No! He must stay in hiding for a while longer. The quality of posts over the last week has hit an all-time high. No need to spoil things.

Beradi. Samba. Cooper Taylor

Byram Murphy Adeyemi Dallas

Antenucci. Wood

Subs maybe, Doukara for Antenucci

Oneleeds Chris Samba alongside Sol Bamba would be a great pairing! lol.
Really don't think 4-4-2 is the answer, its pretty antiquated these days, you just end up getting swarmed in midfield. If we wanted to go two up top then Rosler likes 3-5-2 but I hate that formation (man utd conceded a truck load last season playing that system). I think people just need to give it all a little time. Dallas and Wood are new to the squad and it will take a little while for them to form a partnership with each other and Sam. They have goals in them at this level. Also we look pretty solid playing the system (only one open play goal conceded in 3 games how many times could we say that last year?) so its a bit early to start panicking and talking about changing everything.
The next match could change my mind, we really should win that one, but a point against a relegated team (even if we should have seen it out really) and a point away with a tired squad after a mid week extra time game is not great but pretty much acceptable.

I can't see us playing 4-4-2 so early in season and also away from home, manager won't do it yet.

I think it is too early to really say if 4-3-3 is going to work or not but even if it does in some games you have to use something else, so re your team above sure at home against the Wendies you could do that but I don't think he will.

Nothing wrong in being hard to beat and in seems current system could give us that, especially away from home but even if early days in my opinion performances have been OK (if dull last 2) but we are still prob 2 quality players short to have real chance of a top 6 but a lot of us knew that anyway.

We do seem to lack support to Wood in the away 2 games so far, the home one seemed OK and we did create a decent amount of chances, so it is still a work in progress but at least we seem to have a plan, way of how we want to play so compared to last 2 season's that is a step forward.

I think we can beat Bristol so 5 from 9 is OK as 2 of those away and for me a good test will be on Saturday as Wendies always give us a good game and they look OK so far.

Let us see where we are after Saturday.

Would Play Belusci instead of Cooper and, although I think Antenucci is at present by far and away our best finisher, I would drop him to the bench. This would give Wood more time to settle into the present system. The sticking point is where the pace and creativity is going to come from in order to turn a solid display into one full of opportunities. That's what Rosler is paid to find or create. Too slow getting forward at the moment and the telling passes are not being made. Time might be the answer. It would have to be Mowatt at the moment perhaps Phillips in the future? And when Cook comes back? Over to you Uwe.

More good posts. I think the answer is 442. I do like the not giving away goals but I'd like to see us score some. 442 is a little antiquated but this is the Championship not the echelons of the PL. I just believe no defense will relish coping with Wood and Antenucci together especially as they also got to worry about Sam n Stu. I honestly don't mind winning games 3-1 as opposed to hoping we nick one once we get into the last 20 minutes.

Hopefully the squad will improve as the seasons goes on, my only concern is their tepid style with no sign of the "heavy metal" yet. Against Reading there was a lack tempo back to front so that is what I would like to see against Bristol - Dortmund pace

only one good thing to say we are not beaten over 90 minutes but not as good as it sounds .

{Ed013's Note - Rather draw than lose! Lets just hope that Bristol are still as poor as they have been in their first 2 games and goals will come. We knew it was a tough start to the season}

yes but keep drawing and down bettre win 5 draw 1 loss 1 be top at end of season

Spot on Ed. We were all dreading the first month of the season and when we beat Bristol City 10-0 everyone will be positive again. Jeez, after the Everton game everyone had us already promoted (despite playing Everton reserves), now we've drawn a couple of games (which I would have taken before a ball was kicked), the doom and gloom has set in already. It's going to be a long season and with a young side which will make plenty of mistakes but we all knew that anyway. We will also win plenty of games and I still reckon we'll be a top 10 side by the end of the season which is progress.

I think we are going to need everyone to pull their weight and dig in - fans n all - we have a lot of games and it's tough- let's get behind the team - constructive critism ok but let's not start tearing the boys apart - new team (ish)new manager new system - let's get behind em - I was disappointed yesterday and luckily didn't travel far but I will take a draw over a loss any day! Encourage and support - I am frustrated as the next man with certain performances but hey we all have off days😃 let The management team do their job

Have to agree George. 4-4-2 suits our squad better than 4-3-3

Thanks Deda. I posted above more about what I think on the 442. It will put Adeyemi and Cook under more pressure but you can play a slightly higher defensive line and if you concede oh well. Not all the strikers in the championship have the finishing capabilities of Aguero.

Reading some posts it's a bit sad to see a few people calling for Mowatt to be dropped. After all he was our fans and players player of the the season last year, and a player that has an eye for goal. I know he has a lack of pace but if he had that aswell as his other talents he would be playing for a top premier league side by now IMO.
Be careful what you wish for.

Like Mowatt adds a lot to team but if Phillips progresses like I think he will Mowatt wiĺ have to up his game to keep his place

Mowatt hasn't been good in first few games so would only be fair to drop if others are playing better

Good post Matty. Mowatt will merely be benched and will get his place back in rotation but he is the obvious candidate to make way. It ain't going to be our wide players Sammy and Stuart. Adeyemi has begun his Leeds career very well and Cooky will be back next week. Mowatt very good player to have on bench but bottom line I wanna see Mirco and Wood play together.

Despite being in Florida for first 3 games of the season and having followed all 3 games on Phil Hay twitter, even from right over here I can feel a certain vibe doubting Chris Wood already. Please let's not go down the same line as Leeds fans have over the years with various players. The majority of us have Leeds United chosen for us, where as Chris Wood chose us. 2 games does not constitute a crisis at any level of football. Remember Mark Viduka didn't score his first Leeds goal till back end of September and what a legend he turned out to be, best number 9 I've ever witnessed at Elland Road since 1975. Where Wood suffers is a killer ball merchant from midfield and where as I like and rate all our midfield players individually, there is no killer ball merchant amongst them, a midfielder capable of opening up a tight defence is paramount, similar to a Wes Hoolahan/Alex Pritchard type player would bring out the best of any attack. Keep the faith all, can't wait to be back at ER Saturday! MOT

Wlood not at fault, midfield too slow at getting forward. Need to be putting baĺl through quicker and getting up to support. Confident we will get there new system takes a few games to get sorted. The fact we are unbeaten while we are getting used to it bodes well.

I agree BIGE. I don't know why a lot of fans are so impatient. We're two games into the season in a very difficult first month playing a new system with new players. I for one am satisfied with two points from first two games. In hindsight, we should have beaten Burnley but this team will get better and at least we haven't been beaten yet.

I think we'll get stronger as the season progresses and will definitely be top 10. I don't know what Mr Untouchables would have to say about that?, You can change your log Jeff, but your silly posts are a dead giveaway.
