watching newcastle v norwich....howson is out of his depth! i may sound bitter, but he just doesent look happy there?

Believable9 Unbelievable4

Out of his depth, have a word with yourself,he has been out injured ages, there will come a time to judge him in the premier league and right now isn't it!

Agree8 Disagree7

Looked the same player he has been at Leeds all year, sincerely average

Agree10 Disagree2

Get better not bitter life goes on

Agree5 Disagree5

Doubt Id have johnny the judas for Leeds if we went up? Always looked average for us personally, just thought he had a Leeds heart at the time, obviously not, no 1 pushed him out the door, see whos laughing end of next season when the honeymoon finishes at norwich and Sargent warnock gets us up

Agree5 Disagree1

Howson was good for Leeds and is a good player PROVIDED you play him in the formation which suits him the most. He was very effective grabbing early goals with that formation catching teams off guard and late goals with a change to that formation late in the game catching teams off guard. If he were used correctly, impact player from midfield. Good sub for a mid-way Premiership side. Him and BJ can warm that bench together. LUFC requires better midfield players than these two.

Agree8 Disagree0

Thought the grass was greener and jumped ship as soon as he could, captain leeds, dont make me laugh!! warnock doesent want people like that at our club,he wants players who give 110% every week(just look how differant BROWN is) simple facts. warnock knows,if players aint committed there "out" ! LONG MAY IT REIGN.

Agree4 Disagree0

I personally thought he had a good game, rarely gave the ball away in the 1st half and timed his forward runs well and came close with a good long range effort. He looked tired 2nd half but thats understandable given he hadn't started a game since december

Agree3 Disagree1

Doesn't really matter how good he is or isn't. He's not a Leeds player anymore, and with Clayts and brown playing like they are, I wouldn't put him in the team even if he was. Clayts is a better player anyway.

He served us well, and I wish him luck in the future, but we're not exactly suffering without him.

Agree2 Disagree2

Didn't watch the game, but watched the Chelsea V Foxes, Beckford looked his usual annoyed self lol Good goal but didn't do much else, I would have had him back and was gutted when he left, but know thinking was he really that good, sure he can score but so can Ross and Ross tracks back, works hard off them ball, Foxes keep beckford we dont want him. Oh and yer thank god greyson got rid Kasper, the boy is rubbish.

Agree3 Disagree1

Obviously some bitter posters on here, Howson looked solid vs Newcastle, kept it simple, didn't really excel but he certainly wasn't bad. I even recall the commentators saying that he'd done well. And as for the comment that Howson didn't give 110% . . Behave yourself! His commitment on the pitch was nothing short of brilliant, always wanted the ball and when he lost it he was always determined to win it back.

Agree3 Disagree2

Have some of you forgotten what Howson has done for us? He earned us some vital results over the years almost on his own! I for one wish him the best.

Agree5 Disagree2

Facts ;
- Howson had every right to go for more money, success and a good line manager!
- People on this site get far too hung up on the Judas thing - he went because of above. How many of us move to another employer for the same reasons? Family first on every day with a Y in it.
- Yes Howson scored some quality goals for Leeds united whenever the formation was right for him - as such a very inflexible/average player!
- Why do people get hung up on him being a Leeds lad - the minute he, Smithy and Batty left the club people call them a judas. Move on and grow up to those who do!!
Take a look at the most successful/loyal Leeds players and think where they come from, How many of the Leeds players in the last 2 League Championship teams 1974 and 1992 were local lads?

Agree6 Disagree3

I'm sure all of the above points made in the previous post are opinion as opposed to facts!?!

You need to get your facts right pal first! As for howson, I think he did well Sunday n I certainly wish him all the best.

Anybody on here who says they wouldn't move jobs to a higher company for money a week are more than likely kidding themselves!

Agree1 Disagree2

I agree with you I have mixed up some of my opinion in there with facts!
Which of my so called facts do you disagree with cos you don't say?

