I reckon the delay over the take over is both parties are trying to agree a fee as not sure what league we are gonna be in. Well guys guess what? Surprise surprise it's gonna be be league 1 at this rate.

Believable7 Unbelievable5

It would cost about 3 mil to turn our season round so can't see that been a problem for gfh .

Nothings changed has it,we were still poor, just this week so were millwall.
Where's the poster that says everyweek for us to shut up as we are only 4 points off play offs,6 points,mm 7 points,
Aren't you coming back with 8 points now? .
Thing it's time for them to shut up,see what ha been posted by most last few weeks and realise we are miles away from play offs.
Just forget this year, maybe by next August a takeover may have been done and we can all start again.shrew Leeds.

After 45 years of supporting Leeds United, through thick and thin, through ups and downs, I have had enough of this.

It has got to the point where I really don't give dam what happens on the pitch anymore, and as I realise that isn't the right attitude to have, I am going to support my local team MK Dons

At least their management team gives a $h1t

I don't totally blame Bates, he pumped some money in and has tried to sell the club to someone likely to invest.

I've had 30 years of proud support and enjoyment, but enough is enough.

Warnock has done what he can and wanted a swansong... ain't going to happen, walk while you can , Neil!

Like the rest of us that have been taken for the ride.

Leeds4alongtime but not any more....

Believable6 Unbelievable9

Obviously not that much of a supporter as you claim to be!

Once Leeds always Leeds

Agree8 Disagree2

Chucking your toys out of the pram is hardly gonna help!!!!

Agree3 Disagree2

Well...also 45 years of suppporting Leeds.
Yes its a desperate situation, no money, takeover taking to long..... and the injuries and suspensions.

But Keep the faith....we have had worse times and it will get better..MOT...Till the day I Die

Agree7 Disagree1

If you were a real fan, you wouldn't turn your back on your team.

Agree8 Disagree1

We have been through it all together, and we have had our ups and downs...ups and downs, we're gonna stay with you forever.....my friend go enjoy your made up team in a hockey stadium, we are Leeds United, I agree it's rubbish right now, but I believe in tomorrow. I always remember the Norwich fan who threw his season ticket at Brian Gunn when they lost 7-1 at home to Colchester, two seasons later they were in the Premier League. Oh and Man City playing in Johnstons Paint Trophy now they have won Prem League. I know it's hard but keep the faith

Agree6 Disagree0

Bates hasn't put any money of his own in to the club since he arrived as hes a scared old man.he didn't dare take the risk of spending money to make money .

Agree3 Disagree0

Look i know your upset and disillussioned, most of us are,
but i cant believe you can go and support another team..i could never ever do that.
yes i no longer rush to everygame, but im leeds through and through,,,even when we are rubbish..shrew leeds

Agree1 Disagree0

"If you were a real fan, you wouldn't turn your back on your team."

OP here, I know you people are right, and I couldn't ever turn my back on Leeds United but this season has to be fast becoming one of the worst in our history?

Neil Warnock is more outspoken than Grayson ever was and keeps on about how good the team is when we all KNOW different - why on earth can't he see we have genuine contenders coming through from the youth teams instead of loaning them out to give them experience?

Put them IN THE TEAM Neil, they will soon get all the experience they need!

GIVE US BACK OUR TEAM!

Agree0 Disagree0

How could you go and support another team that is awful in itself but a team that has "Judas" playing for them you know who I mean that fake ex leeds and claimed true supporter of Leeds Alan Smith. Leeds will get through this bad patch as the takeover from any of three potential investors will happen by January and then we will be in the playoffs but until then we will have to get behind the team and back NW all the way LUFC FOREVER

Believable6 Unbelievable6

I actually thought that when i saw his interview after game,
i think he does give a damn but remember hes in a no lose situation.]
if we do rubbish as we are now its his last season and he retires anyway.
if by a miracle we do well then he will prob stay as we would all want him to.

Is it just me or did we cope well with Millwall today despite their goal, were just lacking a bit of creativity now snodgrass has gone. 2-3 new signings of good quality and we will be right up there.

Believable10 Unbelievable7

We shouldn't be 'coping' with Millwall. We should be passing them off the park. Not that the word 'passing' has ever been part of Warnock's vocabulary..

