Just seen leicester are now ranked 20th richest club in the world? Weird but. Am i dense. How did that happen? How much did they get for winning prem? In like prize money?

I remember reading an article last year saying Newcastle are a richer club than Athletico Madrid. There's a couple of sheckles and groats floating around in the prem.

TV money in the PL is £130m a season just from domestic, throw in China and North America it's probably closer to £200m a season. In La Liga, Barcelona and RM get all the money, while the likes of Sevilla and Atletico Madrid etc. get about 40m Euros only, so lower PL clubs have more money than top European clubs.

we should be richest club in the world then as we are always on sky. having sky sports is better than having a season ticket at the moment as every game is on sky home and away and then bt sport for cups, we are not famous anymore!

Nothings better than a season ticket to LUFC. Not much atmosphere watching sky surrounded by wall fans. Next best thing for you guys who can't get here.

I think delph would be a good buy! Apart from fact we have a good starting line up now, he must be the type of quality we want to add for the big push. No point buying players that will prob sit on bench as we got enough of them. We want 2-3 that will prob make the starting 11 within 2-4 weeks. There ends steves wisdom of today. Fear not though. I will be back tomorrow with more!

Buy Delph ? Think it would be more likely a loan (if at all) . Quality brought in needs to have the ability to make the starting line up but should be content with being backup. We got to this position with the current team therefore no need to disrupt it during the Jan window. Should be looking for a backup to Wood, a left winger and possibly cover at centre back although Ayling did a good job against Derby

Think we just need some one who scores goals not bothered if he is a striker left wing right wing cb. we need a player who can bag 10 or more goals to end of season. That with Woods input will take us up. Am happy with squad overall but imo need to be scoring more. We get chances but miss a lot as well.

Agree. Bartley although a defender missed 3 sitters last week. Not complainig i'd rather him be better at defenfing than scoring. We should have had minimum 6 agsinst them
We should get more from roofe soon. And hernandez. Just wood needs to be pressured because if he is fit he plays. He misses bus loads. Even my wife watching brighyon game said to me. Is he a footballer? I said. He scores goals.

most strikers at this level miss a fair number of chances though. Beckford used to need about 10 chances for every goal and we all loved him. Getting into the right position to get the chances is half the battle for a striker and there are a fair few in the league that don't get the opportunities that Woody does because they aren't good enough - we should be grateful for what we have.

Circa £10 million (at least) and probably on about £80000 a week. I think buying Delph is not an option for us at the moment
