well to all the doom merchant old BW told ya, under hock I call for sack after 8 mintes he did nothing before and was a joke with no clue. under monk we had bad 1st game but plan was in place, we still need to improve and get better and will have more bad results but plan is in place progression is under way and we are on the up. also wood last seeason top scorer and this seaosns top scorer always had faith in wood when many others scoffed. same faith in MC. is BW mad or the oricle. leeds champs league by 2020? read it here first. Birdcage will nurture Vieira and KP who I thought was unlucky not to start.
If we can offload Murphy and Diagonal man, resolve Taylor scenario one way or other, we will have a harmonious club filled with good players vying for first team action.
That was a lovely cross from Roofie right on to Lump's foot and the Sack is probably our best player right now.
Clean sheet which impresses me more away to Wednesday. Playoffs real possibility.

Not getting ahead of myself here but its the first time in a few years when I look at Leeds United team and feel we are strong in defence midfield and attacking players. I'm confident we will compete for a playoff place maybe an automatic promotion. Who knows what the great man Massimo will do if we are top six when transfer window opens in January maybe a 5/ 6 million player and a big push.

Great counter attack play today. Bridcutt solid, Sakho still a little raw, but ran himself ragged and the defence for the second game running were immense including a solid performance from Green. Most satisfying thing for me today was the work rate of Wood. Yup Chris Wood who I have knocked so far was fantastic. Ran for everything bossed their defence and left the odd boot in, but to top it off he never stopped and got another goal.

Antonsson is the key upfront his running behind players who are already under pressure from wood will create the chances to give us goals with bridcutt strengthening midfield and us being more sound at the back. We are in a solid position for playoffs. I have a feeling we are going to be a team for everyone else to fear.

Over the fecking moon with today's result. I did say I was taking that massive 7/ 2 and I did with 20 sheets. That's a lot of beers in 'spoons lads. I also said at the start of the season that let's not get too down when we lose a couple or get carried away when we win. We are basically a new team and will gel but not overnight. It seems a lot of people have been negative of late and hopefully this result will change opinion. So pleased for Gary Monk for justified team selections, Woody for scoring again although he will still no doubt get lambasted and Greeny for keeping a clean sheet. All this without our new defensive rock Jansson. Bring em all on (pints that is) , up the whites.

Ok, so Jansson in, means cb positions finally sorted. Starting should be Jansson and Bartley Coops first back up and Bamba emergencies.
My issue is is the moving on of Murphy/ Diagouraga to free up further deals or necessary after all the movement beforehand? If we have more room move them on and get Leon Osman. Pablo H has already shown what a genuine quality veteran midfielder can do and Osman could come in and do the same. We'd then look good with phillips, mowatt, bridcutt, osman, hernandez, vieira in cm. If grimes level doesn't improve quickly I'd look to terminate his loan asap because he doesn't add anything.

I'm not so sure. We've not been great so far, but Tuesday we defended well. Ayrling has been a good addition and we coped with tricky wingers from Fulham. It's goals we're struggling with. Hopefully Wood will take Lees out of the game, so Anttonson can get some space. He just needs to bag a couple and I think he'll come good. Saying that I only see one up front today and backs to the wall. I'm going to opt for a 0 -0.

I think the most important thing today is the way we play, Monk has got to show both MC and the fans that he is making progress and we are nearly there. He has to get them solid at the back, competing well in midfield and looking threatening up front. If we get steamrollered I worry about MC's patience, I think what Monk has done so far in shaping the team looks promising, but with the addition of Bridcutt and Pontus we must look like a team capable of challenging.
Think we might just edge it 2-1.
