Why is everyone moaning about the result?
We played the european champions who fielded a very strong team. The likes of hazard, moses, mata and torres scoring against us.
Thats just simply being ouclassed. But we are a championship side.
If you were expecting to beat them you must be slightly dim.
Great atmosphere, good crowd, good effort from the players.
We lost aginst a good side, unlucky, lets look forwar to saturday.

Cant believe some of the comments below about tonight vs Chelsea. The team they put out would be a match for any premiership team. Class told in the end, we did match them first half but the way they were getting shots on our goal you could see it coming. The early 2nd half goal knocked the stuffing out of us and the second so soon after meant we were chasing it. Warnock made the substitutions to try get something back, didnt happen.
They deserved their win, we give them a game, well done Leeds United, we went out to the probable cup winners. No point whining about it fans, its promotion we are aiming for. MOT

OP, one thing I didnt mention that did piss me right off, the amount fans that headed for the gates after Chelsea scored their third was shocking.
Show your support, the boys played some great football against the European Champions. I was proud to watch that last night, keep it up and we'll be where we need to be come May...MOT

the early goal in 2nd half give chelsea a big confidence boost ,i think things would of been alot tighter had we of got past the first 10-15 mins of 2nd half without conceding .at least we give it ago .concentrate on league now .M.O.T

I dont understand y NW thinks Peltier is captain material for me he's no more than a fringe player!
There's players far more suitable to role i.e Lees and Becchio, at least they give it a go for the team.
Which is what i think a captain is being about "leading by example"!
Also think NW got his tactics wrong tonight. we should of played for extra time or even pens and used the fact that Chelsea have travelled a lot recently and were probably a little fatigued.
However we chose to go for the win when we was 1-0 up after half time and should of shut up shop simple as that.
However saying all that i still think NW is the man for the job and i know that he has what it takes to make sure LUFC are back were they belong! MOT

Ashdown had a good game.....not sure what game the op was watching. I thought 4 or 5 top saves.
First half was great, the lads played well. If we played against the other championship sides the way we played in the first half we would win a lot of games.

1) tonge is rubbish and we shouldnt sign him permanently.
2) Defence is shocking still, its amazing how much we miss tate!

typical of this Leeds team, no fight when backs are against it. losing is fine but not in this manner. Warnock did well to notice Pearce was the defensive weak link, shame Tate couldn't play tonight.

We will win tonight if we repeat the Everton performance. Straight at them and with confidence brought on by there being absolutely nothing to lose. They will not like it 'up them' on a wet and windy Yorkshire night with 30,000 of us screaming at every opportunity.

Robbie Savage is coming out of retirement to sign a 3 year contract with Leeds. He'll play the rest of this season and then take over as manager when Warnock retires.
Its more believable then the Smith rumour, lol.
Robbie Savage of 2-3 years ago would have been a great signing for us though :)

SOOO Gary cooper can't run a business that a/ makes a profit or b/ stays afloat.

However I am a successful businessman making a profit year on year for 15 years. I understand how a business has good and bad times and that books need balancing. I understand its easy to spend other people's money but its different when it's ours.
Nearly everyone has some motivation by money- that's why our loyal players leave-the money they could be on turns heads, it's a short career!
If I had bought leeds and put time an effort in I would expect a return- that my friend is natural.
If Cooper was a font of knowledge he would have not bailed out his brothers business then gone under- thank god he didn't have the money to buy leeds!

In my opinion.
I think that Gradel, Thomas OR Adomah woiuld be great additions to the squad (obviously not all 3 but maybe 2 on either of the wings.) & Fraizer Campbell or Nahki Wells would be great additions to our forward line adding great pace & finishing.
Hopefully we will get 1 or 2 of these but i don't know. I hope so! MOT