Let's face it with 11 men we were never goin to score, you tell me how many times we tested there keeper forde, that's it you guessed it none,we have no idea goin forward, diouf is that slow I could run faster and I weigh 16 stone,Warnock you took a top half championship side and tore it apart and replaced it with overaged journeymen just like yourself, granted you have a good record at getting teams promoted but your record with teams that are struggling is terrible, your style of play does not suit the championship, times have moved on teams actually play football now not like a few years ago,so let's change things around, gfh move over let the men with real money takeover our club we have no room for pretenders like yourselves, you have had enough free days out in hospitality I for one don't want you,I blame you for this crisis not Bates why should he spend any money when he's selling would anyone put a new kitchen or new bathroom in a house you agreed to sell 7 months ago no,your the ones who don't have the cash your the ones who are happy to sit back and watch whilst our season is in tatters,David haigh how can you call yourself a fan I'm a fan and I'm telling you if I was fortunate enough to be in your position I would work 24/7 to have got this deal done in time to have given us a fighting chance and you have failed before you even got your foot in the door.

Believable12 Unbelievable0

I agree, football in this league has changed over the last three years. There is now some quality football being played. IMO this league is the same kind of football and standard, we had in the old First division, before the european influence came into our game. And just a further note, some of the teams are playing quite good and entertainimng football....I believe its our (as in English) type football. Sometimes I think our National team should include a few Championship players. Good hard grafters.

im a fan of neil but im afraid i have to disagree with his comments regarding the performance, we didnt play well at all, didnt create enough chances, resorted to the typical hoof it up for becchio to win 1/15 headers when he jumps about 3 weeks to early, i dont get as a centre forward of his size you can mistime a jump, its baffling, its annoying to see Varney whos miles better in the air than Becchio start out wide rather than Diouf out there who is NOT a striker hes best in midfield and his performances at the start of the season proved that, even hes gone off the boil since starting up front, if Varneys red card gets recinded (which it should that was an awful decision) then should try Becchio and Varney up front or better yet just shove Ross up there he was our top scorer for a reason last season! tactics really need to change

Guys we have acquired for this role have been fill in's and simply not good enough. Bit of quality please instead of quick patch it up. 'Palace are gonna rip us a new back end'

18 Nov 2012 19:34:53
0-0 at half time made me optimistic we could get something, But once again it was short lived as with everything Leeds united. The end result is the same fans left disillusioned, dismayed and baying for blood, "our man Reg" bless his cotton socks at least we don't have to worry about him playing for 3 games minimum "the plank", his elbow was premeditated and should be reviewed by the FA and given maximum ban and fine.
As for Warnock, just another gob 5hite bates muppet
The Colin at his best "being his name sake." Made promises' regardless of lack of funds or injuries, "can get the best out of players my ar5e?"
Colin should be a gent throw in the towel and walk away now, "as promised" just add a massive fail tag as under him its league one or worse.
Replacement, It wouldn't matter who replaced him I simply see nothing positive in the future near or otherwise for our once great club (TOMA included).
Everyone, just walk away from bates and leave him to do what "HE " promised and have no choice but put LUFC in admin again, have to walk away with nothing more than an EPIC fail to his name with the knowledge he will never be forgiven, EVER.
Why would anyone with business sense at this time pay good money for nothing other than a brand name they could get for a snip come the season end, mark my words GFH will wait as will others, I would.
If the above happens January will see byram lees & mac sold doiuf released tonge and hall returned.
We should take a leaf out of ranger's book a fresh start and build from that.
I wouldn't give Warnock any money as all it will be now is panic buys and fire fighting signings (more old men and more has never beens, more dead wood)
Roll on the Chelsea game our season will conclude at the final whistle.
No respite or light at the end under this regime.

my friend from hudds says clayton is by miles the player of their season so far.anyone recall warnock getting shut of him because he wanted a player with better qualities in his midfield .need i say any more?

Agree11 Disagree2

He let Clayton go because he greedy agent thought his client deserved a massive pay rise. As we all know Master Bates has a strict salary cap so refused to up his wage. Why bow to the demands of a players who wants more money. They should play for the shirt and the privilege of playing for a fantastic club, not for the money. These guys are all well paid, they earn ten times what the average man earns. Clapton is a damn good player but you can be held to ransom by players wanting silly salary increases just cos they had a good season. They don't expect a salary decrease if they had a poor season, so why an increase if had a good season. Stick to your contacts and stop moaning. LPay for the shirt.

