For goal threat stokes gets in good positions and solid shot. Mulhern more physical and probably handle himself better in championship but give stokes edge. Wilks will be standout in a year expect him to be knocking on door towards end of season.

Should be on bench imo george. Good player more to offer than wood the way he is playing. Reckon he will be used this season. Got some decent defenders coming through Tom Pearce LB and Jack Vann CB. Both for future though when we are in premier.

not leeds related but is football related and to do with my third favorite subject after leeds and speedy, which is myself!

got a link to leyton orient club website's preview of my show with cast and background. should be on ITV london tonight and BBC london next week and we are on talk sport on 4th and 14th of Sept, think this is the greatest football related story ever and i'm in it as a fat lazy footballer to boot

Ok I've been in Cork a number of years now but how come every paper hates us? One minute the mail, then the s*n and now the daily mirror have always hated us according to Deda.

The Mirror has run numerous lies about our club over the years and some fans have boycotted the paper. They stated that Don Revie and his team would offer people bribes to lose matches against us. Remember this paper used to be printed in Manchester and has always favoured that team we don't like.

YES YES YES,

that video has made me more excited than speedy. 25 played in seria a and international (for a good team as well) . big imposing good with feet can read game and tackle, just what we need don't think we have had a decent fit centre half since Rio. Monk has sorted back four out and will have us playing well, I really think top 6. I know I have always been a big fan of MC maybe bigger fan than I should be but he is delievring now as I said he would. this club was in a hole, he has plugged hole and kept afloat and now we finally after over a decade seem to be on the up MOT.

Pleased to see we've got Bridcutt in. don't know much about Jansson but must be an improvement on Bambi. Get in another left back, let Taylor go then get a Centre forward. Wood is not good enough. he's had a season at the club to feel the fans desire and fervour but consistently falls short of our expectations which are for goals obviously (poor I think) but as much as anything for heart desire and effort and that's what he consistently fails to show.

I think Jansson will prove to be a class signing. Got to be Jansson and Cooper centre backs for me with Birdy sat in front. Just need to sign either the lad from Walsall or Verboom at right back and get Berradi fit and we'll have a very strong back line.

agree what a turn around from last year, like to see silvestri with decent back line. wonder if it might improve his confidence with crosses and commanding the box. also think cooper will be better with out bambi, must be hard carrying 14 stone of S""T on your back and trying to play football.

This guy is a quality signing and no-one can argue against that.

Swedish defenders do well in the English game and the fact he is 6 5" should help with our problems of dealing with simple balls into our box.

I have read the the clause is if he plays 20+ times we can buy him for £3.6m which makes him our most expensive player, so all those who say we only buy cast-offs etc should think again.

So we have bought in players this summer that have cost 2m, 3m and now 3.6m (Bridcut value also around 1.5m) so hopefully Monk can do something with this team, reckon we only need another fwd + maybe old head midfielder type and we would be very close to a good side.

Very happy with this, the jigsaw is almost complete. Need verboom and a striker and we're good to go . Jansson will be a threat to the opposition from corners as well as heading balls clear from our own box .

He'll also be good in transition otherwise known as on the break. He has a little bit of pace to add to his class as a defender.

Like you say, if we acquired a forward to rival Wood we are playoff material no doubt.
