Ed, caught a snip of a report on about the judge in mc case having to step down due to conflicting cicumstances. If true what does this mean for him and us with the fl breathing down our necks?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed003's Note - From what I can gather nothing more than a delay trev.}

Cheers Ed

Ed, any idea on what this "conflict of interest" was.

Was the judge MC's Ex, trying to get back at him?

{Ed001's Note - normally it just means they are conducting business together.}

The judge had already presided over a case featuring MC and unpaid tax on another yacht so the similarities were seen to be a conflict and made it hard for her to be objective

1st time poster as new to this internet thingy. I am retired judge living in Kent and long time United fan (since before the days of The Don). I can not say I have looked into this case however it seems odd to have the same judge look over the same defendant, which would force them to step down as another poster said it is hard to be objective. This happens with smaller cases and repeat offenders but little odd with high profile defendant. From what I have read I can not believe it has gone to court and think Mr C will be cleared. He must have good team on case and case seems very paper thin. The whole case a waste of money in my honest opinion

Stability, that's what we need and we all need to be patient. We have some good players and we need to give them a chance to adapt. We don't see everything, if anything that goes on the training ground and if players are given a chance in a new position then why not (although Not a massive fan of this personally!). The coach is still getting his head around this league and he will need to be more aggressive in his team selection as the team will need to be more aggressive (in a sporty and competitive way) on the pitch. Passing is good but we lack enough penetration - when we do it - it's good. This league is tougher this year than previous and I thank MC for being our saviour - we would not be where we are if we had not brought in fresh blood! It's a work in progress and whilst frustrating then it's better than losing every game on the bounce! I was tempted to put my current thoughts on the team that I would like to see on Saturday but, hey, that's why we have a coach. All the best for the game on Saturday - come on leeds

Perfect Peacock. Agree with every word. A win on Saturday would be great, come on lads!

Yeah wolves game will be good, going to sit up in the gods for a change to get the "bigger picture" of the game.

I don't think you should play players out of position, we have no need to do this, we have a big squad.

The problem (and this have been proved time and time again with most teams, including England, yes odd exception as always) is that no matter how good a player is if you ask him to do things that are not in their comfort zone then they have to always think about this (ie it ain't second nature).

With the game as fast as it is at some point in the match they will switch off or just get tired having to always think about what they are doing and will get caught out.

To me in any sport if you have to play out of position (say left wing instead of right wing) I always found it harder as did anyone I have ever spoke to on this.

I know they are professionals and can do a job, accept that but it ain't the same as being comfortable in a role, I never understand coaches who don't get that.

I reckon this year is the easiest for about 3 years!
I reckon mc is our saviour!
I reckon darko does need time to adjust to champ style and demands!
I reckon week in week out darko gets nearer his first and best 11!
I reckon darko needs a win!
Unfortunately I reckon we are 1 striker 1 winger. 1 cen def from promotion. Still!!
Passing ok. Passion and aggression ( non verbal ) needed!
Still can't see anything wrong with the word ed!

When are coaches at leeds going to see players out of position cost us in many ways. For instance Austin, defensively hopeless, yea tackles a bit but so much better in attacking midfield spot. Berardi left back when he was useless in his favoured rb spot. Cook attacking mf, not at the expense of Adryan, Austin or Mowatt. Cook is excellent at breaking up play & starting moves although he can play any cmf position. Take away Cook & Bianchi suffers with nobody to pass to quickly. Enough square pegs in round holes tbh. Darko must sort this quickly as it's costing us points & team shape every game

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Austin never is or ever will be a Centre attacking midfielder. Hustle and bustle does not outweigh his lack of guile or decision making. Mowatt is too slow to play the transition role between attack and midfield

Is it my imagination, or has anyone else spotted signs that Sam Byram seems happier and hungrier recently? He's getting more stuck in, giving interviews left right and centre and generally seems much more interested than at the start of the season . I hope I'm right and he can regain his old form - because until his injury he was very promising indeed imo

yes right cause he said couldn't play under cockupaday

Agree0 Disagree0

I saw him under redders and he was rubbish. May have improved in last couple of games. Nought to do with hock!

Agree0 Disagree0

Upupandaway

Hes probbly had his backside kicked and NOW realises all the interest from the premiership teams has vanished because he's NOT as good as he thought he was!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Bit harsh Andy maybe, but I can't think of a counter argument lol

Form is temporary class is forever. I for one like the lad and hope he shows his class and recent form is just a dip. It does make one wonder if his head was turned as happens so often now days. We need to be back with the big boys soon otherwise I fear young Mowatt and Cook may also get turned and young Cook looks a tremendous talent with Mowatt not far behind. May this be the time that our gems stop getting picked and start to bloom at this club and not another