Agree3 Disagree8

After the rumours started Clayton came out and said categorically that it wasn't him asking for 15k. Word is it was White asking for the big money and he got it. Quite honestly I'd have paid decent money to keep Clayton seeing as how he could pass accurately, tackle and score, attributes not much in evidence at ER this season and certainly not evident in Aidy White. Can't believe we didn't cash in on him.

GFH f--k off and take Warnock with you.Let's start with gfh,if you wanted to buy our football club or had our club at heart you would have stopped pissing aboutand bought the bloody thing, this is a joke your a joke, leave it to the proper business men who have the cash to buy us,and don't have to take daily trips to the local pawn shop and pawn there possessions to raise the cash, let's face it you don't have the cash, you have brought a whole new meaning to IMMINENT,what does that mean I don't know anymore.does any leeds fan,you sit there in the executive area every home game, which I might add is for free you bunch of freeloaders, why we honest hard working fans have to pay good hard earned money to watch the rubbish which Neil Warnock has assembled, which leads me on to our so called saviour.Last season you had the cheek to criticise

Believable9 Unbelievable2

18 Nov 2012 17:23:11
That wasn't our worst performance and for once I think bad luck played a part. Having said that, we've been very lucky with penalties this season so we can't bemoan our luck. As the cliche goes - luck evens itself out over the course of a season.

The other cliche which is also true is that the league table doesn't lie. Since Warnock arrived we've only ever really looked like a bottom half team. We're now starting to look like a relegation team.

I've always been anti-Warnock and will be glad when he leaves. My one concern though is who would want the job with the all the takeover uncertainty?

Believable5 Unbelievable1

18 Nov 2012 17:05:55
warnock out!!,his record since he's been at leeds is one if not the worst ever by a leeds manager,

Believable13 Unbelievable2

18 Nov 2012 16:54:37
Baton down the hatches fellow Leeds fans, I now foresee a long hard season and a battle to avoid relegation. Everything that could have gone wrong has gone wrong. So disappointed I really thought this was gonna be the year.
I blame the shambolic takeover fiasco personally, NW hasnt stood a chance, crucial injuries havnt helped but it is obvious he hasnt been given the funds promised. KB wont put another cent in while our prospective new owners quiet understandably are relunctant also. Why should they give money to a manager who has said this was his last season no matter what anyway.
So for the few of you who think we will get massive player investment if the takeover happens before January be prepared to be disappointed. Unless they have allready changed managers but i have a sneaky feeling NW was part of the deal and that is why he is still with us and hasnt walked anyway. I think I am rambling now so I will sign off. One very P8888d off Leeds fan

Believable7 Unbelievable5

18 Nov 2012 19:34:21
warnock would get given full funds as he knows how to build a team for the championship the thing at the minute is warnock as only been able to get his 2nd or 3rd choice players.warnock give bates a list of 3 players per position and bates obviously chose the cheapest .i never wanted warnock as manager his tactics are poor but if he has not got the players he wanted hes gonna be as down as we are.

Agree1 Disagree4

I don't know what is going on whether it is just a bad patch or something the fans should start worrying over. The tactics are very poor all the time it's ever pass back to keeper and then he boots it up the pitch and we lose possession or when ever the out field players get the ball they just boot it without any consideration for who or where it goes to. Needs to be a change though and I think GFH will get rid of NW if we do not get back in top 10 till christmas. I hope he does not get the sack but instead his second - rate signings get booted out the way they boot the ball and then with the money he has no choice but to buy decent players. However by the end of the season i do see Leeds fighting for promotion all they need is a good run

Agree1 Disagree1

18 Nov 2012 16:46:38
I just want to say i feel warnocks tactics are apauling,i never wanted him in the first place but i decided to give him a chance even though i could see through his usual crap of tryng to win us over at every opportunity by saying we are the best fans in the world etc,i seem to remember him saying the same about the dingles, qpr etc when he was there!! but the team simply are not good enough, apart from lees, pearce, green and mc cormack the rest can go for me with warnock and bates!! and as for gfh i have no faith even now!! its apparent to see they are struggling to raise finances already!!

Believable6 Unbelievable2

18 Nov 2012 19:42:04

Another carp performance. I know we only had 10 second half but where we're Varney, tonge, Becchio and hall first half. We have played a game again with only 7 performing. Time for a new manager. And don't give me this carp of his hands are tied. He has brought in the bulk of that team .
JD

Believable7 Unbelievable4

His hands are tied

Agree3 Disagree3

He spent 2m pre season - more than Grayson spent in 3 years. How can you say his hands are tied? No, he's a poor manager in the modern game. Look at his record for the past 18 years since his flurry of lower league promotions - not great is it? 2 promotions in 18 years - rather more relegations or being sacked to avoid relegation.

