Just my opinion. And I know all will have one. As everyone has said that person is not part if Leeds the football club FACT but just my opinion Dave Jones should apologise because he said all Leeds fans Should be banned. Stupid coment you should not have done the interview the fact people from Leeds where calling you a pedo is nothing to do with football same as your fans were calling walnock a fu:;ing wan::r he should know he gets it all the time. Like he said 14 years. You wont change it. I didnt hear wornock complin. I am not condoning the thug Leeds fan in any way but dave you really are a fool for doing n saying that. Shame in you

Ok Dave Jones goes on about what Leeds fans were chanting,what about his own fans and the Istanbul s--t is there room in football for that no,Dave get your own house in order before you spout on about ours,I don't agree with what that fan did but that's one fan,as for the chanting as I said Jones must think its ok to disrespect the memory of 2 Leeds fans who lost there life's so tragically cos he was applauding them,I suppose though if we were milwall would it be all over the Tele no,remember the play off semi final at the new den and the incident with our keeper have we heard anything about that no.

I think every Leeds fan has a duty and responsibility to ID this guy quickly without delay. He's not what we need or desire and simply illustrates the moronic and thick minded to$$ers who believe that this is acceptable in any shape or form. Its nothing I want to be associated with and neither does any investor... For all those who smiled and patted him on the back as he returned... You complete half wits.... You have a club card or season ticket and probably voice comment about who runs the club and how bad we play and yet laugh and celebrate this ? 'No morals, no integrity'.... {Ed013's Note - he is all over Twit}

Tonight I am ashamed to be a Leeds Fan, That person who assaulted Chris Kirkland has done untold damage to this great club with possible points deduction, investors not wanting to be associated with such vile people, fans been banned from away games and all the bad press that we will get from now on. I wouldn't be surprised if the FA do everything in it's power to prevent us reaching the premier league.

I hope it isn't long before this pleb is identified and hopefully receives the full force of the law.

Angry and embarrassed 77 {Ed003's Note - Pleb? that can get you in trouble mate, one guy has already lost his job today because of that ;) }

On my way back through Dubai from India and just seen the incident on the news. To the "big" man that went on the pitch. Well done you tool. Can't wait for lust to tell me how bates screwed up the takeover. We actually don't deserve anything or anyone! This has been brewing for months with the endless negativity and now some clowns decide throwing bottles and invading the pitch is the answer.

Mister cooper and co.. You've been telling us for weeks how your staying away from ER and only going to aways as the true hard core Leeds. All happy now? The clubs being killed day by day and it ain't bates doing it. Maybe Gary you'll also come forward and make a statement, however embarrassing it'll be.

Writing this as a totally fed up Leeds fan of 40 years. I personally want to see a team and supporters that make me proud and not the scenes I've just seen.

Time to take a step back and reflect Leeds fans.

19 Oct 2012 22:28:53
ed.. please post this as im sure i echo the thaughts of a lot of leeds fans here.. NOWHERE in the game is there room for mindless persons that bring the name of a club into disrepute, and drag the clubs name through the mud as the completely discraceful fool that took away the joy and elation i and all leeds fans felt when tongy equalised tonight like ONE INDIVIDUL DID... I am leeds to the bone and never could I ever imagine my weekends without the mighty whites and match days... BUT.. listening to Dave Jones comments after the game saying ALL leeds fans should be barred from every away ground in the country because 1 person did the unforgivable, and leeds fans giving jones stick for a " false rumour..."leeds4life Daz {Ed003's Note - look I'm just covering for 0013,he went to the game and texted me about such chants so that is something I'm going to have to leave him to deal with Daz, Dave Jones didn't say all Leeds fans he said 'all of them' meaning the ones that were chanting stuff at him who were at the game and quiet righly so, just as the chants from the Massive were out of order aswell(I never heard them) It is about time this shite was sorted,folk slag happy clapping off but it is far better than moronic chanting,there are plenty about and it needs sorting}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Sorry ed I disagree. He said all Leeds fans, when the interviewer said how one fan does not reflect the supporters his next sentence was to say ALL Leeds fans should be banned from away games.

Rh

Agree5 Disagree0

Owls boss Dave Jones called for Leeds fans to be banned from away grounds.

"They should be banned from every away ground now," said Jones, who was taunted by visiting fans' chants during the game.

"They are vile animals. You talk about racism, the chanting, that's a form of racism. And then [for the Leeds players] to go and wave at them... not in my book. You don't wave at them after that.

That doesn't reflect your comments above ed. {Ed003's Note - He was replying to a q when the sly interviewer said 'All Leeds' fans and replied like you say with 'they' as in the ones who were there and chanting. Thanks for clearing that up Mark.}

Agree2 Disagree0

He did say all Leeds fans, but you can understand his feelings.I imagine if the boot was on the other foot!

Agree3 Disagree2

I think the guy who did this was a right wan&&er and cant believe that we have guys like this...so called supporting us ? Did us absoloutely no favours. But my beef is where were the security behind the goal which allowed this ? 5-6 were able to run on without restriction. A high pressure derby match and the same Police in the news for all the wrong reasons allowed lack security procedures again.... 'Shameful'

I have a six year old boy who I was going to take to the Birmingham game, his first Leeds game and is so excited. After seeing that tonight, we won't be going, I don't want him watching anything like that. Complete and utter person who spoils things for everyone!

