what is the problem with all the urgency for new signings, it's about time with the acadamy that we have at Leeds that we start using it in the first team, young lads in our acadamy are more than capable to adapt in the Championship. Also Billy Paynter will be a great front man for Leeds, it is not just about scoring goals.
Sorry mate but been a striker is all about scoring goals that's what strikers do shame paynter seams to be having trouble in that department

Simon Grayson has just been on , he was asked about Alan Smith and said "We are not ruling anything out" and about Gradel "We hope he will be here for many years to come"....only if they offer him a new deal Well aslong as he accepts £2.50 and a kebab from Ken Bates
Smith may be unpopular with quite a few fans but he did a good job at championship level...I'm not sure about wages however :-/

How would this be fraud, i run a small business mate i do know a little bit about suning companies, i have even spoken to my solicitor today.
The way forward is for the TRUST to be held in a client account with the solicitor so if it never whent ahead all money would be returnd, therfore it would only be fraud if no got there shares or money back.
i know quite a few small business who are leeds fans and they are all up for it, even my sol is up for a few share.

Max Gradel to leave to the highest bidder as he hasnt signed a new contract. So expext the recent players on trial to sign and a few others. Grayson keeps going on about waiting for the right players but the best ones have all been snapped up. Bowyer & Woodgate as mentioned by Mr Greedy Bates. Don't know why people are making such sn issue out of lack of signings and "quality" players. We haven't done bad at all in our friendlies, there is still over 6 weeks until transfer window ends and if you look at premier league teams with the exception of scum and scousers hardly anyone had done much business. Plenty of time, our squads not bad at all

Weeks and weeks ago Bates said something along the lines of:

Well what a load of rubbish that has been - it might have done if he'd put his hand in his pocket for wages (which is why we're missing out on players)
We haven't even got a keeper for the no.1 spot yet - and anyone we do get will probably be on loan.
I seriously hope something gets sorted soon before ALL our prospects get snapped up.

Match report from Leeds's 1-0 friendly win against Rochdale states that 3 trialists played. Jlloyd Samuel a left back, Isaih Osbourne a centre midfielder and an unknown trialist.

Would sign Samuel, established left back and Osbourne for a bit of cover.
All is needed now is Stockdale, Lichaj and Clingan/Smith.
Also a young prem striker on loan. {Ed001's Note - you wouldn't like Samuel, he is, how to put this nicely, laid back or lazy if you prefer. Plenty of talent, but there is a good reason he is dropping down the leagues on a free, he just apply himself.}

not so much a rumour, more an idea.....how about a protest to demostrate our frustration at the first game of the season. My reckoning is opening home game there will be at least 25,000 fans - we get everyone to buy a 10 box of Birdseye fish finger and everyone throws them at the directors box OR pitch - thats 250,000 fish finger they then have to clear up. We do this every home game until Bates gets his hand in his pocket. Who's up for flinging some fish?

Swansea have improved their offer for z season long loan deal with them. Can see him taking that over a trip to Leeds. Premier league and better wages will always rule.
Brum looking to bin ben foster off though. They want him out on loan, but can see wages and the million they want as a stumbling block. Honestly can't see us signing a keeper with Rachubka and cairns.
He won't have any choice unless we can agree terms with fulham first - don't forget that is the first piece of the jigsaw, he has no say whatsoever unless fulham say we've agreed loan terms with the following club, where do you want to go

When Leeds played Motherwell, i travelled up there with a few friends and watched the mighty whites play.
One thing i noticed was our defence was looking strong. Tom Lees & Aidy White looked absolutely amazing, id like to see some first team football for them this season.
We seemed to be lacking upfront though, McCormack was good, but Paynter isnt up to the standard we are after. With Somma out for 6-9 months and if Becchio does have the operation then we really do need to sign a target man striker on a short term loan, because McCormack is a good player but he needs someone who can feed him.
Any thoughts Ed?
Defence looked strong? they played a pub team {Ed045's Note - We played an SPL team that was literally 1 week away from there season, a team that would probably be able to finish mid table in Championship with ease most seasons, they fielded a full strength side whilst we played technically 2 completely different teams, SG knows we had to improve our defence and now with Jlloyd Samuel, left back should be filled, with him and Ben Parker, if Lichaj comes back that's right back.
CDM two players for that post, ATTmid, 2 players, wingers, 2 players, we are short of a striker and a Goalkeeper, maybe a CB addition and we will be ready to go for the season.
We need Nunez on our regular first team {Ed045's Note - Agreed
One player we definitely don't need in my opinion is Ben Parker. He would be skinned by every right-winger in the Championship.
Totally agree, Parker is not up to the job, him and Paynter need to be got shut of.
