If there's 8 milly on table for SB I say take it put half in bank spend other half on Gradel and Darikwa. I believe we would be a better side.

1 rumour I've heard is £6m plus Wickham. I doubt this is true but I'd snap their hands off for that.

Agree 8 mill a good price but I think the final decision will be Sams. Cellino said we do not need to sell, can't see ayt point him going to Sunderland but Southampton or West Ham might tempt him. Think when time comes a bigger club will come in for him.

Get that Bjarnasson in too and go for Ince.

18 Jun 2015 00:34:38
Agree bige. No point in Sunderland or west ham
Reckon we'll get 8 for him though. Too many teams after him to take 6
Gradels still beyond us though
Should get couple decent players for 8 though
Does anybody else's iPhone predictive text change us to U.S all the time?

MM, that is a snap hand off scenario.

Yep agree. Love Sam, but 8 mill and/or 6 mill plus Wickham and that makes good sense. Probably the right time for him to have a move (though not sure Sunderland is right choice). I'd also be delighted if he stays - but so long as the money is reinvested in players, we will have to sell our academy players from time to time. As long as it's no more than 1 per year, we should be able to use the dosh to improve the team.

Got to agree with the Wickham scenario, if that was on the table. If we had to lose one of Cook, Mowatt or Byram, this sort of deal would definitely soften the blow. We may even get the better end of the deal tbh.
Plus I'd rather lose Byram than either of the other two. Still not sure if he's top class, whereas I think the other two are imo.

Yep agree with comments, 7-8 m you should take that and spend it on 2-3 quality additions to the team. Southampton or West Ham would be good for him as they are established in prem and play OK stuff and he would get in their team on a regular basis you would think. If he had 1-2 good seasons in prem then a top 6 club would become interested so we should insert some kind of sell on clause as I think he may become better.

He has served us well so at that price if he wants to go it is fair comment really.

Hi chaps,

Personally i'm quite pleased with the Kappa deal. Yes they used to be pretty chavvy, but starting to make some classy kits. Check out Torinos shirt, the one with 4 kappa logos on each sleeve! Think it looks brilliant. Miles better than Macron in any case. Plus its more financial input!!

Looking forward to see who we are able to sign up!

I'm loving the idea of plain white. Takes me back to the good old days. Hope the diarrhoea coloured away kit is consigned to the bin at the same time

You know, when that horrible kit was first conceived, a group of people sat around a table saying ooh that looks fantastic, we must have it. Who are these people. They should be taken outside and shot.
Okay that's a bit far but come on who in their right mind would have looked at that kit and thought anything but bleurgh! (that's my throwing up noise)

Tough fixture list. No easy months. Easiest seems to be October to me. The rest are tough. Are we playing enough games in April? Love to see what football league would do with us if we got to an fa cup semi final. Think the youngsters will play a very big part this season.

Could be announced during the press conference that we've

sold Byram for 6 mil
signed Darikwa
signed Bamba
Signed Bjarnasson for 2 mil
Brought ER and TA

of course I could be wrong :D

That would be perfect if only it was "Byram signs new 4 year contract"

Looking down the list Aus, no month seems like a cake walk. I suppose it will be hard to tell until the season gets into full swing but they all look like potentially tough months. You're right, need a good start or Rosler might be on his way before the kids are back at school!

Tough division this season, no "easy" games i.e. Millwall at home. Not a bad thing getting Burnley on the first game as they will be deflated from being relegated and will probably have a new strike force that has not played much together. Given their probable squad I expect Burnley to be challenging in the top half this coming season therefore catching them before momentum kicks in is not a bad thing

I've had to reactivated your password word . so I was banned for what . is this the way to treat a supporter . then my seat gone and I would have to pay an extra £50 . admim taking the pi-- and now trying to rip me off for £50 disguising more crap from leeds and of course I've had no response about the £6 car park fees . I mean pot holes no lighting and in dark and rains flooded but £6 . during week park and ride £3-20 leeds to watch £6 double for 2hrs taking the pi--

17 Jun 2015 12:23:43
Can't believe they've treated you so badly oneleeds. It's an absolute disgrace to treat a supporter willing to give his hard earned (in advanced) with no guarantees of anything like money well spent (hope I'm wrong). I'm glad I don't bother with a season ticket these days if that's how they treat you and this isn't the first instance I've heard of either. Happy to pay as I go.

It would be sad to see him go, but at some point you have to take them money. Hypothetically, if it were the difference between buying the stadium back or not, I'd take the money every time. Still, we'd miss him. Top quality player.

17 Jun 2015 02:46:26
Hate to even think it but I think we will loose sam if 8 million comes in for him ino there's been reports but why has his contract not been sorted by now just don't like it at all has a RM feel to it surly we Wouldn't be so stupid but he sold ross when he said he wanted promotion I want sammy byram in the number 7 ripping team apart for us not sunderland

17 Jun 2015 07:41:25
He shouldn't sign for Sunderland really as he will only be in prem for 1 season. Then he would have to move again
