I have told the Wednesday manager, that he must let us win 6-0 tomorrow or else his 'Ashley Maddison' profile pic of him in stiletto shoes and panties goes to the YEP.

Silvestri does divide opinion but I would stick with him for his reaction saves but I would be bombing high balls into him on the training ground. He has to learn to catch more and be bolshy in the box

Drop him. Never hurts. That's why we got 16 goalkeepers. Silv might train harder on crosses if he is dropped.

A goalkeeper not being able to control his box is like a centre forward not being able to head the ball only worse, as it costs goals. We need a complete keeper. don't know why we got rid of ashdown.

I'm afraid to say that I'm in the drop Silvestri camp. At my age I can't afford to lose week off my life every time the wendies put a high ball into the box tomorrow.

Turnbull for me, dominating the box and taking crosses is key against a tall side. Unfortunately our inability to deal with crosses is a key tactic for opposing sides

Notts on the money again. Wouldn't surprise me to see some high balls hoisted into our box along with power throw-ins into area just to test us out. Should the Cat concede another soft goal ER will turn on him quick. We would be in safer hands with Turnbull. Literally!

5-1 leeds tomorrow you heard it here first. (and they will score to make it 1-1 before we run away with it)

Mornin siblings. For what its worth I think there are a lot of positives to the start of the season, we will improve, we are unbeaten and playing better than we have for a few years. Plus Cookie has had a nice little rest. Onward, upwards, get on it tomorrow and down those pints and support those whites. You wouldn't knock a toddler for falling over while learning to walk. MOT

True vid. But you might b*llock the farm hand for letting the fox get to 2 of your chickens just because he forgot or didn't know how to shut the gate properly 😃. That's his job after all

It is true you wouldn't knock over a toddler but what we can do and should do is drop Silvestri for Turnbull. Silvestri is a very good shot stopper but lacks command of his area. This is a significant portion of a goalkeeper's job. He shoulda learnt it by now but they don't teach that in Italy. Bring back Berardi for Wooton and on Reading showing bring back Cooper for Bellusci and we should be alright for S Wednesday. Murphy has to come into things more too. Leave attack as is!

What do we do with Silvestei? Dropping him will completely knock his confidence. If we play him Wednesday will pepper him with crosses, which we know he's not fond of and if he does drop another clanger, then again his confidence will be shot to sh!t. He is a great shop stopper we all agree, but has he improved this last year? He can be a match winner or drop us points. Surely whoever plays in front of him can't feel confident.

According to Rosler press conference George he is sticking with Sylvestri the cat. I agree with you that he needs to improve in other areas and that he is an impressive shot stopper, would have dropped him to make a point at least. Remember though he is still pretty young for a keeper and will improve, we need him to do that quickly and then hopefully we can keep him for his best years.

Rosler will stand or fall by his decisions and personally I feel that playing Silvestri tomorrow is wrong. The guy has had long enough to learn all aspects of goalkeeping and so far he has only mastered shot stopping. To me that is not acceptable.

Agree with George re Silvestri, it is vital a keeper can catch a ball and command his area (Paddy fat boy was no better at this mind), he is a great shot stopper so he should be able to learn to come out you would hope, he has had a year and no better in these areas (maybe he is a bit slow on the up-take).

I don't see how a defense can be tired at the start of the season after 4 games, sorry I ain't buying it, it amazes me that when manages say these things, they must thing we have an IQ of 1, it is insulting really.

He needs to find his best back 4/5 (keeper) and stick to it, everyone knows that it is important in this area of the pitch to have a stable unit, doesn't matter so much in midfield/up front in my opinion. Back 4 of Bamba/Cooper (for me has more potential so give him a few games to see) Taylor/Berardi no question these are are best 2.

agree re attack, Wood/Ant/Dallas the cowboy pick themselves and midfield is perhaps the much harder one to call at the moment, esp when cook back as we do seem to have strong options here.

Think we will win tomorrow, just feel it, well as long as wootton doesn't play.

Well Sylvestri plays! I would have rested him personally. But I like a decisive manager who backs his players in public. I'm sure the cat will be aware of his cock ups, and hope he makes amends tomorrow

as a keeper myself (league and cup winner I might add) I have to stick up for keepers, one mistake stands out where as other places you get away with it (imagine a midfeilder hitting a 20 yard pass straight into touch) it happens a lot but you would never call for him to be dropped. I am massive fan of Slivestri that said mistakes can become habbit and in turnbull we have a very good alturnative. I would drop him and make a couple of extra sessions focsuing on this area, that said you never can replicate the pressure of goalkeeping in match bit like pentalties. Slivestri will come good. All round three draws is a little dissapointing but this is good. I would rather be dissapointed with three draws than happy (means we can do better). still got a very good feeling about this season MOT

Its a tough call. Silvestri is a top reaction keeper, Ross a solid commanding one. got to feel Silvestri earned a little grace period last season, he kept us in games and got us points when we had little right to at times. He has really only had one bad game (regardless of what people think of his style of play), no one would have stopped Vokes' effort (the defence should be dealing with that one) so the first two games Ross couldn't have done better. Every player is going to have off games and the defense should know he won't come for balls by now, they need to compensate and attack the ball a bit more when its in the air. Rosler needs to sit him down, sympathise with the mistakes but make it clear he needs to perform the next couple or Ross will come in.

Sorry Vidlufc but he should have learnt to walk by now (catch a ball). Rosler needs to be careful not to worship false idols as his predecessors ie. Warnock with Brown, McDermott with Hunt/Kebe/Stewart and Redfearn with Morison have proved unsuccessful with their pet projects.

Very true Notts. But I was referring to the team as a whole not just the cat. The whole team lost focus towards the end, you can't just blame him. Its all good and will get better, trust me, I am a doctor, well, I was in my last play! Happy Saturday
