Great post! I've been saying that for ages why hasn't anyone bought them out or why dnt they invest more money in us to get to prem surely it's in their interests?

i do think they need to go, interesting point about why not invest to go up. I was talking to the CEO of Leyton Orient who was assistant to the ex chairman the day before their playoff defeat a couple of years back. I said to him well go up tomorrow or not you got a good sqaud and with some investment you will definatly go up next year. His reply was

"it is ok to invest and of course we want to go up but it only works if we go up, it is a bit like saying you want to be a millionaire so why don't you invest everything into lotto tickets" same principle it is ok investing if you can be certain you will win sadly in football well in life in general.

sadly orient lost, they sold the club to very distant italians who do not really care about the club (in my opinion) and they have since gone down and don't look like going up.

again their itialians make our intialians look like a god send (and theirs is far richer)

either way GFH have to go, they have been discrbied as leeches and a cancer and both are very apt they are cancerous leeches.

I think we should back Cellinio. I know he does upset people but what I am more worried about is if he goes what will we get, he is putting money into the club and from what Evans says he is going to back him in the summer. Also why is there not a campaign against the Arabs why does not someone try and get their 25%.

Now that is a campaign I WOULD support.

Have stated on this site that ghf are the biggest problem with Leeds sitting on their hands waiting for someone to do all the work and walk away with rewards investing nothing wanting everything leeches. Get behind Massimo and show him what love Leeds fans have for their friends and I think Massimo will give us his heart.

17 Feb 2016 18:53:04
I don't think he's the type you want as an enemy either. Piss him off and he will get his money back and walk away and I don't think he'll worry about who would be sold but like I've said before I think he wants the best for Leeds "for the moment anyway" just hope he doesn't take this minority opinion seriously.

yes agree would be good to dilute GFH shares, will imagine they will want to keep some mind, that seems to be their plan but if someone could buy say 10-15% of their shares and maybe 10% of MC shares on the cheap (MC wants rid of GFH of course so might do this) then that would be ideal but hey real life ain't like this often.

Great idea alg like it.

Great idea algar; GFH leeches need to be gone ASAP, how the hell did FL allow them in in the first place has always filled me with suspicion. They contribute to inflate their profits.
MC not perfect but he needs to feel wanted, he's all we have at the moment. No, I haven't always defended MC, why can't he just be more honest with us the fans (Ha Ha, )

Please correct me if I am wrong here.

If GFH own 25% and Leeds sold McBadgekisser for £11m
Do GFH get £2.75m of that?
and should they be funding 25% of all player purchases?
and paying 25% of all other bills?

Agree1 Disagree0

18 Feb 2016 10:29:19
I think you'll find that as Mr Cellino's company own 75% of LUFC, they decide how any funds coming into the club are spent . I. E player purchases, ground purchase, training ground purchase . They only receive a payment if Mr Cellino decides not to spend the income and divvy up the profits instead of re investing them . So as sleeping partners they only really receive money when they decide to sell there share . If the club is worth more than now, they receive a profit, if less they lose or can hold on to there shares Untill it's worth more . I'm not a business lawyer, so not 100% on this . But as the majority shareholder, the decision on how income is spent is wholly Mr Cellino. Additionally if Cellino wanted to invest more money into the club, he would ask GFH for a 25% share of extra expenditure, if they didn't have it or choose not to invest, he would be left to pay it all or not spend at all .

Agree1 Disagree0

18 Feb 2016 12:09:52
Or he could take the decision to borrow extra funds, which would become the debt of LUFC, of which GFH would take on 25% of . In other words GFH have no say in what Cellino does with the club, as long as it's legal . So to all those saying they are holding the club back, they can't be . They have no power, they don't have to invest . They just have faith, like we do on Cellino turning the club into a profitable business / football club . They stand to lose money if he messes up! As a shareholder in a major bank, I have no say on how the bank is run, I can maybe vote on how the bank invests money, but the final say goes to the major shareholder . I was using this as an example, I hold no shares in a bank or anywhere! In case HMRC are reading!

Well done Raggity. That's it in a nutshell. The agreement entered into by Cellino is that he cannot issue any new shares. In short, they wish to keep their share of the cake. Elanora Sports, holds 75% Cellino 2%, Patel 3% GFH the other 20%. There is a clause in the contract (according to YEP) that if Cellino fails to meet the running of the club GFH can buy his shares for £1.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Feb 2016 15:56:22
So all really that happened was Cellino just took over 72% of the debt, in order to try and turn the club into a profitable business, if he can't manage the debt, Ir running cost of the club, he sells it back to GFH for £1? So he has nothing to lose, just all to gain, if he manages to turn a profit .

neil now saying 4 players he could of signed i guess mc will pay wages no . evans talking about summers signing after saying not much money . question is will mc every spend so far i guess more money coming in from selling than buying and he said buy club back did he no. need to stop watford scoring then we could get 0-0 1-0.

