Dj yes you got a point and bige but my worry is we end up with another misfit who just doesn't cut it in championship?

Well I think that rafferty would be a great signing. I'm only going on what he does for n. Ireland. He looks quicker than wood, a better finisher than wood. And his hold up play and work rate are great. Get him signed up quick!

With around 100 appearances in the English divisions he boasts a return of 11 goals. Just the striker I want to pay to watch every week :/.

Lafferty is used to playing the lone striker. So in that way he would suit us and it being his natural game would probably be better at distributing the ball to others. It isn't Wood's natural game. I believe we should get him on a short term contract until the end of the season. Remember we had a Northern Ireland striker who was great at international level but really did the business for us.
