Team to start next game-same team that started tonight and that will start next 30 as grayson has no clue and hates change. Should have left howson in league 1

Believable3 Unbelievable4

Does that mean Rachubka will start the next 30 games? NO he wont and stop talking B*llucks

Agree1 Disagree0

On the back of a run that's seen us win 4 and draw 2 of our last 6 league games, I'd say starting with the same lineup where possible, wouldn't be a bad idea.

Loose the negative talk people, we're 3 points off second place with a game in hand. Lots of positives to draw from the season so far.

Agree1 Disagree1

Grayson is not the best manager for changing things technically and no one can deny that, but he has developped a great drive and determination in his players and developed good team chemistry

Moan time;
21 shots at goal 1 scored
coventry 2 shots at goal 1 scored what does that say !!!
McCormak missed a sitter he cost us
were back to square one

Believable3 Unbelievable5

21 attempts? Were you watching something all us leeds fans were not?

Agree3 Disagree1

Another idiot! 21 attempts are you stupid? I know we should have won tonight but at the end of the day win our game in hand and we are joint 2nd, so stop your negative comments and get behind our team! P.s think snodders had a cracking game take a bow son

Agree3 Disagree4

How do you expect us to win our game in hand, when we can't even beat coventry at home with 90% possesion ?? Gj

Agree1 Disagree1

Gj, all you are is negative everytime you come on here! The day you say something positive i'll eat my hat!

Agree1 Disagree0

Wat cost us was rachubkas mistake but we had chances to put many more past murphy and should have taken them

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope your hat is edible lol

Agree0 Disagree0

How many of last nights team would go up another level ? Not many !

Agree0 Disagree0

Mistake by the keeper these things happen in football stop hittin the panic button we were 30 seconds from winning the game

To all those posters who say 'where are the moaners', when they express reasonable concerns about the team- defending, failing to be professional and see games out etc, where are all the 'the future's bright, the future's white' crowd?

We are looking a lot better but why do we have this tendancy to make life difficult for ourselves?

Believable2 Unbelievable1

We just need a manager who is not afraid to drop players who are not performing and who can actually sort the defence out. Lack of professionalism let us down tonight.

Agree6 Disagree1

We need a new defence too

Agree2 Disagree3

The defence were solid last night, just one costly error let us down

Agree1 Disagree0

The defence is sorted...the keeper made a bad mistake.....our problem now is lack of adequate cover for the first XI especially defensively....id like to see varynen given a start instead of howson to fill in the DMC role and let clayton get forward more

Eddie Gray thinks we play better away from home. i.e. away from idiotic "fans" who do nothing but complain.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Aah, now there you have it, those are the REAL LEEDS supporters, not the Bates knockers........

Well said Ken !

What was Coventry's goal like? heard it mentioned Rachubka's made a mistake.

Really unprofessional. we make it hard for ourselves. Just when we look like we can put a run together, we shoot ourselves in the foot. Unprofessional. I do think tonight might have been a good time to utilise the squad and freshen it up. Should have brought Becchio and Varynen for Keogh and Howson. I know Keogh has been good, but Coventry at home would have been the sort of game to ease Lucciano back in..... if we cant use the squad and get 3 points with Coventry at home, when can we. Points dropped. Peterborough away will be difficult. They score a lot of goals at home. I think it could be the end of the unbetaen run.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Leeds can beat peterborough....they score loads but their defence is shoddy.....our defence is much improved and if our strikers perrform we can do some serious damage

So to all you optimistic hopefuls there goes another 3 points..! lets hear you all now say were gunna win the league (fools)

Believable3 Unbelievable2

We're gonna win the league.

Agree2 Disagree2

No were not, not when we dont win games like Coventry at home, leading in the 93rd minute. No chance.

Agree2 Disagree0

Win our game in hand and were joint 2nd FOOL! leeds fan my ass

Agree1 Disagree2

And by the way, we won't win at Peterborough. My prediction. Mark my words.

Agree1 Disagree1

Why is he a Leeds fan 'your ass' just because he disagrees with you and thinks we threw 3 points away and is concerned? Just because you disagree. I am sure he wants Leeds to win just as much as you do, and i do. Ridiculous.