Agree2 Disagree0

18 Nov 2012 15:33:30
No pace, no creativity, no quality.....NO HOPE. The more NW defends these performances the more I thnk he has totally lost his marbles. It plain to see that every side is outplaying us. League 1 beckons and don't see anything turning this around. Worst I've ever felt about Leeds united FC.

Believable11 Unbelievable6

Shouldn't b 2 harsh on NW he is trying to make a silk purse out of a sours ear just like SG before him no investment in the playing sode of the club by bates over the last half a dozen yrs and the rest of the board are just as much to blame either believe what he is doing is right or too spineless 2 stand upto him. If/when this takeover comes maybe 2 late 2 save us

Agree7 Disagree7

Did you watch the game?
Leeds put in a great performance today against a team that has now not lost in ten games.
Varney probably should not have played, but no way was that a red card. How their player wasn't sent off in the second minute I don't know.
Millwall did not outplay us, we played well against them even with 10 men.
Warnock played varney where I would have played Norris.
I would have played kisnorbo rather than peltier, but actually he played ok.
We passed the ball around millwall and before the sending off I thought we would win it.
After the sending off we never gave up and were actually dominating until they brought on Henry.
You are entitled to your own opinion, but what you have written is just untrue.

Agree8 Disagree8

Ipswich Bristol & Peterborough are a lot worse than us so Im not worried about relagation as I just don't see them 3 climbing out of there

Agree5 Disagree2

18 Nov 2012 16:22:14
Be honest the whole performance is lacking. Why isn't NW telling the Players that if they are red carded they will be sold or their contract cancelled. there is no need for playing stupidly, and puting the rest of the team under pressure. NW you have lost it-GO GO GO

Agree4 Disagree4

Ther was three crucial decisions in this game:
1. Second minute incidence: Millwall red card?
2. Varney incidence: red card?
3. Lees incidence: penalty?
All thes situations had approximaly the same degree of "clarity" to me - you can defend the referee judge either way...
But they ALL went against us - coincidal or not, it decided the match!

Agree3 Disagree0

Well I must disagree with your comments here. We didnt put in a good performance at all. We never used the width as we should have and I wont be happy until this happens. Leeds are not a hoof team they like to get it down and play. But we lack creativity. Varney shouldnt have sent off I agree but we cant go missing in the midfield and expect not to get away with it. We havent got a clue. Becchio never runs the channels. We play him more like a CF than a striker. Who is he feeding the ball to wen he gets the flick on. PLay him as a striker and get him on the ball more he will deliver!

Agree2 Disagree3

Agree with the last post. Decisions did go against us.
I can not believe the negative comments. We did not play that bad. We were passing the ball around well.
The only mistake IMHO was not playing Norris instead of varney and not replacing varney with norris before he was sent off.
I think warnock has made mistakes, but some of you are trying to find holes in anything you can.

Agree0 Disagree4

18 Nov 2012 15:29:29
Heart! wtf! That team have never heart and the whole excuse of the takeover effecting our players is total rubbish. They are not in the know and have no right to be involved with it!

Anybody that still thinks Warnock is the man for the job need to have a serious look at themselves.. Believe me I saw Warnock on the touchline and looked so uninterested and that is not wot I like to see!

We are not capable of stringing a move together and not doing the basic things in defence. Peltier captain are u having a laugh with me, he couldnt captain my Sunday league team. Diouf up front never bin a striker and Tong the main free kick taker... pfft! wot a joke!

Believable6 Unbelievable4

Completely agree! Personally think we (the fans) should try and make a case for Simon grayson to return!! For heavens sake the man is a Leeds fan, and with barely any money got us playing enterprising, attacking football and doing the double of NW's QPR a couple of seasons back. With money Larry would secure us promotion sooner rather than later. One final point....grayson was in the sky studio today and refered to Leeds as "we".....complete legend! #there's only one Simon Grayson!

Agree8 Disagree7

18 Nov 2012 16:25:39
I just cannot understand why a person with so much money as NW still wants to work. Especially when his heart is not in it- Ed - you need to print this comments and not brush them aside.

