Leeds look set to sign emile heskey at the end of the season on 2year contract. This is speculation at the moment but I think heskey would be class in the championship. Lacy. Leeds

Heard he going back to Leicester

Heskey couldn't even make it in the under 9's league. He'd still manage to head it badly even with no one around him.
I'd Rather sign Kevin Phillips, Old but knows where the net is, unlike Heskey.

Every close season he's brought up!

I would rather we had a "homemade pot of chutney" up front rather than Heskey.

Heskey was once put clean through one on one with the keeper 20 yds out. Just prior to the pass heskeys team mate had been fouled but the ref blew when it went to heskey who was clean through. The team mate was furious and asked the ref why he blew and he said that when the ball went to heskey he did not see it as an advantage and blew for the foul!!!!

Id rather have a chocolate fireguard, be better off with one

Don't worry your self he said he would never play for Leeds, cos the fans are the most rasist in England.he said this when we tried to pay 9 million for him,when he went to Liverpool.thank god for that

I have been reading comments on this site for months and I am getting a little tierd of all the Bates and Warnock cynics!
Firstly - Bates, yes he's not spent massive amounts, but look what he's done for us, we are stable and not in debt anymore. Also he took on Chelsea when they were on the brink of going out of buisness and turned them into a massive club again.
Secondly - Warnock, He knows what he is doing! I personally put a bet on him to be our boss the day he left QPR, when we still had SG. I was happiest i've been about LUFC since the semi of the CL when he took over!
I trust him to turn it around!

All these people who talk about the dip in form since he took over need to think beofre they speak!
The players aren't good enough and if they don't have the ability or the passion to succeed then its a loosing battle from the start.

I am not saying promotion is a certainty, but I am very optimistic about next season!

Believe and trust in Warnock and Bates they aren't idiots!

Chelsea were hours away from going bust, before Abramovich came in to buy the club, spent it all on Hotel and apartments!

Please lets not kid ourseves, the only way Bates got us debt free was by putting us into administration, not by some brilliant business dealings (unless that was his plan originally). Any of the Chairman we had from Personality Pete onwards could have done that with the same results.

Any of the chairman could've done the same - yet they didn't. Let's see how schrewd he is over the summer, now Bates has a manager that he wants and respect, Bates might just be willing to spend a bit more than he has done previously.

Well he will have to do some thing, because the team we have at the moment will struggle to stop up next year, let alone push for promotion,Bates will have to spend money he has no choice.

Bit of a shock that he wasn't training at thorpe arch...

Who would you keep at the club if you were Boss?

For me, 12 maybe 13 players will stay. The rest will go.

Lonergan for me with a good defence infront of him will do just fine.
Tom Lees has potential, I think with a few a few experienced heads around him he will be better next season, we forget this is his first full seasoon for leeds, Feels like hes been around for ages.
Adam Clayton, Robert Snodgrass are Key Midfield players, Robbie rogers and Ramon Nunez are ones that need to be given a chance in preseason to impress.
Danny Pugh is an experienced pro with plenty left in him. He is a strong utility player and great to have in the squad and team.
Zac Thompson and Charlie Taylor are ones for the future and both if not loaned out will be in and around the team.
Luciano Becchio, Ross McCormack are the main strikeforce at the club. Davide Somma showed great potential last season forcing his way into the South Africa squad but will need to show preseason if he can still do it after his bad injury.
I wouldnt keep anyone else at the club. Aiden White has potential, but if he doesnt sign a new contract we wouldnt miss him this moment in time.

I heard that O'dea is staying and Lees will play at Right Back.

We need a strong leader who is very physical.

Would like to see monty gimple in the frame now no harm in bringing in a few youth players cant hurt to be honest cos we do have a talented academy and spend 3 or 4 mil on players! freebees and pay good wages to attract some decent talent really hope we have a go next season gonna be right pissed off otherwise!! irish leeds fan!

Lees is not and will never be a right back hes too slow in that position, id rather see us sign one then have him as cover IF needed, hes better off at CB

I think lees and maybe odea have a future, rogers needs time to prove himself....nunez is lightweight imo when compared to the likes of gradle, he isn't going to make use dangerous up front.

Wouldn't mind kenny in the goal with Robinson at lb , bamba and hill at cb with a new rb. Clayton snoddy and 2 new mids 1 with pace for wing and a cm and 1-2 strikers
