ed have u noticed how much more positive we all are now since we got the old warlock on side happy days !! mot {Ed013's Note - Mate I must admit once we went 2-0 down to Doncaster it was one of my lowest points, however win aside, Mr Warnocks interview after the game filled me with a new found excitement. Its about time everyone got together and made Elland road the fortress it deserves}

Ey should make some cheaper tickits available for those who carn't normally afford to go - get a full house behind the team

MOT

Agree4 Disagree3

I'm OK with that :-)

And to be really fair give all season ticket holders a voucher for shop ;-)

Ah well we can dream ........ I'll settle for 3 points

So fans who can't be bothered to go get a cheap ticket and the ones who go week in and week out get a voucher for the shop! {Ed013's Note - I know where you are coming from, but I asked myself this question before Christmas when Mr Bates said he could not reduce tickets due to season ticket holders as they may not be happy with others coming for less. I sat and thought and to be honest, yes I paid a lot for my season ticket, but at this stage of the season if we could get a full house to generate the 12th man then would I be bothered if others got cheaper tickets? My answer is NO. The atmosphere is terrible at the minute and if it gets fans coming back then I would be more than happy for fans to get reduced tickets. Lets remember, some fans would love to be there every week but can't afford it as they have to support their families etc. So, in my opinion I would not begrudge any fan with a cheaper ticket than me this season}

Agree2 Disagree0

Yes the atmosphere is terrible, but why should i and thousands of others like me in effect subsidise others. I don't think it is the price as much as the poor standard of football that has kept people away. as for the atmosphere the away fans need moving back into the south east corner for a start.

How about a free pie for the adults. {Ed013's Note - Going on last Saturdays pie, I never want one again, burnt from the outside to the inside! I would take a free pint though!}

Agree5 Disagree0

Can't say mine tasted to good , I'm with you free pints for adults. {Ed013's Note - Time to forget the protests against Mr Bates, time to generate a petition to get adults free pints!}

Agree2 Disagree3

Forget the pies !! i heard u get a billy barn door doll free next home game and it says doh !! everytime u pull its leg back !!

Agree3 Disagree0

Pies out,pies out,pies out.

Ed, just got this sent to me in work, have you heard any of this?

My Da is friendly with a guy in Wales who is Tony Dorigos father in law. Apparently Tony was telling him that Leeds havent wanted to go up the last few seasons as they would have to pay the football league back millions of pounds in loans. The time limit for this runs out at the end of the season so from next year if Leeds get promoted they wont have to pay all the money back anymore. So the story is they are aiming for a big push next season another reason why they shifted the manager 

You heard it here first.

Believable3 Unbelievable13

Thats not far wrong, I know its the last year were we would have to pay the tax man back there 60p in the pound, KB payed them 30p when we went into Admin but we had to pay a further 60p back if we got to the Prem League within 5 years, that ends at the end of this season, I am also aware we had a similar deal with the Football League, as I always said KB is no idiot....MOT

Agree5 Disagree0

No we didn't hear it here first. This has been said many times over various forums for the last 2 seasons. Well done for being "the first in the know"

As for Tony Dorigo. Do you really think Ken Bates and Harvey keep former players who they have never worked with up to date on the business running of the club. Catch yersel on.

Agree9 Disagree1

I heard it first about 6 months ago, it's very common knowledge thesedays.
A for effort! F for quality!

Agree4 Disagree2

To the first post, we owe the football league money? We owe no one any money what had transpired is we were and still are in a CVA company voluntary arrangement, much like IVA if we get promoted with six years of taking the CVA we have to pay back the difference to creditors (hmrc) etc. After this season we pay zip back if we get promoted and we can trade and borrow if need be. Debt free effectively.

Agree3 Disagree1

Hence why bates taking leeds into a administration and the CVA was the right thing to do, even if the rest of the football world don't like it. Why should we have to suffer with what Ridsdale did to us for even more years.

Agree5 Disagree1

This old nutshell again !! we all knew this was the case thats why all these fans on here kept saying we will go up this season dnt read the black and white alot of us on kept saying we wont go up due partly to this issue so watch us next season with funds and where we go !! bates wirly old fox !! mot !!

Agree3 Disagree1

It actually doesnt change till the end of the 2012/ 2013 season.The extra expenditure ammounts to about an extra 22% of what we we now.....I believe....I think.

Agree1 Disagree0

If it doesn't change untill the end of the 2012/13 season that IS the end of next season, which has been the underlying issue here?

Therefore if we get up this season we have to pay, if we go up at the end of next season we don't. Makes sense to do what we can this season but to get the team ready for a big push next season, bolstered by the money we then WON'T have to pay back.

Agree0 Disagree0

Heard that story for the past 3 seasons, boring

We should go in for Lampard. I don't know why AVB doesn't like him. He would be able to unlock all the defenses in this league and we could perhaps offer him this season on loan and maybe a permanent signing if/when we go up. Ken bates could then shift next years shirts nice and easy with the Lampard name

Believable1 Unbelievable5

It's Silly Season again...

Makes a change from Alan Smith, though - fair play.

Agree12 Disagree0

And we will pay him in magic beans I take it.

Agree8 Disagree1

Yes, if Lamps were to quit Chelsea he would ignore the offers and money from the Prem, abroad or the USA and would definately end up in the Championship!

Agree7 Disagree1

Signing Lampard ain't gonna happen if he reads the reviews of the club pies written above!

I was at ER today and saw Danny Webber in the club shop. Had bought a kids away strip with 'Mini Webber' printed on the back. He was eating a cheeseburger, must have been to the McDonalds across the road. Reckon he could be signing. {Ed003's Note - Or just having a burger,did he take the gerkin out? crikey they are 'orrible}

Believable3 Unbelievable3

Sorry ed I don't agree , I really like the gerkin and think it might be a good signing for us - poops sorry got confused there {Ed013's Note - I think all the players must have 3 meals a day in Mcdonalds as there fitness levels are terrible so Webber will fit right in!}

Agree5 Disagree0

Unfortunately I couldn't see if he had a gherkin was in there or not. I didn't want to stare and he was wolfing down the burger. He looked in a very good mood.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rumour has it that he only likes Burger King's bacon double cheeseburger {Ed003's Note - Now that sounds much better,Mmmm..}

Agree2 Disagree0

Vote now agree macdonalds or disagree burger king bk for me every time {Ed013's Note - Both are good hangover foods for me!}

Agree2 Disagree5

Lol !! thats why we been crap papa smirf said to team cant go up this season due to financial retraints so u can have as many big macs as u want on me !!! its cheaper than paying out to administrators this season lol !! next season they can only ave pasta !!

Agree0 Disagree0

Got to be burger king !! taste far better than macs !! lets get back to serious issues now can we ? lets vote on getting burger king across the road instead of maccys !! lol mot !!
