a loan stiker / winger. is not nessesairily. the answer.
Brian has set us up to keep it tight and not conceed. goals
we have been fortunate to loose two games varny. and hunt are as good as anyone in this league both prem. in the last. few years.
we need skill and guile in the midfield. some one who can play the killer pass put there foot on the ball etc we only create a couple of chances a game no strike at this level scores every chance they get . we need a strachen!
Believable0
Unbelievable0
Sorry mate, but I have to disagree. There is no one ahead of the ball.So no matter how good the midfield is there is no pace forward or wide to pass it to. Hence no quick attack, no surprise or turning of the defence and ultimately NO goals.

a winger is exactly what we need to get down the wing and whip some crosses in . our strikers are good enough but I feel we could do with 1 more with quality

i think if we somehow bagged guidetti on loan then that changes things alot, doubt it will happen as brighton will probably pay wages that we wont
Believable0

We've had a much bigger budget than them this season and if you look they've had a huge reduction in transfer and wage budgets.

Given that we have put hall on loan I think we will sign one player on loan on wages no more than 15k brian did say its a one in one out policy. I doubt he would agree to getting rid of hall if there wasnt the promise of a potential loan signing

Lingard signed by Birmingham, Chalobah signed by Forest. Rumours that Albrighton is going to Derby and Gudetti to Brighton. FFS Leeds wake up or the best players are going to be snapped up
Believable0
Unbelievable0
I totally agree mate Albrighton and Gudetti could be the ones we are crying out for get them Mcd
Agree0

With Hall moving on, the wages have been freed up. Just need Pugh / Norris to leave and we will in a position to sign may be one or two, lesser known names.
Just bear in mind with the above, Albrighton and Guidetti are pon wages the probably exceed 15k. We are all aware that we are not in a posiition to offer anywhere near that. May be able to afford 1 if we lucky

Forest are also payin 25k a week to loan chalobah

I read an article online last night, highlighting 10 out-of-contract players who are available and yet to find a club. It included:
Chris Baird (get rid of Warnock/Drury)
Yossi Benayoun (creative spark?)
David Bentley (wing option?)
Carlton Cole (will score at this level, bye bye Hunt)
Jay Simpson (wing option?)
Craig Gordon (Paddy/lAshdown fine, but too old if we hit Prem?)
Obviously, they'd all probably have to take a massive drop in the wages their used to, but I'm sure they'd rather be getting paid than not at all.
It also mentioned Tom Hateley, William Gallas and Titus Bramble.
The other name was Ciprian Marica. I've never heard of him before, but his stats are decent from Bundesliga, although being used mainly as a substitute. Our level might suit him lovely!
Any thoughts?

How do you propose we get rid of Hunt, we've only just signed him. Give him a chance. Warnock is a good experienced player and we need him at left back. Far better than Chris Baird
Marica is wanted by Arsenal and West Ham so we have no chance

I think you've answered your own question jody
''Obviously, they'd all probably have to take a massive drop in the wages''
As much as I would like a couple of those at ER realistically its not going to happen.

Benayoun is the only one I would take, agree with other post about warnock, he's a top player especially at this level, vinny.

Im not to worried about defeat to reading as it could of gone either way, similar to the qpr one we lost. But can't help thinking that if gfh had been a little riskier in the market we could of been in the top two, maybe one or two on loan will improve our creativity as imo that's all were lacking. don't be too down over the reading game though they have some top quality players and we gave them a good game, especially away from home. 3 points on saturday for us, man mark ings and trippier. and the other 9 players they have will lose, whoever they are. MOT, Vinny. {Ed003's Note - Don't worry about league position atm,you've made a very good start in my eyes you won't know for a while whether you won 'easy' fixtures or lost 'hard' fixtures,the Championship is what it is as we all know,Trippier is the best full back in the league imo,i'll leave the posters to discuss the tactics of man marking him.}

Yeah your'e right about trippier although byram is up there for his age. Vinny.