Agree2 Disagree0

OP here! Yes I would love to have Grayson back. I think Leeds is in his blood TBH. I know he would bring back some young modern football which I think this is wot we lack. All I see week in and week out is Hoof! hoof! and head to no one. Why cant we ever use the wide men to deliver the ball in the box. We did a couple of times today but straight down the keepers throat all the time. The players he brought in are all aging to quickly and he reflects his football tctics around this. We played a young Hall on the right today and we never gave him the ball to have a real go at the defene and in my eyes he woulld have caused Lowry problems. He aint a great player aint Lowry and nebver was at Leeds so why not use this to effect. Tonges freekicks were wasteful and never looked confident with them and Peltier as captain is a joke! Byram was good again and will be sold in January for peanuts the same as all our young talent in the past. Grayson had to buy some crap wen he was at leeds but look wot he did with some of the players(Snodgrass, Gradel and turned Mccormacks form round aswell) IsNW really capable of doing this... Not in my opinion. I dont think his heart is really in the job now as he knows he wont be getting promotion with the bunch he got here! I dont rate Paul Green either gave the ball away too much today and went missing in the midfioeld area. This needs sorting out and quick otherwise league1 does beckon. I could a better job myself in all fairness and I would defo use the youngsters alot more they do play with heart and enthusiasm.

You could tell confidence has gone throughout the squad , there passing was putting each other under pressure there was no attacking mentality players on that pitch for leeds today .green was always too far away from the ball and really started to look like brown ,dont know weather it was fitness/lack of games or what but he was dreadful .

Truth be told both the ghfc and the Preston Haskell bids don't excite me ghfc wan to pay in instalments means we will be living under batesenomics for the foreseeable future sell to buy while they skim from the top don't trust American bidders Liverpool arsenal Liverpool villa all mortgaged up to pay for the clubs

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Check your facts mate. Arsenal have a cash surplus of about £125 million from their property developments around the old Highbury stadium combined with highly profitable player trading. Not exactly a club struggling with debt. I'm also pretty sure that Liverpool is largely debt-free since the new owners took over.

In any case, debt isn't a problem in and of itself. It's only a problem if you can't service the debt. Most of us take on debts as a matter of routine; mortgages, car loans & leases, credit cards etc.

The reason we ran into trouble under Ridsdale was because he gambled on Champions League qualification to repay the debts. That wasn't clever - a bit like buying a 10 bedroom house because you think you might get promoted at work.

The only heavily indebted American owned club in the Premiership is Man U. Tell me, would you be happy to swap places with them?

Made me laugh last night Warnock explaining how defenders should defend on a website, shame you cant get that message across to your own players

Surely if Leeds lose or draw again today,Warnock will be sacked, its a must win game today,no excuses.

Every manager under bates has done the job with his hands tied behind his back . having to buy or borrow in the bargain basement while more ambitious clubs spend and climb above us . having a big stadium big city and big support doesnt mean anything on the pitch . if we got rid of warnock who would we get with a better record . we have stagnated because of bates , get off warnocks back and pray that bates will soon be gone and replaced with an ambitious board . even if they only want success to make a profit for their investors its still success .

Agree4 Disagree5

I hate bates but you can't blame him for the poorest style of play i have ever seen a leeds team play, we never look comfortable in possession, the players[warnock's] look so low on confidence and ideas it would be funny if it weren't OUR team but it is.we can't string more than 3 passes together without hoofing it up front, i have never seen a side pass it back to the keeper so much as we do, it's cos our tactices are the poorest iv'e seen in a long while and thats down to WARNOCK no-one else,we will be in the bottom three within the next few games if we continue to play in such a pub style way,our players aren't that bad it's the tactics/style we play, sorry for me we need the takeover to happen as well as a new manager and fast,or we are doomed.

For all those thinking that Poleon & Thompson should be recalled from Bury, forget it as they will not the answer to any of our problems. I watched them both yesterday & they struggled to make an impact against a very ordinary Colchester team. We need proven pace and quality. Boyd is also not the man for the job - too slow at this level.

Against mill wall, crystal palace, Leicester and Huddersfield? To get 6 points a win and three draws would be a miracle

New owners whoever they maybe, first job get a top manager in,Warnock has been bad

I changed my mind after seeing the team line ups. Why are kisnorbo and Norris on the bench? Is warnock mad or trying to destroy leeds?

Don't forget Colin is a sheff Utd fan and hates Leeds, takes us down and he is a hero in both sides of Sheffield. Just a thought