Believable5 Unbelievable5

Hi mate pls dnt let this person spoil ur boys day out we are not all like him and pls take him i took my son when he was six and been going ever since we need great supporters and u and ur son are !! mot

Agree5 Disagree0

Don't be put off by that. Been to plenty leeds matches and that's never happened before to that extent. Don't miss out because of one person!

Agree4 Disagree0

If he is looking forward to going then take him. Why should one personic person who will not be at the next game spoil your boys big day? We are not all the same. I will be there with my son, Dad and Uncle. We will not be put off

Believable5 Unbelievable14

Jog on sunshine. We are all ashamed of what one person has done. As a fellow Football fan, how would you feel to be marginalised by the actions of a minority who are a disgrace to our club, the fans and our city. I stand proud as a Leeds fan and apologise not only to Chris Kirkland, Dave Jones and Sheffield Wednesday bit to all football fans who will be effected by this moron.

Agree12 Disagree0

Thanks for ur comments yes ur right he was a discrace but if u bothered to go to wednesdys site u will see how many true leeds fans care and said sorry !!

Agree3 Disagree0

Come on....get off your high horse. You mean your fans dont sing sensitive chants or engage in similar vocals. Did you not hear the Galatassary chants by Wednesday fans ? Dont condone the people going onto the pitch but question.....Where were the security or Police ? Someone allowed this to happen as it always does. Dont start trying to shaft all Leeds fans for this.

This is the first time in a long time I can honestly say I am embarassed to be a Leeds fan thanks to that complete and utter K**B Head, not to mention the other fans who ran onto the pitch! I'm sure no Wednsday fans will see this but as a Leeds united fan I would like to apologise to Kirkland and Sheffield Wednesday for the actions of a minority tonight! There is no place for that sort of behaviour in any walk of life, never mind on a football pitch! With regards the football, I thought a shocking performance, I have no idea what our tactics where other than try and kick the hell out of them, but hell of a goal from Mr Tongue and a good point!

Believable2 Unbelievable3

All the Leeds haters will be out in force now calling for massive fines and God knows what else,the mindless tw-t who did it needs to be caught and banned for life,moron seems appropriate in his case.

Agree5 Disagree0

Ive been on wednesdays banter page loads of us saying sorry WE ARE LEEDS and big enough to say it mot

Agree5 Disagree0

Original poster here! I agree the pillock needs to but locked up and banned for life! Also as much of a concern if reports ive read are true that a selection of Leeds fans were chanting positive things about a certain ex DJ from Leeds than that is equally disturbing and a complete disgrace! This really is a sad day for our great club and I hope serious punishment is handed out!

what an absolute cu^t. For leeds fans like me that cant afford a ticket to games, to be represented by people like this is a disgrace. I dont care if it was just a rush of blood or he's an outright thug, his actions were disgusting. I hope the guy gets banned from football and serves time. Once again the tiny minded persons like him make Leeds fans look stupid.

Believable11 Unbelievable1

Get ready for a Leeds points deduction from the FA. What an absolute disgrace that fool is. He's not a Leeds fan, and all the fans who patted him on the back as he ran into the crowd should be ashamed. He should have been dragged to the nearest Police officer. I have a two year old son, who as a season ticket holder I want to take to games in the future. Would i let him mix with that group of animals, no way. If you want to fight and act like a person then go support somebody else or do something else with your spare time, your not Leeds United. We support the team, by encouragement and vocal backing, not by violence.......very sad and angry Leeds fan.

Believable8 Unbelievable0

Latest suggestion is we may get relegated and not just one division. They have been waiting to make an example of us for years and this geezer has ensured they have the chance. Everyone will jump on bandwagon and put the boot. Him and his mates need to have a good look at them selves. leeds fans are rightly ashamed of this and will cost us numbers at gate.

I've just posted that that person should be identified and banned. To tell you the truth I'm embarassed about micheal brown he has been disgusting all night, I hope green and Norris stay fit and Austin recovers. Brown should never pull on a leeds shirt again. The midfield haven't picked the ball up from the back four once, not once, all night. That's bravery, being willing to help your team out in tight situations, not leaving your foot in or bringing your trailing leg through on every single challenge. He is completely anti football and I am ashamed that he is a leeds player all most as much as I am that that jumped up little c**t who couldn't knock out a wa*nk let alone a professional footballer calls himself a leeds fan.

After seeing what has just happened
to the Sheffield Wednesday goalie I
don't really want to watch the end
of this match. Appalling just
appalling. {Ed003's Note - I thought the tactics of cheating and assault on the pitch was bad enough but that was truly shocking!!!!!}

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Just hearing the Leeds statement - good that they got it out straight away.

