Can you imagine if West Ham & Leeds share the play-off spots and are destined to meet in the final? What I would give for a Ross nutmeg on AOB and score the winner in the final minute of injury time...

Believable13 Unbelievable1

I don't think we should be selling anyone to our main competitors for promotion this season?

Agree5 Disagree0

^ No we shouldn't be selling to main competitors unless the price is very very right.

Agree1 Disagree0

If we can get them to take him, it would be a masterstroke as he's a poor player in what we've seen.

Would u let snodgrass go in order to get keogh and a bit of cash ?

Believable0 Unbelievable18

No way. Best way to raise cash is to keep Snodders and his goals and assists get us to the play-off final and we win it this time.

Agree12 Disagree0

What an odd post!
Keough will be either free or £250,000

Agree8 Disagree0

Nobody would want Keogh ahead of Snodgrass! Keogh works hard, but doesn't have Snoddy's quality, even if he is a booze hound who gets knackered.

Agree6 Disagree0

I know Snoddy had a slow start to the season but he's one of the few players we have that even when off form can create something out of nothing and always has the ability to change a game whether scoring or creating.

Keogh has done well but he scores rarely an I think a match fit Becchio with a run of games behind him is a better proposition alongside Ross, he proved what he could do in this league last season to his doubters - he works hard, gets assists and also SCORES GOALS!

Snoddy is a major player for us though and there's no way I'd sacrifice him for Keogh

Agree6 Disagree0

I sometimes wonder, when I read suggestions like this, whether it shouldn't be compulsory for us all to reveal our age when posting. Anyone under 10 years (or over 110) could perhaps be forgiven for thinking we might get anywhere without our most creative player. Best wishes to all of you! P (age 49)

Agree4 Disagree0

I think that could catch on putting our age at the end of a post, good call (18) {Ed003's Note - Me too, 21 }

Agree1 Disagree0

Single worst post i ever saw.

Agree1 Disagree2

Me too 25-de akko {Ed001's Note - I nearly choked reading Ed003's age! He must have missed the 1 off the beginning.....}

Agree1 Disagree0

Everyone seems to have forgotten about Forssell. He is quality at this level, and I am at a loss to understand why Grayson signed him and then never picks him. He is a regular international and is a clever player who knows where the net is. Keogh is honest and gives 100% but just doesn't have enough quality.

Agree8 Disagree0

Admittedly I've been disappointed with Forsell because when he's played he's looked poor, maybe he just needs a run of games? (16)

Agree5 Disagree0

I wouldn't take Keogh.

Agree1 Disagree5

You missed Parker out,not good enough and injury prone.

Agree4 Disagree2

Ben Parker, forgot all about that guy.

Agree1 Disagree2

Easy to do - let's hope Grayson doesn't bump into him and remember he could select him!

IN's Nobody as were tight as a mouse's bum {Ed025's Note - well..your a cheery soul!!....try supporting your club!!!!!!!

Believable0 Unbelievable11

Typical pointless text try being positive for god sake we are in a play off position and have had few unlucky draws and one whopping but other than that we are looking promising

Agree9 Disagree1

Why Grayson out? Are you another Leeds wannabie looking at our site cos yours has no fans!
Also, fellow Leeds supporters, have a look at the rumours page. People are saying that they want all these players to leave but who will have them. Im sure they are not genuine rumours and are in fact peoples wish lists! What ever happens, get behind Larry and the lads.

Does anyone know when somma is due back?

Believable2 Unbelievable1

With our rehabilitation record, next pre season.

Agree0 Disagree4

Whats with all the negativitiy! 5th in the league, come on Leeds.

MOT

Agree4 Disagree0

It's not about negativity, it's truth. Becchio hasn't come back well after injury, Paddy hasn't, Parker is still on the list, Lonergan, players keep picking up knocks that leave them out for weeks on end.

Agree2 Disagree3

Oh yes, Leeds are the only team who have players injured, or whose players take some time to come back after a long term injury..get real or go home!

