Hopefully GFH learnt a good lesson last night, lower the ticket prices, get the crowds back and the results will come back.

Ed, I know its not possible to know who is real leeds and who is not but I definitely feel a few on here aren't real fans. I could not understand some of the comments whether banter or not.

I am not saying this is a bad site, I just read comments slating warnock and think " this isn't about leeds, its about him"

Any fan fancy talking this out?

I am not more than happy for a debate

MOT with warnock and the varney army {Ed013's Note - Everyone is entitled to their own opinion}

Believable3 Unbelievable9

I get the impression that every post I read is from a Leeds fan. Their posts are always about the team or manager or management or support. WUM's usually have a go at the stadium or mention the attendance for a 1 club city etc. I don't think the fact that somebody is critical of the manager or a player makes them a non-supporter as you are suggesting. I am critical of Warnock on this forum at the moment but I am absolutely a Leeds fan and have been for over 40 years. I have never been vocally critical of players or managers whilst at a match and never will be but that doesn't mean I think everything at ER smells of roses all the time.

I do mean them that slate like micheal brown, not the best player but definitely good despite his loss of pace, I just wanted to show that even though I question warnocks tactics, like many others, I continue to want him In till end of season as I feel there maybe a few surprises.

To the first poster I agree it is right even man citeh and arsenal doubt their managers as they feel they derserve more and I sometimes think we do.

I am not a ST holder just a member and I talk with many of my mates who are man united and chelsea fans and see the glory supporters.

I know I am just being over proud of my team and probably viewing things through rose tinted glasses and as warnock would say I am a glass half full man.

But never the less we are not united if we are opposed to eachother and I will accept any view with the chance to talk it through.

MOT

Agree2 Disagree2

Luckyluciano, I'm afraid if its about warnock as he is our manager then. It's about leeds! He has stuffed up a lot this season so people are well within their rights to voice an opinion about him, a lot of your posts recently are about who's REAL leeds fans, is that doing the club any good or uniting the fans having to justify if we are real fans or not? I live in Sussex and get up to 5/6 home games a season, quite a cost but that's all I can afford in any given season, can you tell me if you feel I'm a real fan? Just wanted a REAL fan to tell me if I was as you clearly are.

This is why I think eds idea to put this sign in is good as it makes people answer for themselves,

On the relevent question I asked if some people coming on here might be oppostion fans causing disharmony.

I question supporters who focus more or management and owners than on the team. I have the opinion that many fans across leeds (I say leeds as I understand a lot further out can't always afford week in week out) use bates and NW as a scapegoat for their lack of action.

I understand your gripe that I question fans but seemingly this was a test of passion and wanting to see who is the die hard. I attend maybe 20 a season but with two young kids and a wedding in august I don't want the bride to be unhappy that I spend my spare time at elland road (much to my dismay) I will accept any criticism that I am questioning peoples passion, but why have so little fans responded?

I admitt I have thoughts of why do I bother? Why don't I just leave it and watch from home?

But that's a other thing. My recent posts are more my opinion than fact, I apologise for offending any fans.

Agree0 Disagree2

Its just a way for people to get out opinions, however I do think that ther could be a few hudders fans or something winding trying to wind us up sometimes.

Well I had hoped for a midfield four of Pugh, Brown, Rodgers and Nunez in the summer. It's all Warnocks fault we didn't try this golden quartet. (Sarcasm, before the doom & gloomers get started).

long long shot but if owners what to reasure fans that they are marching on together and can match the fans ambition then the manager I would have a cheeky go for is David moyes. out of contract soon.

owners would show what there about if they even talked to him

Can't see Everton letting him go anywhere.

I'd love to see Moyes at Leeds, but reality check time my friend. Plus Moyes thinks he has it tough when he only has £10-15mill to spend pre season, he wants to try £150k and a bag of peanuts for a tough summer transfer kitty.

Would like Diouf in the team but not sure at whos place he could take. Logic says McCormack but I feel Ross is more likely to get a goal. CANNOT change midfield 4 though. MOT

Believable8 Unbelievable4

Are you drunk? u clearly didn't go last night. McCormack offers so much more than diouf. I like diouf and get what your saying but not for McCormack. he is a different class, holds ball up well, runs at defenders and works the flanks well! was proud to watch leeds last night! MOT keep positive lads!

Agree11 Disagree0

21 Feb 2013 18:16:34
Warnock likes to use 1 or the other as they are quite similar players. Both good at holding the ball up and can make a pass bringing people into the game and both have a trick or 2 up there sleeve.
McCormack is a better finisher and faster runner.
I would say diouf has a better football brain very clever and urns us plenty of freekicks. He's very good at wasting time at end of the game.

Agree2 Disagree0

No i'm not drunk just made an accurate post. McCormack is a very good playerbut so is Diouf. We seem to miss him when he's not playing especially his passing and never losing possesion. However as I stated before I feel Ross has the edge as he offers a greater goal threat! Also I like Varney and Green on the flanks. Might be pissed later though!

Agree1 Disagree0

Keep the 4 we had in midfield and play diouf just behind McCormack to feed through that killer pass he is capable of and have Morrison as a power sub sometime in second half for freshness upfront and a fresh change of dynamics and system, just a thought to utilise both McCormack and diouf.

Agree3 Disagree1

Yep we missed him that much on Wednesday we won 2 nil.

This lad plays international then jets back and plays domestic. So let's give all the players a break. Thanks.

Austins a top player and we need him I just think he's knackered - but in all fairness Norris and Tonge played great last night

Ok eveyone a bit of fun this is for all age groups and it can cover Leeds from the 50's to the present day what was the best away match and best home that you have been to.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

My best home match was leeds v leicester when gordan strachan scored the winner late on. never heard anything as loud in my whole life. away match when we bet sheff weds 6-1. brilliant away day for me. remember moaners this is my own choice.