Agree5 Disagree0

Yes but, if you like, that is part and parcel
of a derby match. What happened to Chris Kirkland is nothing to do with a derby match. {Ed003's Note - You seem to be have been brainwashed by Colin!}

Agree0 Disagree0

Hard challenges is what we should see in a derby game not intentional fouling . i think warnock got todays team and tactics wrong but atleast we got a point and thats all that matters

Anyone think that NW is playing Ryan Hall down to try and get the best out of him? NW wouldn't sign him if he didn't think he could make it at championship level, I think he's trying to get him to play on top form and prove hes quality to the masses. Hall is apparently lazy in training, so maybe NW is using the tactic to get him to work harder off the pitch, instead of doing a Diouf (i.e. Only bothers for matches). Also It gives Hall a distraction to avoid him getting in to trouble.

i wonder what warnock saw in Hall what he didn't in rogers? i was looking forward to see what rogers could do this season

Believable15 Unbelievable0

Rodgers looked lightweight, just like Nunez. Hall has more experience in the english leagues so knows about the physical aspect of the game. just a guess.

Warnock probably saw pace, 14 goals and 25 assists....still I agree would have liked to see more of Rodgers. Although we haven't heard anything about him at Stevenage, unlike Poleon and Thompson at Bury.

Leeds have committed more fouls (145) and mounted fewer goal attempts (86) than any other club in the division.

I for one am strangely proud of holding the highest foul count, as it shows our players are very committed and obviously try to make more tackles than any other team. Despite only having 86 attempts on goal this season, we obviously take our chances quite well, and are lying 7th in the championship before the Wednesday game. Bright future for us this season I think.

just thought I'd have a vote who's your best ever Leeds striker?

Believable0 Unbelievable5

Billy"Barn Door" Paynter!lol no iwill go with allan clarke!KEA

Agree2 Disagree0

I'll start with Yeboah

Agree12 Disagree0

Im old enough to remember Alan "sniffer" Clarke and am tempted to say him but i also loved to watch Tony Yeboah who scorec 2 of the best goals ive ever seen

Agree6 Disagree0

Obviously its gotta be Barn Door Billy :-P

Agree1 Disagree0

Sniffer

Agree2 Disagree0

Not the best technically with his ball to feet by a long way lol... but Lee Chapman would throw himself through a brick wall to head a goal. He gets my vote.

Remember the cinder track at White Hart Lane anyone?

Agree6 Disagree1

John charles or allan clarke

Agree2 Disagree0

Lee Chapmans 1992 season.

Agree4 Disagree1

How about jimmy flloyd ?

Agree2 Disagree1

Sniffer was great, but I think Lee Chapman is up there with the best.

Fredh

Agree2 Disagree0

Chapman for me, 92 season!!

Agree1 Disagree0

Viduka by far. Viduke brought players into the game and had an incredible touch with a composed finish. Next Jimmy Floyd and in a average team yeboah.

Agree1 Disagree2

Clive wijnnhard anybody? {Ed013's Note - Enoch Showumni!}

Agree1 Disagree0

I'd have to say Clarke but yeboah for the short time he was there made the biggest impact wish we could have had him longer

Agree1 Disagree1

I am too young to remember the likes of Allan Clarke and even Lee Chapman/Tony Yeboah... i can only remember from 2011/12 when i was 12... so i would have to say someone like Viduka/Becchio!

L3EDS

Agree0 Disagree1

Big Tresor Kandol {Ed020's Note - kandol - beckford, awesome partnership in the first league one season}

Agree2 Disagree1

Ian Baird or. Bobby Davison my boyhood
Heroes!

Agree1 Disagree1

Not the best but an honourable mention to Michael Bridges until injury struck him down

Crmd

Agree1 Disagree0

I'd have to go for John Charles - but Carl Shutt hmmm i remember in the Nou Camp

Agree2 Disagree0

Chappers

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi, all good calls, but for me the unsung guy who is Mick Jones, although I also think Rod Wallace was pretty good as well.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm with the Alan Clarke camp, but he would have been nowhere without Mi, Mic, Mick, Mick Jones who scored a fair few himself, overhead kick against the 5-1.

Agree0 Disagree0

Surely it must be John Charles. I remember Jimmy Greaves saying that he was easily the best centre forward he had ever seen According to my late Dad, he was the greatest centre half as well.

Redbird

Agree1 Disagree0

For me yeboah.may be better before him but he gave me so much excitement when I went to a game.i loved it when he was in the team..shrew Leeds

Agree0 Disagree0

T brolin
t wright
s balcombe
g mccluskey
d parlane {Ed013's Note - Liam Dickinson}

Agree0 Disagree0

GOT TO BE VIDUKA - remember Liverpool 3 (Leeds) Viduka 4, what a game that was. The man was pure class.
Yeboah is also a good call, but it is difficult to pick as we've had many class strikers over the decades
Wonder if anyone will say BRIAN DEANE!

Agree0 Disagree0

Definitly michael ricketts in my view

Agree0 Disagree0

I went for Sniffer Clarke earlier, but the lads who mention Yeboah, Haisselbaink and Chappie are bang-on too. Too young to have seen John Charles, but many say he was among the greatest. It's been ok being Leeds hasn't it? PK

Agree0 Disagree0

Lorimer was very exciting too. I mean: deadly! PK