Agree3 Disagree0

To answer your question directly i seem to remember it will be late march / april.

See O/S statement on O'Brien. Love the subtlety. "The former Newcastle and Bolton defender..." We clearly trying to demonstrate a connection with Fat Sam. Where did Fat Sam manage again? LOL.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

I read that reference to: 'ex newcastle and bolton' as typicall leeds trying to pretend the players are bigger than hey actually are. In the same way we say'international' defender darren o'dear, (who isnt even our player) Come on leeds, but for god sake stop blowing wind up your own backside. MOT.

No one knows the real reason why O'Brien didn't play same as Tevez situation or am I wrong was there people here who claim they were there at the incident. Anyone bad mouthing him not knowing the story is a clown simple as that. As bad a player as O'Brien is if I was him and O'Dea was in ahead of me I'd be kicking up a fuss since O'Dea is one of the worst center halves ever to have sadly pulled on a Leeds jersey and plays shocking week in week out. There's only so much a man can take of that but as I say I don't know the reason and none of us do so have some cop on and be quiet until we actually know the real story.

Believable3 Unbelievable13

Im a clown then and I say good riddance! SG has already said that he fefused to play. So as far as I am concerned we play a big part in paying his wages so bye bye!

MOT

Agree9 Disagree1

If you think Obrien merits a place ahead of O'Dea you are as pathetic as he is mate.

Agree11 Disagree3

Agree with the above post, how can u stick up for a player who has refused to play for the club.

Agree9 Disagree3

You are definitely a clown so since you still don't know the reason we know he refused to play but again you still don't know on what grounds. Anyone with two legs and oxygen in their lungs merits a place ahead of O'Dea and your entitled to your opinion dispute it being very poorly thought through.

Agree2 Disagree7

The original poster's name is Coco. Simple as that.

Agree5 Disagree0

Whilst everyone who pays their money is entitled to an opinion surely to say that O'Dea is one of the worst centre-halves in recent years must have a very short memory! Since his switch from left back I think that he looked solid until he picked up an injury and was beginning to form a decent partnership with Lees

Agree6 Disagree0

I also think o'dea is a good player, im gutted that kisnorbo aint as good as he used to be but seems to be clumbsy but i love the guy cause he really wants to be there, o'brien can do one, even if he fell out with someone you still do the job you get paid for and do it for the fans but respect has gone and so will he be MOT!

Agree5 Disagree0

Not only has this player kicked Leeds United as hard in the nuts as he possibly could, your argument about him deserving his place over O'Dea is just as astonishing as you sticking up for him in the first place! i would go as far as saying that judging on this season's performances, Bromby deserves a place higher up the pecking order than O'Brien!

i have never seen a defender have his pants pulled down as far as OB did against Saints 1st game and then Bradford too. shambolic

Agree6 Disagree0

Whatever OB's reasons, to refuse to play for your employer is a disgrace, I really don't know the circumstances however my guess is he wants games but Simon has said with his track record this season he doesn't warrant a start....if that's the case, get in the training ground and prove your worth DONT spit your dummy out. He's being paid more in a year than the majority in the ground get paid in 10 years and it shows complete disrespect. I also ways look at these situations (the tevez one too) and think if I went to work and told my boss I refuse to work, I'd be sacked in the spot after being given an almighty bollocking. Fine him for refusing to play and then let him go In jan but who in their right mind would sign someone who now has publicly been such a tool - he becomes a big gamble and will no doubt affect the fee we get for him {Ed025's Note - i think you speak for all football fans mate...nice post..

Agree6 Disagree0

Cheers Ed! I just want to see players who give everything - if they aren't in the side for whatever reason, well prove the manager wrong in training and give him no choice but to play you due to form, not through being an ungrateful git who clearly has no respect for the club or anyone associated to it, especially the fans!

He's not playing due to dire performances - do something about it, we know he's capable as when he joined he looked pretty solid. Arrogance and (bad) attitude won't get him games, training ground effort and performance will.

