I didn't get to see the match but the 2 players that have been talked about easy to tell apart goulon is a realy big strong lad and mendy is a lot skinnyer so if u saw the match let us know which 1 if either it was

Looking at tonights line up, a mixture of last seasons squad, a few who we sent out on loan last season and a trio of trialists, not exactly firing the bellies of hardened Leeds supporters, i hope this is not as good as it gets because its going to be one tough season.

Just because a club signs a player doesn't necessarily mean he's any good. You lot really don't listen do you? Grayson's said all along he doesn't sign players just for the sake of it. Get a life.

Which translated means "Ken won't give me any money to spend on decent players so I've got to scrape the bottom of the barrel for past its, never made its and released by foreign and 2nd Division club players. I just have to toe the line and do what Ken tells me and say we don't conduct our business in public or sign players for the sake of it otherwise he'll sack me".

Hopefully the old git will pop his clogs soon and we can attract some decent investment. Until then forget the Premier League I am afraid.

Just seen an interview with Simon Grayson on LUTV by the way he was talking about waiting for the right players to become available for Leeds to sign, players that won't just add numbers to the squad but players who will come in and improve the squad and how frustrating it has been loosing targets to other teams namely two players that we wanted that went to premier clubs, and how Lee Bowyer was close to coming back to Leeds but decided to go to Ipswich because of geographical reasons, and how much easier it is to get the players when you have money like Leicester, all in all I don't really think we have any chance next year we just have not got the ambition on the board to make the money available for Grayson to get the players he wants, so I would not hold my breath for any major signings, watch it yourself see what you think but I think we have no chance under this regime.

I've seen it but what really worried me was the way he seemed to be resigned to losing Gradel without even trying to keep him. His tone appeared to be " with the Bosman Ruling if someone wants to go they can go and there is nothing we can do to stop them" Seems like he's off to me but I hope not.

Bet everyone thought that last year n we ended up 7th stop been so negative Blackpool hardly spent anything when they went up av abit ov faith what ever happens il still be cheerin the lads on nxt season home n away

Yea the above is right, I can't think of many teams that have spent loads on well know "quality" signings and been promoted to championship. Blackpool, hull, QPR, Swansea and the like all had sides equal to if not below the Leeds side as it is. Players have no allegiance, SG knows that. If a players head gets turned they go, it's a career for them.

As long as the fans are there that's what counts. Let's be a 12th man again home and away

Just heard SG now offering free lolipops for life to anyone under the age of 30 who will sign for Leeds. No seriously, all the rumours not coming true makes me think what my dog heard on the park from a terrier this morning that Vinny Beagle and John Barker would join Leeds on a free transfer isn't true either. More true than some rumours especially if their leads got tangled. (they would definately be LEEDS UNITED)

I know I'm picking at scraps but I just wanna see some transfer activity at Elland Road. I'm sure Grayson and Bates are the right people for the job. But would love to see a

I can see Birmingham doing a "Leeds" this season. Relegated, financial disarray, loosing all their players and managerless....... All the makings of situation we found ourselves in

it's been nearly 2 weeks since simon grayson has
bought michael brown. But till today we do not have
the players we want. We still need a LB, CM, Goalie,
CB, Forward ( since Somma injured, Becchio injured).
We have roughly about 2 more weeks before the new
season starts.Simon Grayson is trying to bring in the players but Bates got to give him the money to bring
in quality players.Look at Leicester.We still need 5 more quality players to strenghten the team or we
will never get the promotion we want. Looking at the
players we have now, I do not think we stand a chance even in the playoffs. We should not have sell
Kasper when we did not have a replacement for him.
In Grayson we trust. LEEDS , LEEDS, LEEDS. Up Leeds.

I'm sick of checking , this site, official site and yorkshire evening post 10 times a day, every day for the desperate hope of hearing a finalized deal with someone.
I have had faith but the anger is beginning to form - this is a f***ing joke

So damaging to us, who is gonna come to Leeds when they see no investment, no signings. This is a disgrace - combine last Jan and this summer, its ridiculous - a 34 year old, who altho is experienced can only possibly do it for one season, a 2nd choice keeper and yet schmeichel out, kilkenny out, johnson out - it's not good folks We will also lose Grayson no doubt

As for Johnson and Kilkenny I'm glad they've gone. Kilkenny good passer of the ball, but seemed a bit of a #### to me, some of his body language off the ball, tantrums at other players - thinks he's summat when he ain't, Johnson, good, strong, attacking midfielder, but not good enough if we ever want to do anything and progress. Losing both them two will leave spaces for superstars to be Mr Howson, Mr Nunez and Mr Clayton And I hope to god Mr Smith

SG, KB, Stockdale, a fulham lawyer and the player's agent will have lunch at McDonalds opposite ER tomorrow to finalise the deal. A one year loan with a recall option only to be potentially invoked in January window. Good signing, at last a keeper. {Ed032's Note - what time?

The trouble with all this is that our transfer window activity is now taking on the characteristics of the famous food itself....a bit soggy, usually disappointing, doesn't really plug the hole as much as you'd like it to and above all, not as fast as you would like it to be.
