long has affected him worse than expected and as good as o' dea seems at the minute, he's just not quite there. I'm not even gonna mention lurch cos he's dead to me. looking at available players, theres slim pickings when it comes to quality centre halfs, never seen this Barcelona B centre back we've been linked with play before but im gonna assume he wont be ready for the graft needed for the championship. If we continue with this we'll score more than you philosophy we're gonna be on the end of cricket scores on occasion like we were last year. As a club, we've returned a profit for the last couple of years, regardless of individual feelings towards KB, everyone has to be happy with that, As a team, we have a good squad, a good blend of pace, power, experience and youth. Sort out the defence and we're playing Scum again next season. MOT

Spot on with above - a little investment in the defence should see us climb the table we have goals in abundance within the team - just need to shore things at the back... impressed with Lonergan great signing

Anyone else see the possibility of an offer from another championship team coming in for Nunez?

I can see a premier league team coming in never mind a championship team, an other player who needs to be tied down long term

Nunez and Clayton are the future for our great club
Pull your finger out Mr Bates,on long term contracts or the vultures will start hovering
I agree premiership clubs will start sniffing

some jokers on here - you don't get 8-10 million for a player with less than a year on his contract -luccky to get 5 mill
However, me thinks we could sell Gradel and reinvest in some real quality in depth at left or right back, midfield? Unfortunately, I don't believe that money would all come back to re-invest in players

Do you mean unless its Nasri of course,24 million I think the fee paid,if Leeds dont get the asking price then offer him a new deal and keep him at Elland Rd.

All these rumours about the price Gradel could be sold at or how much he is worth, 5, 6, 8, even 10 million we should sell him. Absolute liability at times and don't think he would he missed at all. Nunez seems a really good player and have Sam as a backup and also Snodgrass is a winger and Keogh can play there.

Cash in and bring in Josh McEachran on loan for the season or until january and sign another centre back.

I like Nunez, but he is very right footed and Max can beat players on both wings. If we sell him it is a backward step in my opinion - we do not need to buy 3 or 4 players, just a quality CB to replace Kisnorbo who is now a liability with no pace and a turning circle of an iceberg.

Really pleased with the contributions of Zac Thompson and Charlie Taylor last night look to have bright futures at Elland Road its great as a fan to see good youth coming through again. Hope we can add a cm and a defender before the window closes would like to see Stephen Quinn and Eric Liachj at the club would be fantastic additions i think then we would be a real threat in this league lets also tie up Clayton and Gradel on long contracts we can't afford to lose real quality for nothing. Top support again last night by the way.

Nunez scores two good goals and now hes the best, get a grip people

He has scored five in 3 games, is that not good like?

Best to judge players like Nunez and Clayton at the end of the season
So far,very very impressed with the pair
Bet teams like Leicester are jealous,we dont have to spend a fortune,its what you call proper management,unearthing gems

Hes doing better than any other player (apart from Clayton) so why put a s**t comment like that?

Better than Gradel, Snodgrass and Howson aswell is he. Lloyd Sam made a similar start last season yet this year isnt as good

max gradel is a great player on his day and has proved that but he is not bigger than the club no player is
So we need to offer him a new contract and get this out in the public
Then we shall see if he wants to play for leeds for " years and years "

It might be sacrilege to say this, but Paddy is turning into a liability. He's lost a yard of pace, can't turn quickly and is often out of position due to his lack of speed. Back up player at the best as he is still light years in front of O'Brien and that barrel of sh*te Connolly.
