Sorry Wex can't agree with you on that, we could of been 2-0 down before Cooks wonder strike. I can't in all honesty think of a serious save Lonergan had to make.

24 Feb 2016 08:00:21
Dallas did have a great chance to win us the game from a pin point cross from Cook he only had to hit the target and it was a goal, Silvestri may have had to make more saves and they did have chances 1-1 was probably a fair result.

Ed 003 :
Yes they were outstanding and I really think MC is building a squad that will get promotion next season for sure 😃 ( I need the money)

A draw was fair. I don't think Fullam were a good side, but I'm sure their fans would have said the same about us. When I saw the team before the match my heart sank. Once again we were playing not to lose, rather than having a go for the 3 points. I get we're not safe from relegation yet, but take a chance for gods sake Evans. It's getting harder and harder dragging my are to Elland Road. More and more of my mates are giving their seats away, because they can't be arsed. I had 5 spare tickets last night!

Please don't let the latest story that is doing the rounds, where a fan claims he was paid to contribute positive comments about MC on Leeds face book page. If we were to write a book on everything that has happened to Leeds in the last 12 years no publisher would publish the story as it is so unbelievable.

One fan claims he was paid to write positive things about M C on face book, yeah that would make a major difference .
Now I know why I do not do facebook!

as a script writer he tried to sign me to write nice things but he didn't offer me a good enough contract so now I write for Norwich.

No need for sarcasm BW, I merely asked if it was true and I didn't say I believed it. We will see if this fan is telling the truth as I expect Cellino will be threatening him with court action the fan concerned and if this fan is living he needs to be dragged through the courts.

sorry if this come across as sarcaims towards you as it I honeslty did not mena of that. I was taking the mick out of the situation and the fact it has been printed (although not believed) I gathered from your post you did not think this to be real so thought I would make a joke out of mc not offering enough wages that was all that was meant honest.

Interesting read on 'I Hate Leeds' blog that states Evans' signing haven't actually made us any better this year. Whilst I agree that Birdy has been good, games he's played in have yielded 18 points from a possible 42. Over the season this would leave us in our beloved 15th place, so no improvement there.

I liked Big Stevie E when he first arrived at Leeds, his passion, respect for the club and enthusiasm were infectious but of late he's started to grate on me a bit. Having a dig at other teams and ex managers shows no class and his rants lately all point to a man fearing the chop and trying to safeguard his own position next season.

Sure, he has a right to do so but the season hasn't ended yet. The best way to enhance his cv for next season is to win as many of the 15 games we have left (incidentally one third of the season) and not by slagging players, ex managers, opposition teams etc etc.

Agreed MM but you got to feel for the guy. One out then one in policy, insufficient funds for better players. At least he has made us better defensively. Cooper, Bellusci and Wooton own goal aside improved as did the Douk in attack. Given funds, I think he will do well. He probably doesn't want to tell the truth in public so has gone into a trance slagging off everyone else. Classy? No. Necessary for self-preservation? Perhaps. He waaay better than Loser.

23 Feb 2016 15:19:48
Don't get me wrong George, I prefer Big Bones Stevie to all of Cellino's previous puppets and can't imagine anyone better in the job right now. Any decent manager wouldn't look twice at us. He may do well with the right backing but I'd prefer him to get this season out of the way before the self preservation begins. A win tonight and we're only 5 points off tenth. I know the play offs are out of reach but a top ten finish would be more than respectable and would possibly give El Madhead a bit to think about close season with regards to spending a few quid on the team. After all he has promised us all that we'll go up next season and Massimo Cellino is not a man who goes back on his word, . - doh!

23 Feb 2016 15:53:55
i know a few people in the game who know him quite well, they have all said he is a nasty man and a bit marmite to play for but he does get the best out of people and is a good person to lay the foundations for success if after this he might be bit limited. I can see the arguments for him to go at end of season but hope he might be given one closed season and ten game next year to see what he can do. While I do not like his antics if he takes us up all will be forgiven.

23 Feb 2016 17:29:37
Personally would like SE to be given the rest of the season and a chance to start for next season, not for any other reason other than I think ewe have had to many coach/ managers .
However I di agree MM .
I did wonder whether he was being kept in place as M C may have a buyer (although that seems to have gone quiet or is it me ) and the buyer has there own plans but wants the team to finish the season before any chances are made .

Big, big decision today for Evans. Berardi or Coyle (or Wootton straight back on the horse) . It will be interesting to see which way he goes.

Might be going against the stream but I really don't rate Dallas. He's OK; gets up and down the pitch but he has no pace; no stamina for the full 90 minutes, doesn't go past defenders and no goal threat. Makes, maybe, one or two decent plays in a game (on a good day) but that's it. If we are realistically going to challenge next season we need a lot better in that position.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

23 Feb 2016 13:37:25
No, totally agree, Dallas is a mere "water carrier" He runs a lot but to no avail. Beating very few and creating very little. If you want a winger with flair (and work) look elsewhere. If you want a machine going up and down the touchline, he's your man.