Agree2 Disagree0

We're gonna win the league you moaning, whinging, whining git. We still got a point, and we in the middle of a bunch of teams that if they win they could go second. Have some faith man

Agree3 Disagree0

Its not naive to try and stay positive when things are not going so good and its also not wrong to air your opinions when the club is being run in such way that you dont agree with it, But the fact is is that there is an annoying undertone on a lot of supporters sites where its blatantly obvious that some fans get pleasure out of predicting doom and gloom for Leeds United and saying "i told you so" when we get beat.Clubs will drop points, fact, clubs will have good runs, fact, clubs will have bad runs. Its football.Simon will see things just like we do, he has eyes, and he will make the decision to the best of his ability. He might get it wrong or right but as a general trend we are moving forward. I think we will make a top four finish this year and i am sure we will get at least 2 good players in the transfer window. We must keep Simon and grow together. It wont happen overnight but I dont think it will take forever either. Rome wasnt built ina day I wasnt on that fooooookin job. ha ha ha . Supa Leeds.

Agree2 Disagree0

Well, I have had my concerns, as above.Get frustrated at the small errors and lack of professionalism that cost us, when we could be flying. However, we are on a good run, and the one thing i agree wholeheartedly is- Keep SG. I have never understood those calling for his head.

classy Leeds fans, booing Paul Rachubka for his mistake.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Its not Rachubka's fault we should have been 3 up before that mistake - just lacking that killer touch in the final third

Agree2 Disagree1

Lonners is out for 6 weeks, let's support him and get him confident.

Agree2 Disagree4

Cant blame them its basic keeping skills that he obv lacks....hes obv not good enough for the mighty whites thank goodness hes not our no1

Agree3 Disagree1

Ross Mac should have scored, but by and large a draw is a fair result. we didn't lose, that's what's important.

Agree3 Disagree1

4 people disagree that we should support our number 2 keeper while the number 1 is injured. are you all on crack?

Agree0 Disagree0

We saw Robbo make some pretty stupid mistakes in the past,All keepers do from time to time. No need to be nasty about it. If the strikers had scored some of their chances, it wouldn't even have been an issue!

Just on my way for a few pints at the white hart. Feeling confident of a good result tonight but I suppose this is a test of character. Another performance like Donny and no worries but if we slacken off then a nail biting 90 minutes and the same old chants of Bates out! Lets sing our hearts out for the lads and I hope Lonners is starting! Wouldn't change team if they are fit unless SG is brave enough to bring in Valyren for Howson!

Im hearing alot of rumours about Clingan today, I bet he plays a blinder. I don't know much about him but lets hope he has a quiet game.

3 pts 6 pints and a greesy burger tonight please.

In keogh's interview he's said that if at the end of the season we get promoted and he hasn't scored that many goals he'll be happy. Sounds like him signing is a done deal if he's talking about the end of the season!

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Also sounds like he has the right attitude toward playing for Leeds. His style of play reminds me a little of Baird. By the end of the season, I think the pundits will be saying his transfer was a masterstroke by Grayson because he made the team tick. Results and performances have improved since his arrival. No coincidence in my opinion. The great thing is we got Becchio waiting in the wings when he requires a rest. If we swap Paynter for Clingan, watch out rest of Championship!

Agree3 Disagree0

Would love to see Clingan at ER but would Coventry let him go think he would take some prising away

Agree0 Disagree0

Have a feeling clingans out of contract in the summer....correct me if im wrong.....so a cash plus paynter deal may work in january

On the back of this season I wouldn't want to break the bank to keep howson. If I was in his position id sign straight away. He will have been offered more money for a start and he has been made captain of the team he supports. If he keeps stalling whether or not its a shot a bates show him the door. Dont want another johnson demanding prem wages when they aint been earned

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Depends what you mean by "breaking the bank". Define it. Personally, I'd go as high as 22k a week for JH but no more. Keeping a home bred popular club captain is not just about keeping another Bradley. There's more to it and riding on it. I'm hoping Bates sees that and sorts something out but it's give and take. Howson has to realize if his wages go into another street it will be at the lower end of that street and his performances have to be maintained.

Agree2 Disagree1

Really? You'd go to £22k for howson? Problem is that if we did that (for a player who to be fair has massively under performed this season so far) we'd have other senior players like Snoddy, lonergan, becchio, McCormack probably demanding parity. On top of that, any new players coming in would also too

Very risky, as frustrating as a wage cap may be, it's keeping us financially secure and away from the situation not that long ago when our wage bill spiralled out of control and nearly ruined us. Double edged sword and not worth the risk - howson is supposed to be Leeds through and through and lets face it, £11-15k per week is an incredible amount of money to anyone (based on rumours of what our wage cap is just now)

Agree0 Disagree0

Good post but real simple. Uncle Ken no pony uppy money no Howson next season. Write it on the wall. His agent will claim he is "double the player" who signed that contract in 2008 so they want "double the money" and can easily get it at 2 Lancashire clubs currently playing Premiership football.
