Great win last night well played all the guys. Still think bellusci is weak link he had no need to trip the player and nearly cost us the win. Hope bamba comes in soon and will slot straight in. Also bianchi simply not good enough will not get a game in front of murthy Austin cook mow art and even sloth so let him go.

Is having a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate a qualification required to be a fit and proper person to run a football club?

If Massimo doesn't have one - it would not surprise me if the FL extend his ban as not being a fit and proper person to prepare a pre-match meal within the rules as laid down in the FL articles of association.

Must say Murphy has impressed last couple of games, looks decent. Still not sold on Austin but he's playing well. I just don't think he reads the game enough, ie when he passed to Murphy for goal he stopped and started walking when he should have been making tracks into box? No doubting his energy. Not missing Warnock much are we. That's one win four more to go mot

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Did you go last night. cook absolute quality. Rudi ran and ran and ran thought we had two players on scared there back four to death. MAN OF THE MATCH.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rudi must have been shattered after last night, he was not only running box to box, he was running the channels upfront to support Morison.

Good for him! players should be prepared to run their socks off for the team!. If they are not: they should be shipped out!.

Micky like I said Austin is playing well no doubt. But when we get someone who can play the right pass you will see what I mean. I was at the match been going since 1966 and Cook was man of the match at 17. mot

Had the dubious pleasure of freezing my nuts off last night at ER and must say it was a cracking game.
The fans as always were amazing singing their hearts out and lifting the boys.
I've read a lot on here about Morrison so last night I chose to focus on him.
I know he hasn't scored goals which is poor but in my humble opinion he played his heart out and the lad has a lot of quality.
For a big guy he's nimble on his feet and a handful for any defender.
We were torn to pieces at times by their left sided forward who opened us up time and again and only the gods saved us from defeat by a better side and a terrible ref.

I totally agree it had all the crowd on the edge of their seats. Poor decision by the ref I think he was going to award a free kick on the edge of the box but was persuaded by the Bournemouth players that the foul took in the box. I listened to Refearn on the radio going home from the game and he said some of his players had run out of steam with 20 minutes to go so why the hell did he leave it so late to freshen things up. I thought that Mowatt should have been brought of at half time. He brought nothing to the game looked leggy and disinterested. Refearn needs to work on those substitutions better and stop pampering the young lads if they are playing badly then get them off.

Wilson. Needs to play for us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Morison was a constant menace to the Bournemouth defence and it was a shame he had to go off injured. If I had one slight criticism is that I feel he has little shooting confidence and therefore looks for other options instead of having a go himself. The Referee was tragic. In the run up to the penalty award the referee blew for a free kick outside the box and pointed both his hands to the spot where Bellusci had committed the foul. He then changed his mind, gave the penalty and then sent Bellusci off. Not saying that it should not have been a red card but it was definately not a penalty. I also got wound up by the Ref's insistance to tell Silvestre to hurry up taking goal kicks at the end of the game, he was in no bloody hurry in the first half when he gave a drop ball and the entire Bournemouth team were having a meeting with their manager on the sidelines. At least the cockup with their disallowed goal was in out favour.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with East Keswick, although I would commend Redfearn for getting his game plan right from the start I would still criticise his in-game management, specifically his reluctance to use options on the bench to replace players who are tired or not performing well. However, I would also criticise the selection of his bench as it restricts his options as last night he had 3 attackers (Sharpe, Antenucci and Doukara), 1 midfielder (Bianchi) and 2 defenders (Pearce and Berrardi) and 1 goalkeeper (Taylor). Redfearn could have easily sacrificed either a defender or a striker to have an additional midfielder on the bench (i.e. Sloth). I don't wish to appear disingenuous to Redfearn as the result last night was great however there is still room for improvement.

