I've been to every home game this season bar the cup game against Spurs. There's not the same atmosphere for sometime. Standing in the Kop used to be a real buzz and we have to have some of the quickest witted fans anywhere. Our chants and songs were varied and started when MOT rung out until the final whistle, now it's MOT, we are Leeds, when I was just a little boy. and occasional section break out into something realise no one else is joining in and shut up embarrassed. now I have to contend myself with watching the football. what's the word coming to

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Totally agree mate. Standing in the Kop and singing for 90mins was somet I will never forget. Very little atmosphere at matched nowadays compred to back then. Bring back standing and let's go ******* mental! Lol

i really hope Warnock sticks with the same starting 11 on saturday that played against blackpool, this I think has been one of the problems with Warnock, he never plays the same team! trust me neil, it will work?

Believable6 Unbelievable0

No mate he'll switch it and bring useless Austin back. We'll lose midfield and the match. jD

Agree3 Disagree5

Should have a song for all the players plus one for the visiting team Kop are useless same abusive chants

I don't think he dare change the team from wednesday because he knows how close he is to being lynched if he does and we lose.

Can't wait for Blackburn tomorrow, a ground I've always fancied going and with a good Leeds backing it should be a good atmosphere! Really hope we can all march on to the play offs and continue our pursue on the top 6 with another 3 points! It's now time for us fans to stop the negativity and get behind the team and manager, let's push on together and hope for a good end to the season! Warnock won't help himself with the fans if he changes the team from Wednesday because Wednesday worked perfectly, why change perfection!

Come on Leeds let's get that 6th spot!

I think what we need on here is some light hearted quiz questions for all ages. Enjoyed the guys question yesterday about fav home and away matches. In fairness it fetched back fond memorys and realised just how good it was back then. {Ed013's Note - What about send in a photo of your first ever Leeds shirt or the shirt that was worn when you where born. They can go on the sightings page}

Believable3 Unbelievable0

I've done a photo of my daughter in the shirt from the year she was born, only 2 but loves leeds, ask her who she loves and it's not daddy or mummy it's leeds leeds, annoys the inlaws lol. {Ed013's Note - Excellent}

Agree10 Disagree0

Ok what is your best leeds gift? I have 2 pin badges my dad gave me from when he was a kid, but for my 21st birthday my mates got me a program from the day I was born! Possible the coolest present I have ever had!

Agree6 Disagree0

My son joined the Royal Navy some years ago and is a Leeds fan so I wrote a letter to the club asking them if they could do something by way of encouragement for his new choice of life - Lucas Radebe sent him a signed photo with a good luck message written on the back {Ed013's Note - Top stuff mate}

My most treasured thing is from the old trainning ground back in the days of Sgt Wilko's barmy army! that's why you see that at trhe back end of all of my posts.
Anyway, it's a photo of me and my brother and a friend at the trainning ground, with are arms around Vinny Jones, Me sporting my Vinny V haircut at 14 yr old. Bar the 70's that my dad none stop rems about. I think it was the start of a really speacial time for the team and the fans. No team ever moved up to old 1st devision (prem now) and went on to win the league in 2 yrs. This we will never see again by any team.
Hope we get that 3 points tomoz, get a lot of teams sweating if we did.

My first Leeds shirt was just plain white, you had to buy the Owl badge and the number and sow them on yourself, number 8 (Clarke) for me. Just shows my age.

I still have a T-Shirt and a replica tracksuit from when we won Div 1 in 1992. I won't part with them but would like some more winner's gear in the not too distant future. MOT Ron

Who gives about Boyd, I think he's overrated and all this media he's got from the forest debacle has only increased this. If he was that good he'd be in the prem at his age. Better options out there for us. MOT!

Believable8 Unbelievable4

Correct mate. Hull have paid over the odds for Boyd due to Aluko being out for the season. Also they are desperate for promotion, they are nearing the end of there Prem League parachute payments, which would effectively leave them broke in the championship, do they have decided to gamble on promotion. We couldn't justify that gamble as promotion is a distant hope at the moment. We could still do with a winger however.

Agree10 Disagree1

No Boyd is a good player and would of made a diff. who is better out there? And I mean who would come to Leeds and we could afford. shrew leeds

To all Leeds fans who went to the Blackpool game, how fast is our physio! Get him on the wing!

JP {Ed013's Note - Faster than the Blackpool one}

Believable18 Unbelievable1

Maybe he could do with some support, by all accounts and rumours he's going to get it when Mr Adkins steps up to the plate

Rumour is Norwich have been scouting him for some time now.

Yet I would never be so presumptuous or narrow minded as to tell other Leeds Fans that there actual not proper LEEDS fas as they have not been lucky eought to have done the same.

Have you followed them all over the world and have you been lucky enough to do so. if not by that rational duse this make you les a Fan than me. The anser is or should be NO

Good stats down below about points with and without brown and Austin
Wonder if warnock knows them cause I bet one or other or both will be in the team Saturday!
I think we have to attack attack and attack. We are going to lose a few games anyway, but fielding 433 will mean we might sneak a few, and possibly sneak the play offs.
I am 100% behind team and players but never have and never will thi k warnock is up to the task. He is not going to be here long enough to like or care about him. In response to other post below. Yes a leeds fan but no no no warnock

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Ausman, I am latching on to the hope that as we are now drinking in the last chance saloon Warnock will forget about his percentage football and let them off their leash and go for it like we did against Blackpool. We know that if that is the case then the stands will be rocking and the 'us against the rest' mentality will return. I know that we fans lose our inhibitions when we have a team that just goes for the opposition regardless (O'Leary days springs to mind). That thought excites me far more than seeing the season out hitting long balls for Morison and Varney to battle over hoping to pick up the scraps. That thought has got the juices flowing already. Hi all/ Ed's. Couldn't sleep tonight so just got to thinking about who we could have as next management team. I was listening to radio today a certain well known uk brand something about chatting footy and all (you get the jist of the brand name now) their 2 experts had Dario Grady on talking about who / how he has been so successful in the development of youth up against his more illustrious peers in and around his own club. he said the club involved had very little if not no transfer budgets so the main importance was bringing through their youth systems for their own team and eventually for transfers to larger teams with the monies generated saving/running the club. the point being you say? How about Dario at Leeds as director of footy with maybe a certain R Naylor or Neil Redfern in as manager or any other younger hungry, wanting to prove manager instead of the norm list of woulds wouldnots just a thought lads what you think

Believable3 Unbelievable16

As I said it was a thought because the pool of YOUTH which we have a good squad of talent at leeds and and W fingertips. but won't acknowledge at present. those fellow insomniacs who disagreed with comments (which is your right)what were your thoughts then? as I said it was thought to cause a bit A debate!as nothing on here of late to whet the appetite IE gossip, rumours, about the LOANEES etc we are supposed to be trying to procure! Oh we'll another day in paradise

Much too big of a job for any of them mentioned.

Agree0 Disagree1

No - we need a proven manager not a beginner.

Agree1 Disagree1

Revie and Oleary were not experienced managers and they did ok, we do not want an older experienced manager with baggage, I think it is best to bring in a young manager who can grow in to the club rather than expect the club to bend to him.
