I didn't see or listen to the game yesterday as I was at work however I suspect that we lacked cutting edge up front. Those who are critical of Blackstock might start understanding how important a player like that is to the team. In the games I have watched Blackstock he is a good foil for McCormack as he does the hard graft up front i.e. chasing balls down the channels, being a target man whilst still being a goal threat due to his pace and positioning. These qualities get the best out of McCormack as he is given more freedom to find space within the penalty box. I feel that McCormack is comfortable with Blackstock as a partner because with strikers of less quality he tends to go deeper searching for the ball and becomes less of a goal threat. We may not be able to keep Blacktock beyond the loan period but it is clear that this is the type of player we need to get the best out of Ross

We missed Blackstock yesterday, but biggest problem was lack of pace/width. Peltier & Pugh both cut back in as cannot beat the fullback for pace. Difference between the two sides was Josh King who had pace and a trick or two.

We need to learn to defend and the forward will take care of themselves, wingers and creative midfielder required

Intersted to know what other fans want from January? For me it would be to clear out the dead wood, a striker who scores goals and a quality centre half.
Guidetti on loan from City for me and no idea for a centre half!

Hi All Fellow Leeds fans

What are your thoughts about the Red Bull rumour, it's got another mention in a small element of the press.

Have you heard anything ed?

Is it more wishful thinking than anything, interested in opinions.

Obviously it is just media speculation that it is them but considering they have been interested in buying english clubs and leeds for a long time and that they are " high profile" as GFH said then it is probably them.
I would welcome them with open arms. We are not going to get back to the top by having good support and hardworking players. We need investment. Red bull will give us that and will probably make some questionable decisions on the way. But they would fund our way to the top.

I'm not interested in wasting money on loan signings. I'd rather we saved the cash, cleared the decks of some of those with no future at Leeds and brought in 1 or 2 players who can add to the team long term.

Leeds being a finishing school for Premier League players from teams who we should consider our rivals is NOT what I want for my club.

I'm getting very frustrated with this cry for loanees by BMD and Co.

We are better than this.

We need to rebuild. Clear the dead wood and buy one or two rising stars in positions we are lacking AKA out WIDE.

A few of the last few posts got me thinking our club as a whole is finally due a bit of good fortune we've been through some rough times in the last 8 years not being able to keep our star players couldn't buy a million pound player even because of scanty bates and its left us fans wary bout anything happening at the club even now financially. still a bit of mistrust by the fans which I wouldn't blame them to be honest bates has us crippled to the point that we trust no one until someone shows the cash for transfers.
Well here's what I think Maybe just maybe our luck has finally turned and finally get some proper cash flow for players and then the trust in our new owners is 100% not saying i'm not happy because just look at what they have achieved for our club thus far in a short space of time! you know what I don't care how much brian is given in january as long as he has one or two of his targets got but i'm going to think small money then anything more well its a bonus
we'll be rolling back the years b4 we know even after yesterdays loss still feels great being a leeds could go on about positives all day but would take all day! MOT peace out

It's all over the news today that red bull are looking to buy the club. IMO I think that's just hype but what are peoples thoughts on Elland road becoming the red bull stadium if it did happen?

I don't particularly like the idea of being joined with Red Bull but I think the world wide popularity of Red Bull will increase our fan base and lead to long term financial security.