Great result today. I have been a critic of Murphy for some time when he was played too long when not performing and buckling under the pressure of price tag expectation. In fairness to the lad he has kept going in training and come back a much better player- more like what was expected. Nothing much has been said about Austin. He has been absolutely outstanding in recent games - breaking up play winning and keeping possession, driving runs andhis power and strength means that in tight situations he rarely is knocked off the ball. he often provides a platform for others to play. He passing is usually good so the odd misplaced one and tendancy to shoot from ridiculous positions I can forgive. If he can be more consistent and keep this up he should be one of the first on the team sheet.

I've backed Murphy for a while. Looks like he lost a little extra weight and is reaping the rewards.

So what last night proves is that on our best we CAN compete with anyone in this league, and relegation should not be a worry. We had some luck, but it was only the sort of luck that has deserted us in many other games. Smitch (and others) who were saying we needed a few older heads to help the youngsters are correct. We didn't necessarily think it should be the likes of Murphy, Wootton, Murphy or even Austin - but they are earning their places. Redders is learning to change tactics to suit the opposition, and I think he is definitely the best person for us at the moment. For the rest of this season I don't think we need to worry about all the MC nonsense, doubt he is going anywhere (he cooked the pre match meal last night). I'm not even bothered if we don't bring in any new players - although I think we will. The major concern is that we manage to hang on to the likes of Cook and Sam during this window - that will be the true test of Cellinos commitment. It's going to be virtually impossible to keep them in the summer though I guess. But let's work about that at the time

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Well said Speedy. Couldn't agree more

Agree0 Disagree0

Obviously I meant to include Morrison instead of repeating Murphy, and the last sentence should say 'worry' not 'work'. I need to read my typing more carefully

Thats a good idea grip
Makes sence to spell check!
Think of others trying to read it.
Not convinced about redders but he does seem to have read a book on tactics recently.
Beating the best has never been our problem.
Still think we need another striker
Wootton seems to have returned well!

Speedyg, Cellino commitment you say? More like Childs. Can't see any first teamer being sold during balance of window due to Cellino ban.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope so George. Think Byram and/or Cook will go in the summer (obviously hope not), but we should be quids in if they do. And credit to Redders for getting the best out of Sam. I bet he nearly went for a song last window. Should have at least tripled in value now

We've had a bad season so far to state the obvious. There's only one person to blame and that's Cellino. His heart my be in the right place but the moment he chose Hockaday we were shalalala. Two manager's later and things, understandably, still ain't right. We basically started the season one third in. Teams like Bournemouth, Ipswich and Brentford are flying but our squad is at least on a par with them. Other sides have under performed as well but at least they all have had continuity from day one. Anyway, I believe that if we had a decent manager from day 1 our league position would be a lot better. And I include Redfern in that quote. MOT.

No coincidence when FL tell Cellino where to go we win. I am a massive fan of Cellino in terms of heart in right place and there are things he does correctly - sale of mcbadgekisser for big money - but 80 per cent of what he has done and tried this season is not to be repeated in the Championship. There are some good players in our squad and with a couple of good windows we could be contenders next season even with Redders as manager but I would much prefer a new one with real tactical nous.

Just seen a photo of their penalty. Tackle was yards and yards outside the box. Ref needs reporting to FL! Apparently their disallowed goal was not offside either. Time these crappy officials got the sack, They are changing results and ruining games

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No point in reporting the ref to the FL. It was the FL who told him to give a Pen. three yards outside the box

D'oh you are right. I'm so stupid at times. He probably got his wages doubled, or a b***ocking for not making them re-take the penalty

Absolutely delighted for Luke Murphy. Just goes to show, even when written off by most fans, that sometimes your character will carry you through. And fair play, the lad has come in after a long time out and done the business, and not just his two goals. His whole attitude has been bang on and along with Mowatt and the amazing player of the year so far Cook, our midfield has so much potential. let's hope we can keep it up and not carry on like after the Derby match. Great first half, rode our luck a bit second half but so what we are due a bit.
I'm worried that Cook is that good we won't be able to hang onto him.
It's catch 22. He's a great player but don't tell anyone!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

You are right danum. Cook is useless. I think we need to hang on to him for a few seasons to see if Redders can get any improvement out of him. And we will need to play him regularly to do that
