Use our rumours form to send us leeds transfer rumours.

One thing I don't understand is why would Brian McD hand a list of players he wants to GFH as has been reported when most clubs haven't issued there release lists yet? Surely it would be better to wait and see whose released and then formualte a list.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Players who have been released in the main are in the last year of their contract, that is why BMD knows who is going to be available, players know, their agents know.

Take Leeds, we knew Rachubka, Bromby, Kisnorbo, Connolly would all be leaving on a free well before the club announced it.

Agree0 Disagree0

Still gutted about Rachubka ;)

I know not everyone can go to every game but please can we fill the elland road on our first game of a great future that would be great and get the message out fill elland road

Note I will see you there my good friends

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Wanna see if the club share the fans ambition first, we as fans have been duped far too long now to just hope we will have a good squad/entertaining football and a good chance of promotion. we wanna see good signings and keeping our best players as well then we can fill our ground and sing our hearts out for the team

Carlton Cole released by west ham? what do you all think, personally I think it would be a great signing, he was key in west hams promotion

Believable0 Unbelievable0

22 May 2013 16:38:10
He is supposed to be asking for 40k a week. Out of are price range plus I rather bring a top class forward for 40k than a west ham reject

Agree0 Disagree0

Anyone preparing for a premier league relegation battle will be in for him. Cardiff, Stoke, Sunderland.

Agree0 Disagree0

And hull.

Agree0 Disagree0

And soton and norwich

Agree0 Disagree0

He won't leave London. Could be what QPR need when they shed their free loaders.

not bothered in the slightest who bmd brings in, I know from what I have seen he is a good judge of players so he will make the right choices.

if we can get rid of
brown pearce norris kenny and a few others then we could build a decent sqaud.

not a fan of billy sharp if the rumours are true to the surface that we have gone in at 1.5m but everyone deserves a shot,

anyone who says any ex players will be coming back I really hope not. new manager new start let's move forward with the times.

i saw a post on here saying we should raid the the lower leagues for players and rising talent. I agree with this there is a few players I have seen that could step up.

ppl keep banging on about nahki wells, personally I think he's too weak on the ball and runs into trouble and has no control of what he is doing, still needs nurturing maybe in the future he will be decent, but we need a NOW player (s).

just my thoughts and opinions. I know there's some reading thinking its total bs. we all have opinions,

my question to you all is who would you think of bringing in and why,????

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Luke Murphy from Crewe, need a ball-playing CM.

Get rid of norris? you mad?

Jerome Thomas and gonzalo reyes both realised by west brom. Jerome Thomas was brilliant whilst on loan. Great pace and loves running at defenders. Reyes is a solid centre back maybe worth a go?
Any thoughts?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Jerome Thomas wasn't brilliant was he really. He showed a few times what he could be capable of. But brilliant he was not. However who really knows what/how any player could perform under Warnock!

Agree0 Disagree0

Think he'd be better now we have a manager with his head screwed on. give him a short deal.

Please do not forget that a player that has been released [sometimes by "mutual consent" before their contracts expire] are players that a club, who has had them for sometime, is saying they are not good enough. Some of the 'free' players being punted around are spent forces. they are capable at producing 4 weeks of good form to win a contract and then do jackschitt for two years.

A 'free' player who has let his contract run down and is any good will be looking for a 'signing on' fee in lieu of the buying club not having to pay a transfer fee. so they are far from free.

We will be better off paying for a couple of 'team changing' proven players and then looking to the lower divisions were talent is looking for a chance, like Gayle at Peterboro and so on.

Jerome Thomas and Charlton Cole both released surely these are players that would boss the championship and within our price range "free".

Hmmm wages - might be a stumbling block particularly with Cole

How about we start raiding the lower league teams for their emerging stars as so many clubs have done to us over the years. Mix them with our young stars and try and develop everyone together because if any one thinks we are going to be making any decent signings worth any sort of money are wrong. loan players old players and the wrong players are what will come through our door. But on a lighter note can't wait for the new season so start whether it be a good or bad season I hate these 3 months without seeing the mighty whites.

I can not believe the amount of FREE quality there is available for a change, I will be really annoyed if we don't at least try for a couple of them. Usually we moan about free players, generally because they aren't good enough in the first place, but the lot that are available at the moment are definitely good enough for this division, some may even play in the premier league next season.

Of the ones that are available I would want us to sign a big powerful pacey striker, so either Ebanks-Blake, Cole or Jackson personally.

I also feel we need a solid experienced centre back, many have mentioned Richard Dunne, and why not, he is solid, experienced and definitely has a couple of seasons left in him, failing that Alex Pearce or even former Leeds defender Matt Kilgallon, although the latter would likely be my third choice out of the three.

Midfielders, yes we need more than 1, we lack real quality in the middle of the park, both creatively and for supply, whilst the majority of the free midfielders are likely to stay in the premier league I would still make audacious moves for players like Yossi Benayoun, Florent Malouda and Jermaine Pennant, now I am not saying we would get close, but it shows ambition at the very least, and yes all three are now in their 30's but they all retain the quality we require. Of the Championship midfielders available for free I'd be looking at both David Lopez and Vicente from Brighton, although both may well play above this level next season, Keith Fahey and Lewis McGugan would be two others I'd be happy with.

Any further thoughts about who we should and shouldn't be going in for, please feel free to add.

I see both Jerome Thomas and Carlton Cole have been released by there respective clubs. Both could do a very good job for us. Wages might be an issue, but at least we wouldn't have a transfer fee to contend with.

Just when we thought Man City were maybe of the scent it now seems Liverpool are sniffing for Byram. MOT

Believable0 Unbelievable0

This has always been the case they have watched him a couple a times since january when glen johnson said he wanted to leave for spain he would only be backup to kelly hence why I think he will stay unless he's sold for transfer funds

Liverpool also have Andre wisdom at rb.

Just heard all the new targets are being computer generated in our new kit. Sone fans have refused to go to matches if the new strip dosent suit the players.
Too right to. What the bloody hell has the football got to do with anything.
