last season neil warnock in an interview he siad he wanted to get started as soon as possible and major surgery was needed with the empasis on quality not quantity so far we have seen 1 person come in when he wanted 3 yes i hear talks of takeover /invetsment surely a mere investment wouldnt take this long the positions we need to my knowledge is another central defender a right back a left back we need midfielders and alos a striker there have been some good players already signed for rivals kirkland and joe mattock @wednesday other teams have signed players yet we =have signed pearce i am worried that when we are able to sign players we going to be left with the quantity and not qaulity again

I have a feeling that no players will be signed until well into july. If people remember, before warnock went on holiday, bates was on yorkshire radio saying, there was no chance he was paying players wages out of season. So i feel this is why theres not even been free tranfers. I know we got pearce but i think that would of been one of warnocks top transfer. If we hadn't of acted fast on that one, there wasn't a chance pearce would of been still up for grabs in july.
I really do hope this takeover isn't a smoke screen, to keep us loyal fans from goin nuts. We will know if my theory is correct, when Bates comes out and says, the investment/takeover is not happening. Then we will all know just how much bates is taking us for mugs.
lets hope this is not the case. Don't know about you guys but i'm getting a little sick of people taking are club for a ride.

Kirklands awful and injury prone

There will be more quality players available shortly as other clubs start to bring in new players . i think we will be looking at mid prem league players if things do actually go to plan with the takeover

The amount of money NW is given will determine what calibre of player we get in,a decent amount and we may see 2 or 3 premier players coming in,whatever the amount Im sure he will buid a squad capable of challenging for promotion,IMO,If NW hadnt been reassured that money will be forthcoming ,he would have walked,we may be suprised at the players he brings in,lets hope so.normywhite.

I'm sure there were at least two posts that said announcement from ER will be today Saturday! You heard it here first. What's the betting we hear the sa,e as the last few weeks sweet FA .........on a more positive note not a fantastic performance and there were times we looked like England looked like a mid table Championship side (I speak from some good knowledge as I'm a season ticket holder at my beloved ER) but congrats England was a good victory and a decent match well done boys phil Bramley

LUST damage the clubs image with negative protests, resulting in poor league performances and bad morale for the club, get behind your club instead of dirty acts, show better support next season to the team instead of focusing it on bates during match time

LUST is this way but it will drop out of the picture when it forces the good times (i.e. big money) to roll again. It's relationship with the fans and the media is kinda symbiotic and bipolar. It needs Ken to be Ken in order to exist and have an image and its existence and image is somewhat repulsive at times admittedly but that will evaporate once the takeover is complete. Big words for a Leeds fan, huh? Leeds fans are no dummies and always best fans in world. On and on....

LUST should concentrate on supporting the team instead of the anti bates stuff he is a rich man and doesnt give a stuff for other peoples views cos he can he wont be around forever leeds will stop giving him the attention he craves

If they wern't about doing what they are doing we wouldn't be getting any investment from anywhere. theres only so far you can push people and bates is close to going too far with the fans . if he doesn't sell up he knows he will feel it in the pocket once fans get beyond that point

I agree with the last post. We would not be looking at investment/takeover, if these lads hadn't of done what bates said and put there money were there mouth is.
Sometimes i feel we're the most passionate fans but sometimes the most gullabel fans. What do you want? Master Bates to change are best assetts into money and place that in his bank. We pay top whack, hard earned money to watch are beloved club, is this reflected with the qualityplayers on the pitch?
How many chairman do you know, that call there supporters morons. This egotistical man lives in Monaco for one reason, He is a very greedy man and doesn't like to pay out anything if he can help it.
If bates sells up now, i guess i would look at him differently and remember him for the good things he did at the beginning.

Ive been very critical of lust in the past...protests etc.
now im not so sure and see the need for a collective voice.
now im grateful to lust

Surely if LUST are responsible for the investment/takeover then they should have some idea of who it is and what is going on but they clearly know nothing, either that or they are keeping it from us like Bates.

If LUST are responsible for the investment then they will be keeping quiet just like Bates. Any wrong words and the deal might be off. Let's be patient. The fact that nothing whatsoever is emanating from ER means that a take over is imminent or Bates would have been spouting his usual stuff that he will talk to someone when he has seen proof of funding.