I'd like to see this Monty Gimpel loaned out to get games like we did with Lees, Clayton, Somma, Beckford, it'll do him wonders and hopefully prepare him for our first team for the not too distant future {Ed025's Note - there is nothing more irritating, than paying your hard earned cash, watching players who dont seem to give a toss!!...i agree with all of your points mate

for all the Grayson haters that claim he has no balls, hes handled the O'Braindead situation brilliantly and pretty much told him where to go, good on you Simon!!!

Believable10 Unbelievable0

What else could he do if o'brien refuses to play for us,

Agree6 Disagree0

21 Nov 2011 13:03:25
With o'brien leaving (hopefully) how about getting habib beye from villa, he never gets a game there and is far under rated, myabe get him in on loan for a while and see what he's like. Cant be worse than o'brien.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Then again, maybe not, he's gone doncaster...never mind

Agree3 Disagree2

Hasnt he just gone on loan to doncaster

if the inevitable does happen and OB does leave in the near future, is it worth taking a pop at Danny Wilson in the Emergancy Loan market (closes Thursday)?
i know this rumour was doing the rounds recently but surely not a better time to sign him than now? he doesnt get any first team action at Liverpool!

personally i think Bruce is good enough to be a reserve for the 3 in action at the min - kis, o'dea and Lees!

Believable3 Unbelievable0

21 Nov 2011 11:07:12
i can't believe the story about Andy O'brien refusing to play for our club it's a disgrace i woudn't mind if he was that good but it just goes to show what a big baby he is just because SG doesn't pick him, he should be ashamed of himself, Billy Sharp played and scored 2 days after his little boy died now thats a proper player wish we had him scoring goals for us let o'brien rot till Jan and then sell him and by players who want to play for our great club

Believable12 Unbelievable0

To think he claimed to be a fan of the club too. there must be some deep rooted vendetta against the manager.

Agree4 Disagree0

21 Nov 2011 10:09:21
I am so glad that andy o brien is not going to play for us again he has passed his expiry date, we should bring in a cb in January, not sure about kilgallon though

Believable9 Unbelievable1

21 Nov 2011 00:25:20
Andy O'brien doesn't want to play for Leeds! While losing no sleep over an average player leaving Leeds United what does bother me is the manner of his departure. A simple explanation might be just around the corner but if not I'm very concerned at his reasons - this type of thing can be like a cancer and be a 'put off' for other potential Leeds targets who see issues at the club - there must be an explanation and soon!!

Believable7 Unbelievable5

Victim of our boo boys I think! Your right the way Obrien and Rachubka have been treated will put potential targets off.
While both have had really bad performances the personnel attacks on them by some so called Leeds supporters is, in my view uncalled for.
Pele.

Agree4 Disagree9

Disagree. If a player buckles because of some stick from the crowd, then he isn't strong enough to play for a club like Leeds United.

Oh what a coincidence that apparently Wet Spam are sniffing around him! He's off for the money, it's as simple as that.

The man's a disgrace. Send him back to Bradford.

Agree9 Disagree2

Agree with the 2nd post, Andy Hughes himself said to me 'if you cant handle playing in front of the Elland Road crowd you might aswell retire'

Agree5 Disagree0

So Messi comes to play for Leeds, and fails to score in 3 games, and gets a load of abuse for it from the fans. He's not strong enough for Leeds?

No-one should have to put up with the abuse that our fans give some of our players, it's shameful. I dont think there'll be many players knocking down the door to come play at Leeds at the moment, the wage structure aint worth the pressure the fans put on the players.

Agree3 Disagree5

Messi, haha. Talk about going over the top. If you cant handle the pressure playing for us then go and play for a team with no support. We are a hard set of supporters to please as expectations are that high. Our team is very young, you dont see the youngsters crying!

MOT

Agree4 Disagree0

No... they just see their contracts out, and leave for nothing!
