Just read some of redfearns quotes if Leeds provide 6 parking spaces how does he make out he didn't have one he also states it was sweet to beat Leeds this is the team and club he claimed to love 6 months ago and youngsters he claimed to have made so sweet doesn't sound right bittersweet maybe better choice or maybe he's just bitter.

I have heard the FL are looking into car park gate and we are looking at a -15 point penalty.

No we are ok. Shaun Harvey still has his space. Next to uncle Ken I believe, just past the GHF spaces.

Mowatt and Cook were not on form yesterday Murphy was bullied all the game and didn't want to know he has never really shown in this division. We desperately need a strong midfield player and Steve Evens needs to look how he plays Mowatt we loose out on a natural winger to accommodate him in the team thus isolating our two front men and therefore limiting our scoring opertunities. With QPR and Hull City our next opponents I would start to get worried that we could be drawn back into a relegation spot.

After yesterdays result loosing to a poor side like Rotherham who by the way had made nine team changes from the previous weeks game and played six loanees we must bring in some loan players of our own. It's quite clear to those watching the games that we cannot continue to rely on 20 and 18 year old players.

{Ed001's Note - 6 loanees? Are you sure? I thought the rules limited the matchday squad to 5 on loan players?}

22 Nov 2015 14:40:12
I stand corrected Ed they must have signed Leon Best on as an out of contract player which accounted for my 6th player.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - ah ok, thought for a second Leeds would have a case to pursue to get the result overturned. If they had 6 loanees, they would have to award Leeds a 3-0 win, as Rotherham would have fielded an ineligible player.}

22 Nov 2015 14:57:29
That's sounds interesting and the way way we played yesterday would certainly be the only way we would have got the three points never. Mind the goals as well.

{Ed001's Note - shame you miscounted then.}

well wotton wotton how the hell does he get a game . yes played at Rotherham for evans so best mates then . or mc saying don't play sam intil he signs so it doesn't matter that playing a crap doesn't help . no matter what team comes first surely . hopefully Charlie and sam in next week . at some time Erwin has to start . evans said after Wycombe game he runs and runs then said he's not match fit makes no sense . one step forward then three back so nothing changes then .

It's Sunday my missus is gloating that again I follow a shower of miss fits and that I should give up my dreams of prem football for at least four years and concentrate on the real world! I'm starting to think she's got a point? So thanks lads for making my day yesterday and making my wife sound like she's talking sense! Lol.

Wrote yesterday about the achilles heal that is our midfield, although I do accept that our defence is no better. I feel that Murphy offers very little to the team and because of his obvious flaws it highlights whether it is effective to have Mowatt on the wing. It may sound unfair to have a go at Mowatt due to the two recent goals he has scored but generally he offers little pace on the wing and provides no defensive support to the left back. The decision not to play Mowatt more central is due to his lack of mobility, therefore when Murphy plays (and fails) Mowatt for me becomes a luxury particularly when you have little penetration with Dallas on the other wing. The replacement of Murphy with better quality on loan (Bridcutt et al) could allow us the luxury of Mowatt on the wing.

Predicted we wouldn't win. Redfearn's lads in midfield gave him a winning bonus. They were never going to be up for putting one over their old mentor. Mowatt Murphy, and above all Cook were not performing at all. Add to the that Berardi had one of his worst games and his poor tracking back cost us the goal although no challenge earlier in mid field didn't help. Wood was poor again and Wooten beggars belief. Belusci wasn't at his best but in fairness when he made a couple of errors he put them right. All in all I am glad the Redfearn factor is out of the way for the time being and we might resume the progress. One final comment Botaka and Erwin should have been on the pitch much earlier.

What are people's opinions on the last time we had a 'great manager? ' For me it was George Graham. He addressed the problems and got a good, difficult team to beat and setup things for O'Leary to take over. I watch plenty of football and recently watched, Harry Kewell talk about how in training the lads would scrap and fight to where it would be actual fist fights, no surprises, Bowyer, Burn and Harte were always in te mix and a certain, Hopkins and Viduka. I watched, Dom Matteo and a thing on Kev Keegan where he said his best signings were, Ginola and Batty. Dom also put Batts in his best 11. For me, Batts was, O'Learys best signing. 4.5 mil and allowed Bowyer to get forward and score. Ferdinand was class and no doubt about it but Woodgate was just as good. Viduka and Fowler would have been one hell of a force up front and had things not gone tits up, Milner (who I think is one unbelievable player that could do a job anywhere on the pitch) would have been a legend at Leeds.
Grayson I liked and thought he was doing a good job but I might be wrong, wasn't he a defender himself? It's the one area he never sorted and still hasn't been to this day. He also had good fortune because, Gary Mac had brought in, Snod, Luciano, Beckford was there, Howson coming through.
We have the greatest fans in the world and believe me when I go to away matches the Leeds fans really are the very best, passionate supporters in the world. Makes you proud to be Leeds. About time all were rewarded because it is deserved and Manchester has had enough success now.
I praise Massimo for what he has done because he did save the club but all the controversy is not helping anyone so I think he should sell up. A club and city the size of Leeds should attract a wealthy owner, Mas saw it himself so why not others? We could be massive and a huge force with the right owner! We produce good young talent and have a passionate following. I would give Evans a good go because the guy seems to want it. Moyes has been mentioned and to be fair what he did at Everton was not exactly poor! Don't get to manage Man U otherwise and he never got the money to spend the new guy has! Minus a top player like Scholes, Ferdinand, Vidic, Giggs! He could never replace them. He wouldn't be a bad thing at Leeds but for me we should stick with Evans for now and hope things come good. What does everyone else think?

Now are you classing them as great before or after us as well? because I would say the last truly great, legendary manager we had was clough, last great manager when with us was revie!

This match was a banker. There was no way that Leeds could lose at home to such a poor team. I told the chief engineer to put his house on it because I had put all the money in my account on a Leeds win. A certainty. Money for nothing. Haha those bookies are going to be paying ME today, not the other way round. In my mind, I had already spent my profit. It was win win. I win the bet, Leeds win the game and get up to mid table. Oh FFS it's happened to me again. I must NEVER bet on Leeds again.

I agree, should have been a dead cert! Although being Leeds and the amount of times they have broke my heart the 11 / 4 odds Rotheram were at was a tempting sympathy bet. Never had the heart to back against my beloved club, but I might starting doing it. That way I look at it like I'm getting a refund on my season tickets ;-)
