This may sound a bit strange but it may be a blessing in disguise that we got beat, it should confirm to MC that we are still a long way from a decent squad which I am sure he realises. From what I have seen and read I have confidence that Beradi, Vivani, Silvestri and Bianchi are good signings and will add real value to the squad. I am not convinced about Doukara yet but willing to give him a chance. It is clear that we need I believe two wingers a centre back with experience and pace which I believe Gamberini has so he would be a good signing plus a established centre forward, I would hope that would be our marquee signing and we need to spend a few million on that position although I saw an earlier post about Chris Wood and he would be a good addition and maybe a very reasonable price.

Hopefully the starting 11 would be Silvestri, Beradi, Gamberini, Pearce, Wanock or new signing, Murphy, Byram, Vivani, Bianchi, Smith and new centre forward. That I believe could be a decent team to challenge this season.

Would still like to see Chris Burke sign a proper winger who creates puts in good crosses and scores goals and cheap, I will not accept the excuse of MC not knowing the English leagues and players, we have to better than that if we are to succeed.

It's a blessing. IF. the investment in talent on and off the field is ab=vailable to match or exceed the gap.

If MC and Dave "have it:. resources and nouse. then we're seeing the start of new era.

If not. then a 2-0 loss to Mansfield Town. is the sorry start of a funeral march.

Gentlemen. it's not a "roller coaster". jus twists and turns and ups and downs. no. we'll either win or lose. and its them who choose. ad if we don't win. then we're lost.

Do you think MC sees this as the finished team to reach the premier league? he's not daft mate, 2 to 3 year plan and it will take time.

If its 90% done what is the remaining 10%? Just the formalities or are there serious negotiations still to be done. ie Has the player agreed to come or not? Any ideas anyone?

{Ed013's Note - I imagine the contract off is in, the terms or the transfer are agreed, whether its a loan or permanent, which leave it down to the player to decide if the move is right for him}

Apparently a season long loan has been agreed - announcement today or tomorrow. unclear if there is an option to make it perm.
