Think the striker Warnock's after will be someone in the rod Wallace mould, pacey and plays off the target man,but I just dont think it'll be mad max. From what little I've seen this year would think buyin a right winger'd make more sense and give poleon a chance. But our Neils very much like his apprentice blackwell,he only likes buyin centre halves and strikers

Believable0 Unbelievable3

Poleon will never be good enough for Leeds

Agree4 Disagree18

Pollen has scored more goals for the first team than barney! So has gray, lot less time on the pitch too! How S**t is barney??

Agree8 Disagree2

Poleon has a bright future at Leeds.

What would you rather, a win in the cup v Chelsea or a win in the league against Boro?

Agree for Chelsea

Disagree for Boro

Remember promotion is more important than a cup scalp!

Believable19 Unbelievable42

Both and why not

Sick to death of all the excuses from are so called fans. 19000 for Leeds united in any league is a disgrace . Then The missing 18000 turn out on Wednesday for the blue ****. well shame on you all . I really hope the mighty whites get the win for all the 19000 loyal fans . The other 18 let's see what your excuses are for the boro game 3 days later ? 19000 of us Mot .

Believable16 Unbelievable21

Ye youre so right, the irish, norwegian fan contingent (to name but a few) are disloyal alright for not being there on saturday or at every single game

Agree14 Disagree0

What a hero you really are! Try joining the forces and see if you can get back off tour every weekend to support the mighty whites! Lots of costs serving your country!

Agree11 Disagree3

If people want to be playing Chelsea again for 3 points then we need nearly full attendance for the rest of the season.

Agree6 Disagree6

You are echoing my post earlier. You can bet your last pound that when we do get back in the prem the 18000 that come back will all say we were there when Leeds only had 19000 I was one of the 19000 thing is we who were there for every game will always know the truth # glory hunters

Agree2 Disagree8

Who the f*** are you to tell me its shamefull cos Ive made a choice to be missing from ER?
Perhaps some of us just got fed up of Bates' antics, of watching shyte and paying over the top to do so.
Once the takeover was confirmed I havn't missed a home game, I'll be at the Chelsea game and the Boro game, and every home game I can attend work permitting.
Just remember, in spite of how big some Leeds United supporters think we are, we have been in the wilderness for years, so its gonna take a bit more effort on behalf of the new owners to get the fans back.
In the meantime I'll continue to be a glory hunter, but one that has made a stand on an issue I felt strong enough about to boycott ER.
Frankly I dont give a s*** about your opinion.

Agree23 Disagree4

Divisive and unhelpful

Agree18 Disagree1

Well said

Agree5 Disagree3

The football for the past couple of years
has been poor. Its not a disgrace if we dont pack the stadium. Why would i pay to be stressed out and watch long ball. Atleast things are on the up at the moment but we defo need a LB and a quality CM. Vinny.

Agree8 Disagree2

If I had the cash I would hold an away and home season ticket. Thing is I DON'T. Doesn't make me any less of a supporter. I was there for the majority of the league 1 years, but have hit hard times, and I'm sorry but theres more to life than football (I.e. food and drink, house maintenance and car)

Agree8 Disagree0

Well said vinny mate my thoughts entirely Karl mot

Agree1 Disagree0

Stop moaning

Agree2 Disagree0

Vinny how do you know what we need if you dont go? and which CM would you drop then as we already have too many CM's hence why green has been pushed to the right and thats while Austin is injured too

Agree0 Disagree2

I'm not vinny but I go to games . we need creative midfielder cause in my opinion green Norris and Austin are all similar . someone like peter whittingham or fraulin or even Steve mcphail back! Karl mot

I go every week to watch the Mighty Whites.
Not going Wednesday though, will leave that to the glory hunters.
Thanx though to the other 19000 -20000 who come every other week and the 3000+ who travel away.

Believable15 Unbelievable12

So you go to every match but missing the chelsea game....why?

Agree10 Disagree0

Probably because of all the glory hunters buying tickets before us and stealing the seats we sit in for all the other games.

JP

Agree1 Disagree4

Its not big or clever mate to miss the chelsea game . if you think this proves you are a "hardcore" supporter you're deluded . grow up pal

If Chelsea play anything like they did today, we should beat them easy! Just don't give them time on the ball! easy!

Really hoping chelski win this cup,(after extra time and penalties of course).
Then on wednesday we can be be crowned best team in the world on the pitch, as well as off the pitch (which of course we already know :))

dont forget people who are saying that there isnt enough fans, that its christmas and people dont have money to spare. also around christmas you meet your family so cant get to the game. anorther point evreyone has bought tickets to chelsea because we are in the quater final and chelsea are a big club!

Believable8 Unbelievable9

This is completely missing the point, the people slating the attendances are not slating people that cant afford it. It is slating the bates out brigade that still havent come back because they love hating bates more than they love Leeds now.

16 Dec 2012 08:38:34
surely if warnock is wanting a striker that can put pressure on becchio and mccormack he must be intending on bringing in a striker of there quality .maybe a bid for a rivals striker .to me this would be beckford, austin, murry or craig mackail-smith .

Believable6 Unbelievable2

I don't see why we would put a striker top of our new players list I think a new lb and rw will be more beneficial peltier needs sorting out we would have got beat yesterday by a good team because of his mistakes. Another player like Thomas on the other side would be great and then think about a striker

Agree8 Disagree1

I agree that's why we need gradel as well as Thomas . gradel weighs in with goals and the strikers we have are decent . no need for rb with byram but need a lb . if not play drury or white either would be better than peltier Karl mot

Agree2 Disagree0

Ipswich are a good team... They won 3 in a row and beat Milwall who were 13-14 unbeaten before that since Mccarthy has come in.

Michail Antonio this would be a great buy

Yes he looks a real thorn in the side of the opposition every time I see him play . powerful quick and direct

If Gfh are taking over should he be saying things like that? is he just jelous because he knows that they are going to invest and he knows that its possible we might do something and he wont be apart of it? hmmmmm LIAMMOT!!

Hes only still here cos he wanted to be chairman for chelsea game. I pity da fool. Club president thereafter, just making jobs up now.

Chelsea's hopes of finding time to prepare for Wednesday's Capital One Cup quarter-final at Leeds United have been further hampered after they were forced to put back their return flight from Japan due to noise restrictions over night-time take-offs from Toyko.

The European champions had hoped to return to London immediately after Sunday's final of the Club World Cup against Corinthians, arriving back at Heathrow in the small hours of morning. However, they will now spend an extra night in Yokohama and depart at around 11am on Monday, touching down in the early afternoon, a delay that will effectively deny the squad another 12 hours' recovery time ahead of the cup tie at Elland Road.

Chelsea had always intended to travel to West Yorkshire, for a fixture that has been eagerly anticipated by fans of both clubs, on the day of the game with preparation time horribly limited for Rafael Benítez and his players. The interim first-team manager has admitted he started drawing up a potential lineup and assessing scouting reports on Leeds as early as Friday last week though, at that stage, he could not gauge which players would be available for selection for the confrontation with the Championship side.