NR doing a bit of spouting off in the media! Was he taking legal action against Leeds, for his dismissal? If that was the case, I was under the impression, that speaking out, would not in , his best interest?

Well seen as it's cup weekend memories of the 5th round for me was at ER in 1977 beating Man City 1-0 with Cherry's late winner in front of nearly 48,000 and QPR 1987 with Ormsby's winner at the kop end unbelievable atmosphere at both games with fans locked out.

My worst memory was 1964/ 65 my first trip to wembley as a kid. Lost 2-1to liverpool after extra time, have hated St John since that day. Best has to be 1971/ 72 beating arsenal 1-0 although clarkie got the winner my hero that day was mick jones.

Was at Nottingham for the Semi replay against Man U. We soaked up so much pressure you were almost wanting them to score to put us out of our misery. The pressure was almost unbearable until Billy came up with the back header from the Johnny Giles free kick. It wasn't me that knocked out the Ref at the end of the match! I was in the stand not quite believing what we had seen. It was even better than beating Liverpool 4-2 in the first home game after being promoted.

I was also there best moment ever when Billy back headed goal with only minutes to go, gave up ticket to Tamla Motown Revue at the Odeon on the same night best decision!

Morning siblings. Lots of comment on the Cellino Out campaign, so just thought I would add that I agree with most posts. Does anyone know exactly why this campaign has gathered pace all of a sudden? Broken promises, well, we have had those since he walked through the door? Lack of transfer activity? Well, we did bring in a couple of players and extended the Bridcutt loan, the right players have to be bought in at the right price, do we just want signings for the sake of it who turn out to be a waste of time. As I have said before, we don't know what is going on behind the scenes, what is the true financial state, is Cellino still going to sell etc. The biggest worry of all as pointed out by Speedy and others, what will we get instead if he goes? Another Bates/ GFH or worse! Now that is enough to drive anyone to drink. MOT bruvvers an sisters.

Reason why these few people have made the spotlight are (in no particular order) .

People who moan the most/ loudest always gets the most attention.

Papers love negative stories, bad news sells.

MC does make it easy for the papers to slag him off, so they will side with these small group of Leeds fans.

I also think the press is going to town on this because MC is "different" to us, he doesn't behave like he should in their opinion.

AT the game I was parked just 2 cars away from the protest van with the light show, was a clever thing to do but it was just a few guys and a van/ projector, at one stage 8 coppers were there, more than the people who showed the thing and their team. No crowds of people gathered by this van to show mass support for them.

I even got interviewed on look North which was aired on TV! (so now I am famous ha ha) , I just said what a lot of people are saying, i. e no big fan of MC but who would buy us if he went as no one with any real money has come in before and these stunts just tend to show us in a negative light/ effective the team.

Funny how no one from the protest group is able to say what they would do if MC goes because we have been up for sale before and the fact is no one with the cash (real cash) was that interested or they would have bought us for sure. It is easy to say what problems are but how about providing the answers to those problems instead.

So for me until anyone better comes in with more money to run the club, let Steve Evans build up this team, MC to support him in the summer when much more choice of players around/ better prices, if evans can sign our 2 guys on loan and then add a quality goal scorer or 2, and maybe 2 more quality players then we will be close.

If MC sacks SE or doesn't support him in the market then we all have to start again so I'm hoping the mad one doesn't do that, I would be disappointed if MC rips everything up and starts again in summer cause I do think that the team has some of the basics in place now to build on. just needs time and around 4 quality signings in the Chris Wood/ David/ Bridcut class or better.

agree with all posts. I know I must look like MC's biggest fan but I actually am not. I do think he shoots himself in the foot and says silly things but I do think he means well and consideing the state of this club he has not done bad and I think we have moved foward under his guidance which is the main thing as long as we are moving forward (no matter how slowly) it means things are going the right way. this club has moved backwards so fast over the years from champs league to league one that I am content with little improvment slowly but surely and until a better answer comes along MC will get my support I have seen too many bad things at leeds to not be content at the moment.

Does anyone on hear think Cellino didn't do due diligence and thought he had bought Leeds outright.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Feb 2016 17:47:02
Hi Mickey, he didn't do due diligence, which is the equivalent of buying a second hand car without going to check it out first! But I knew he had bought 75% it's going to be difficult to get rid of the skint Arabs someone is going to have to offer over the odds before they would agree to sell their shareI reckon.