Has to be my first away game as a kid. In the white corner Lorimer, Clarke, Jones et al, in the red corner Keegan, Toshack, Heighway etc. stood amongst incredible set off supporters with my cousin, a reds supporter, singing my heart out, have to own up to a little bit of anxiety as she had given me her scarf to look after. Her dad could only get tickets in the Leeds end, fine for me though. Score was 1 - 1 but what an atmosphere I can't still hear the songs ringing in my ears all these years later.

Agree1 Disagree0

My best one was when we won the title back in 92. Away to Sheffield United in the away end. When we scored the first goal most of the away ended erupted in celebration - I think 80% of the crowd must've been Leeds fans.

Made the journey back just in time to watch Liverpool stuff Man United 2-0 (Ian Rush scoring both). Meaning it was irrelevant whether we beat Norwich last game of the season (but we did anyway - Rod Wallace with a superb solo goal). Happy days!

Someone beat me to it! Viduka 4 Liverpool 3 Also oxford away 2 nil down at ht and utterly crap then won 4 - 2 still remember news footage of some lad diving head first off a wall when 3rd one went in! what I'd give for Chris Fairclough back!. even at his age now I'd play him!!

Agree1 Disagree0

Oxford away 1990. Two nil down at half time looked dead and buried and looked like we might not go up. Four second half goals and a four two win. Although sgt wilko gave Chappy a right rollocking as he took a penalty that won have got he hatrick and he missed it! Home four three against Liverpool. Got to admit I was on the verge of going home and I know some people that did!

Agree2 Disagree0

Most of the best games have been mentioned, but I remember being 3-1 down at Coventry in 1993 with two minutes to go and Rod Wallace (remember him?) scored twice to get his hat-trick and the Whites an unlikely point.
any of our wins against Scumchester are memorable. MOT Ron.

The season is not over yet. We are 6 points off play offs with a game in hand, it is still possible. Remember when Blackpool went up? They sneaked into 6th position right at the end of the season and ended up winning promotion. Please everybody try and get to the games if you can, I know it is hard for many of you. We have the best fans and when there is a good crowd getting behind the team (like last night) the team play well. We kept a clean sheet against a team that scored 8 goals in their previous 3 games against us. Come on Leeds their is still a chance.

God you lot make me laugh. One win and everything is hunky dory. let's see if warnock keeps a winning side. Bet brown and Austin back in. He was lucky to pick the right team and will prove how useless he is by changing it. He is not worthy of our club. What's with all you miserable gits out there. This site used to be a place where I could go and read a bit of old fashioned banter. Jokes, light-hearted discussions etc. Nearly every post now has someone MOANING on and on about everything negative.

OK so we've not had the best season but we're still in with a shout of a playoff place. I agree there has been some dire displays this season but there's also been some fantastic displays. It's pretty much a new team, new manager, new owners. At least give them a chance before you set about them like a pack of wolves. We're Leeds UNITED ffs.

It's becoming very apparant that the frustration aimed towards Neil Warnock is personal and nothing to do with how the club is doing. To those that continue to slate I think you best find another club as this negativity is not doing our club any good.
On another note its nice to see GFH actually make some form of communication as well, in the Bates era this would never have happened, infact we would still all be moaning amongst each other, at least although very slight we do have an insight into what they are trying to achieve behind closed doors. Time for the lads to put a run of them performances together on the pitch and get us into them play-offs. MOT SussexLeeds

Believable11 Unbelievable10

Rubbish, you are obviously a GFH employee posting as a fan.
No coincidence brown gets dropped and we look solid in the middle (no daft fouls) 2 strikers up top and goals arrive, warnock has to go he luckily stumbled on this XI - I bet this team won't play next game, it will be the dung back in.

Absolutley buzzing about last night. it's not so much the 3 points that I'm so happy about its the way we played. How can that same group of players be so poor at places like Barnsley, and then put in performances like that at home against better opposition! It's is mind boggling! We've got some class players when in the right position we can beat anyone in the league! Full respect to Luke Varney he's been a revelation since the turn of the year, he's been fantastic he's not the best player but he's gives the most and he's improving fully deserves to be on that team sheet!

Well done gfh for tonight's pricing. great atmosphere and good win, loads of kids which is our future. Back to 'bates' prices for the milwall game and 18000 attendance, maybe gfh should do more of it

Believable26 Unbelievable1

Well said that man. We all feel the pain, but that's what supporting a Club is all about. It is very easy to critisize, have done plenty of it myself. Even though I believe it may be time for a younger manager (the man himself said he was only in it for one more year) I felt nothing but embarrassment listening to the jaunts aimed at Warnock at the City match. That is not supoporting the team, that is the opposite. We have to support the Club no matter. I wouldn't think it would be too encouraging to the players hearing the crap that comes out of the terraces sometimes.

Lets March on together. we can lift the team.

Unfortunately, I can't get to the games. I live in Brisbane. But everytime I get home I make sure to go. I envy you guy's that have the opportunity week in week out.

As I said a couple of days ago stop the f---ing moaning will ya, the man can't win, we want him to play attacking football he does we get a very good result and he still gets slated, you moaners need to go support someone else because we don't need you, your what's bad about this football club Neil is doing his best with limited resources anyone else would have walked by now, I have been all season not missed a game and not once had a go at Neil but tonight I couldn't believe what I was hearing, 2 games ago certain fans wanted his head tonight you were shouting for him to give you a wave, which he obliged, me I'd have told you to f--k off, so my message to you is either support the team 100% and that means Neil aswell or stay away because we need everybody to be pulling in the same direction if we are going to achieve our goal.
