I have been very very critical of Wood. So to be fair I must, on this occasion, applaud the goal he scored. Criticism and praise where due.

also love that we had far less of the ball but more coners and more shots on target that is good use of the ball and less pedistrain that recent leeds performances. wait till this team gels really feel positive. or maybe it is wind.

Just checked out this Jansson chap on Fifa. He doesn't look half bad.

If he completes, with Bridcutt confirmed, we finally have a decent spin.

Not being negative but now Bridcutt has signed permanently, would anyone else be surprised if he started playing s**t ala Sol Bamba, Andy O'Brien and many others who've been class on loan and then their legs fall off not long after signing deals?

I hope not as a lot of us our pinning our hopes on this one.

I don't think there's a danger of that with him. That's a danger will all players MM but Birdcage strikes me as a proper professional and beside I don't think Monkey or Clot will allow such insubordination.

I think monk would be like that certain teacher at school who you know you can play up and get away with it . He needs to dish out some severe rollickings if there is any more underperforming from any players . Let's hope he already has .

bamba still dodgy wood plays because what cost 3m ball control bad good news bridcutt and verboom that will settle things down but still need striker . unless other now come on . let's hope this is the start of our season tonight 2-0 would be good.

Agreed. We haven't had a striker who you expect to score since Becchio, Beckford and McCormack left. Even Smith looked like he could. Morison couldn't score but led the line ok. Wood can't score, can't lead the line or hold the ball up. He scores penalties unless its against Doncaster. We haven't had a good consistent centre back since Butler's legs went. Bruce was good on his day Naylor too until age caught up. Then? We need better and soon.

Morning people, so relieved to finally got Bridcutt over the line we all know what he can do and what he brings to the side, looks like we will have verboom the Belgian left back too, don't know much about him but sounds promising and means we can let Charlie go and make some money, I would be content with the squad if we now signed Vydra and Moore or better let's hope so come on Leeds get it sorted then let's put a run together and start challenging and kicking ass in this league mot 😎 brothers.
