Just got back from the game devastated. NW is right players looked tired, so was surprised he didn't make more changes at half time Billy having 10 mins not really long enough. Don't know about anyone else but im surprised at the long ball tactic it was the only thing we had to offer. I'm sure we will bounce back boys but that hurt. Think were out of play offs so time to try other players maybe give NW time to rebuild and we will be sound MOT

I think he feels that the squad is poor and that he only has 11 or 12 players up to what he feels are good enough.. He would rather keep tired players on the pitch than use poor substitutes to replace them. Mass clearout in the summer.

Just read NW post match comments and hugely disappointed. "Not a night for rollickings." Why not? Also cant believe we are blaming tiredness. Forest have played same amount of games and they were clearly up for the fight. Too many overpaid, underperforming third rate players in our squad and time for a mass clearout.

Speaking on a different note after the poor result tonight; has anyone seen the membership renewal on the website??
early renewal £40... YES JUST £40..... subject to go up if you don't renew now.
I'm sure I only paid £30 last season (or season before) if thats the case thats a 33.3% increase, which is ridiculous.
Imagine how much it will be next season if we are in the playoffs or automatic promotion slots?
£60? £80? £100? £1000? £10000? It's just becoming too expensive.
Tickets are the same £32 for West stand against Carlise 07/08 - £38 for same seat today + a £1 extra for programme; What warrants such large increases.
I propose an increase to my cash flow from the government, (putting the minimum wage up 11p is not going to help)

Is this when the 'Bates out' chants start again just cos we lost a game? You call yourself supporters yet your all probably just gonna turn against the club just because of a bad result. A proper supporter supports their club through thick and thin unlike some of you that come on here and start crying and telling people to boycott games, jeez!

Has it not occurred to you that the real problem at Leeds wasn't Grayson, isn't Warnock, it's Bates? I've supported this team for most of my 50 years on this planet and always will but I want Bates out and I'm entitled to express my opinion. That opinion is based on several factors not just on team performance.
That doesn't make me a bad supporter; it just means I have a different view to you.
I do not believe my team will progress under Bates and, despite a less leaky defence before last night, I haven't seen anything to change my mind. Our results post Grayson have been no better in truth - a heroic defeat or draw (Southampton/West Ham) is still a defeat or draw. The table doesn't lie and we're getting further away all the time from the play offs.
I am concerned at some of the financial dealings with offshore companies and resultant secrecy. I do not like the way the club is being constantly brought into disrepute and under media and parliamentary scrutiny.
I am not a mindless kid. I'm a grown up with a functioning brain and my view is a considered one.
Don't be disrespectful towards other fans simply because they have a contrary view of the situation of your own.
Debate is healthy - mindless loyalty isn't.
Bates Out chants don't help the team but a few half decent (but in truth not great) results before last night doesn't really change anything.
And there were no Bates Out chants that I heard last night - didn't prevent one of the most truly awful performances I have ever witnessed.

How many times this season have the comments not fit to where the shirt been said after another awful performance. We are so lucky at present that the present championship is rubbish otherwise we would be bottom. Please forget the play-offs and just be grateful we have enough points to stay up.I would love to think that after this result it would be a massive wake up call.We need to BUY QUALITY not LOANS and NOT FREEBIES.This summer is massive for this great club we have to bring in signings of Quality but will it happen.Grayson has gone Warnock comes in we have signed two players 1.An old man out of favour at his parent club 2 a freeby has anything really changed.I feel sick after this result but if this is the kick up the ass Bates needs then i can stomach it .Lets hope there is a master plan for the summer.
Believable2
Unbelievable3
It was bad beyond belief but perhaps if we had just lost 2:1 - the truth would not have been as obvious to Warnock. That truth being that Leeds United is comprised of a ragtag army of freebies and has-beens who were never really going to win anything beyond survival at this level!

Listened to him on YR on the way home from the game..I think that he feels that there is only just a starting 11 that he feels are good enough within the squad. He commented that some of the starting 11 are tired, for the start of next season I would expect a mass exodus in the squad will happen.. The only problem being will money be spent to strengthen .

A lot will no doubt be said about tonight and 100% justified. We were lucky with other results going our way though.
Despite the shower we've just witnessed, there is 1 major positive we must take from it - it has shown Warnock (in dramatic fashion) what we lack and where the issues are - there will be a major clear out in the summer and can see a lot of new faces in the team. Warnock isn't the kind of person to accept performances like that and will no doubt give some real home truths. We have a major lack of any pace, the defence is appalling and in fairness to Warnock, no amount of great tactics will account for how dire some of our players are.
I for one would not want to go up this season, you look at the likes of Swansea and Norwich or any team promoted over the last few seasons who have managed to stay up, they have had a pretty good squad, added a few players but kept a core (QPR have proven mass changes don't work). We would get destroyed if we went up and clearly don't have buckets of cash to buy survival. This summers transfer window needs to be used wisely, the garbage shipped out quickly and some solid players with quality, pace and experience brought in
I know it's hard but chins up guys and lets give Warnock time to sort us out with HIS players and signings not someone else's MOT

Great post. All have faith in Neil warnock!
Agree2

In the summer the nettle has to be grasped and contracts terminated as we will have trouble shifting a lot of the rubbish at the club. Bromby, O'Brien, Kisnorbo, Connolly, Sam, Forssell, Vayrynen, Rachubka and Parker have all got to go. We need to sell White and possibly Snodgrass to release some funds and build a young hungry team whilst retaining the likes of Brown and Pugh to play in spells to add experience and backbone. For the rest of the season the likes of Nunez and Paynter need a run out and Gimpel, Poleon, Taylor's, Ions, and Thompson need blending into the first team and given a taste of action. We do not want to be involved in the play-offs as these would only paper over the obvious cracks. Warnock is not a man to cross and he will not accept performances like last night. He will publicly find some excuses for the team but I bet they never left that dressing room for over 90 minutes after the biggest session of bollockings and home truths they have ever experienced!

I'm glad we lost, it now means we don't have to worry about trying to scrape into the playoffs. instead Warnock can now start the process of rebuilding squad ready for next season.
I can't say that i'm happy about us loosing 7-3, but it clearly shows that our current squad is not good enough!
Come on Warnock bring in some decent players, keep the few quality players we have and get rid of Grayson's bargain bin signings.

I've just posted pretty much the same - if nothing else, Warnock has at least seen how poor we can be and address it in the short term with a view to a big clear out and influx in the summer.
Just heard him on the radio and he doesn't sound happy and sounds like the rest of the season will give him chance to have a look at a few people and see what they can do.
Finally, we're still only 5 points off the playoffs still! I'd prefer not to go up BUT if we can get into the playoffs it's a real money spinner and would help add to summer transfer funds
