just wondering, Zoltan Gera anyone? he is a playmaker type just what we need and is free to leave aswell. I think it would be a gamble but may pay off. Big let down is his age 34.
Think he would be a very good signing, still got 2 years in him at premier/championship level

Apologies if this is a stupid statement but if the transfer window doesn't open for another 30 days why are some supporters stating same old Leeds no signings yet? If the
only signings that we can do now are the free ones why
is everyone getting so uptight if the usual transfer
circus doesn't start for another 30 days?
Weve got an excellent manager and there is a whole bucket load of positivity around ER at the moment that I honestly believe BMD has created in a very short time.
Dont know about everyone else, but I will be at every Leeds home game next season, and I can't wait for it to start. Gents come on give the manager a chance before writing us off.
I get what u mean and agree with u in most aspects of it but just because the window is closed doesn't mean we can't sign anyone for a fee, we could agree a fee and personal terms THEN they would join when window opens. Take goeze from Dortmund he will be joining Bayern when it opens and plenty others will to just doesn't make them our player till it opens
You can sign players on pre-contract agreements before the transfer window officially opens (Neymar - Barca, Götze - Bayern or as a better example Pearce - Leeds) however they do not become a member of the squad until July 1st! However I agree with your point, most clubs would be unwilling to sell good players at all, but to sell them before the window even opens is unlikely unless a substantial offer is recieved (and we're Leeds so like that's gunna happen). Patience and a confidence in a certain Mr McDermott is needed. {Ed001's Note - you can do everything except transfer registration, so a player is ineligible for competitive games. They could possibly play in friendly matches until the registration is complete though, depending on agreement with the selling club.}
To add to the above who is to say that Leeds have not agreed any pre-contract deals. It could be beneficial for Leeds or the selling club to have a clause to not release that information.

It's starting to worry me the fact mcd keeps saying we have to be patience on the transfer front but when he first took over he said he wanted to get his signings in fast, is this a sign that gfh have no money so we have to wait for free signings or is it that gfh have set him a budget which he can't get the players he wants with

FFS why don't we stop the negative sihit about incomings until July, you never know we might get some good signings, then we can moan, groan, slag off or even possibly b POSERTIVE!
These are tense times for every club who want to make signings, if the player is in the shop window then it could be a number of clubs looking at him and you can't really blame the player for weighing up his options, be patient my friend, good things come to those who wait.
Why is everyone so worried with GFH and their finances. An owner who isn't prepared to spend money would not reduce ticket prices so that to get the same amount of money bates was making out of ticket sales they would have to average at least 31000 a week across the season. The only way this will happen is by SPENDING

Does anybody think jerome thomas would actually be a good signing?
I seem to be reading a lot of positive stuff about him comming from the media and the fans.

What do you lads think will be the new youngster to burst onto the scene apart from Dawson because most people would think that I think and hope its mowatt cause he looks strong and apparently a good eye for a pass that's just what we need.