Agree1 Disagree0

23 Feb 2016 10:09:33
As I believe we have no chance of being relegated and Evans has said all of the players are playing for there future between now and the end of the season, I feel it is time gives the likes of Botaka/ Sloth/ Coyle and Phillips to name a few the chance to show what the can do. By giving fringe players a chance we couldn't be worse than the last 9 league games and you ever know Evans might get a pleasant surprise. After Aunty Lucy's performance it is time to give Erwin ago up front. Comments please.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

23 Feb 2016 10:27:35
i love ant and massive fan and think he is a talented football but have to agree he is either off his game or doesn't want it and either way time for him to sit out. not seen much of ewrin but he is young and looks a handful I say give him a chance. Sloth is a hard one to call because his stats look good and few fans rate him however none of our last 500 managers have so something has to be off with him. Again difficult to call with botaka as he might be great or he might be another habibobibibooebodeideboo or sanzhe watt. out of all mentioned I have higest hopes for phillips I think he has real quality and will become a very good and important player so like to see him given a bit more time, this said briduct and diaoaomegaefhfe (Dave) have both been playing well so harsh to drop them.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Feb 2016 10:44:37
Dont need to drop either bw, phillips can play in front of both. In academy he played in front of cook got forward got goals created chances. If evans is looking for attacking options needs to put some of these guys on, dallas puts the effort in but ix he a goal threat? Just think if he is serious about assessing players needs to give them tme on pitch, 5 mins no good. Personally think eerwin and wood will be good together having watched them both play.

Agree1 Disagree0

23 Feb 2016 10:53:13
Whoever we play, just need to tell some of them to GET INTO THE BOX.
Then, even by the law of averages we will score a goal occasionally, however flukey.

Agree2 Disagree0

23 Feb 2016 13:44:05
I agree with the theory just urge caution and drip feed the new players. Certainly agree with the need to get people in the box.
This is not only a commitment to do so but a fitness level that covers 2 banks of 4 defending and seconds later the ability to sprint 70 yards with the ball if required.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Feb 2016 16:15:44
glad to hear I thought phillips was defensive mid but with bit of class when it comes to creating rather than attacking mid, which is good as we need one.

can't believe all these idiots are saying we need to put people in the box, you must be mad if we put people in the box we might score and where is the fun in that. idiots.

evans on a rant . i'm not the best manager but without my 3 signings we would of gone down . and next year i will have squad to finished in top six . some statement . when he is having trouble signing players now . can see big clear out . bamba look poor saturday . so evans you've said this top6 next year . that's if your still here one never knows with mc . and good players coming in . well we all hope your right . i can't see good players coming with you as manager why you have no track record of sucess and unknow to players of class and skill.

Believable0 Unbelievable3

23 Feb 2016 10:32:12
i agree with evans to be honest, he has massviely improved us defensively, although this has come at a cost going forward. we have had some good results and good performances under him (some pretty boring ones as well though) . I do agree his signings have all done very well and been far more impressed with them than any other managers signings since old larry. we do not know he is having trouble siging players now? that is all paper talk and roumours for all we know he got every player he went for and really wanted. I would say he does have some success as getting his last tin pot team promoted was huge success and they even beat us with him in charge. maybe it is rose tinted glasses, but I do believe under SE with a couple of his signings and bit of luck we will be top six team next year or ceartinly there abouts.

Agree2 Disagree1

23 Feb 2016 10:57:55
Well I've never been a massive SE fan, and am getting a bit tired of his repetitive interviews (but I'm prepared to put those down to his way of trying to get MC to open his purse) . I agree, the defence is better under him, and the players he has brought in have impressed. Whatever the faults are with our goalie and defence, they are not the reason we are in 17th (or whatever it is) . We simply do not score enough goals or create enough chances.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Feb 2016 11:08:42
A few scenarios;

Evans has a wish list and would have liked one or two more signed in last window. MC tells him keep powder dry and maintain championship status with what we have. In the summer I will fund all transfer targets you want for a promotion push next season.

Evans playing MCs game for now but knows pressure is on to win more games and stop relegation. Evans believes money is there because he knows Parkin is investing in summer.

Leeds lose next couple of games and fans voice angry concerns about club relegation worries , poor form, and demand for heads to roll (MC out etc) .

MC sacks Evans due to poor form and relegation worries and fans reactions. Or it's all good and we improve form avoiding relegation, MC gets rid of Evans anyway with a lame excuse because he has no intention of funding or can't fund a promotion challenging team next season.

Hope Evans gets more time myself, but MC has to improve the squad in the summer.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 Feb 2016 11:08:51
I hope so BW.
Well impressed with Bridcutt and Dave especially. A few more of that calibre and we won't be far off next season. IF MC keeps his nose out and gives Evans time.

i love dave and might his name on my shirt next season, also like birdcut but not amazed with him. I also like caraoy or whatever his name is he looks good and even score which is very unleeds like at the moment.

one thing on SE recurtment he needs to get a few names that are easier to spell I can't spell at the best times these new signings are killing me.

This year. As of last year and the year before we lack pace
How hard is it to find someone who can leave a defender for dead and cross a ball or heaven forbid. Score a go for fiddlers sake!?