Best wishes to Fabrice Muamba hope he gets well soon is hard to imagine that something like this can happen to a young man in his physical condition as a professional sportsman, from all Leeds fans around the world

Believable17 Unbelievable3

Who disagreed?! >:( the heartless b**tard!

Agree6 Disagree1

Cannot believe someone has ticked disagree, why not try reading the posts before ticking agree or disagree or trying getting a life while others are fighting for theirs

Never sitting in east stand upper again not even for free the atmosphere up there was shocking

Believable9 Unbelievable8

Crap isnt it
its like looking through someones kitchen window to see their tv
no atmosphere at all
ive sat up there once before....never again

Agree6 Disagree7

It used to be great up there when we were in the prem. I Used to sit up there in league 1 for big matches and it was pretty good then aswell.
Its the BUTLIN'S holiday chalets that have caused the atmosphere to go. It's just full of business people that have hired those suites and have tickets to sit in that area. - It's a real shame as the view up there is fantastic
I can't even sit down because i don't fit behind the seats (leg room) so the only place i can go is in the North Upper where everyone stands up (plus it's not full of cardboard cut outs like the other stands). Bring back Standing areas I say

Agree7 Disagree0

My season ticket used to over the half way line a few rows up from the front. Best view pin the ground. Back then the atmosphere was brilliant everywhere except the West Stand. Such a shame that so many 'supporters' have deserted the games now we're no longer in the top division.

Agree4 Disagree2

Only sat up there once, for Radebe's testimonial and the atmosphere was great.

You arm chair fans as warnock calls em that didnt turn up yesterday for whatever reason how about getting down to er tuesday night and supporting the team remember you support leeds through thick and thin through the good times and bad

Believable8 Unbelievable6

Yes thick and thin, sorry for being an arm chair fan warnock but live other side of the world!!!

Agree6 Disagree5

I was struggling to get to the game as I live in Melbourne. Still stayed up till 4am to watch it, although I laid on the sofa so I am a sofa fan

Agree8 Disagree5

Sorry for being an armchair fan
cant afford every game
and while im at it i went to every game last season except the last cos i couldnt get a ticket ...sold all the empty seats that were normally there !
my point is people go when they want its their choice to do what they want when they want
when your paying for my ticket then you can dictate when i go and what type of fan i am

Agree5 Disagree6

I think warnock meant fans who can make it that live over here!

Agree5 Disagree0

Sorry we cant all afford to go all the time and live a fair distance away and have jobs and lives outside football, please excuse us sir.

Agree6 Disagree6

Currently in Afghan' Mate, would love to be at ER instead, in fact wouldn't mind being a arm chair fan at the moment lol.

Agree3 Disagree4

How about surpporting wife and kids in difficult times, no job no money - been made redundent twice in 18 mths boths companies i worked for whent bust. ok for warnock to say these things on his salary.

Love leeds.

Agree3 Disagree3

Yes mate everyone has to get priorities sorted, I'm lucky in that I can afford a season ticket (don't smoke & hardly drink to pay for it) but hope things pick up for you (and other Leeds fans) soon & we get to see you back singing for the boys ;-)

Good Luck to all Leeds fans everywhere - MOT ;-)

Unfortuantely i wasnt at the game yesterday but given the option last saturday of taking 4 points from Boro and Hammers, i think most would agree that we would of took it!

may be a bit late for playoffs i dont know but a win Tuesday could change that!? but a huge positive for me is the defence! under SG i think we would of shipped a lot more than 1 goal over teh last 2 games.

MOT!

could anybody give me some advice...

I dont get up ER much anymore as i have a 5month old daughter and live in Nottingham and i'm looking to head up for the Derby game in a few weeks.

is it generally a good atmosphere in South stand near the away support since they have been moved or am i better to play safe and sit in the kop upper?! at the minute there arent many tickets sold in south stand or north (bar season tickets holders), and i wanna get a seat where the atmosphere is gonna be fiesty...advice welcome.

cheers
MOT

Believable5 Unbelievable1

I would go north stand mate, or failing that East Stand Lower. Try and swerve the south stand as you can't hear a single song
