here's one for you, play off final against huddersfield, extra time after a controversial game that we should have won in 90 minutes. charlie taylor of all people scores the winner, even after saying a few weeks later that he wants to see out his contract. hero or villain? who would miss him? based on how much players get these days, what contract would you offer him to stay? if leeds do go up do we think he might stay?

Think he will stay if we go up. We will be ale to pay premier wages so no incentive for him to leave,

Good players are worth keeping. He is a good player. Without breaking the bank. i'd make him an offer he can't refuse if we go up or not! Its this year or next year so. Make it worth his while to stay. Save us spending on his replacement should we go up.

i love taylor and always have, he is class not like bryam i think taylor is good enough for prem and understand he wants better money and chance to test himself, improve and maybe even tie down an england sqaud. I will always cheer him on in a leeds shirt and how much we are missing him with bardiri covering. and wish him the best when he goes.

I don't understand why people let beckford off and made him a hero yet taylor a villian, beckford was worse in few ways and made himself very sperate from the sqaud by not traverling with them etc. although i don't dislike beckford just don't get the diffence in opinion. also think beckford was over rated as well

right fellow leeds fans leeds are going up, I do not say this as a blinded baised leeds fan, i do not say this on a whim or due to something silly like stats, I say this as my second little girl was born yesterday and leeds won.

now some of you may know my eldest is a right little bock and we always conceed when she is near me and when she saw leeds we lost 5-1, but last night we won so my second child is lucky so leeds will go up.

glad to see another win when not playing well (sign of a good team) wood still scoring and green playing well, he has really come good. finally on a post futher down about baridi, cooper is our weak link his defending is so bad even i can't defend him and i liked him but outside of that beradi is weak link on left.

his right footed makes him a target and he does make mistakes (huddelfeidl 1st goal) not he is not awful and playing out of position he is doign well, but worst of a good bunch and will be targeted in play offs should taylor be missing, and talyor is a huge miss so sorry i don't have a son to captain leeds but i have given us a beautiful mascot.

Congratulations Bermo and to your ever suffering wife (for letting you near her, not once but twice) My only advice (having two girls) is - they will give you many sleepless nights as teenagers so before that take all the pampering you can get.

cheers everyone, i was gutted i never got my boy but my girls are perfect and wouldn't change anything. and to answer speedys question if i was to name her on how she was conviveced it wouldn't be speedy but blind drunk, how did we manage that.

Polly my eldest always brought leeds back luck but so far Livia has seen leeds win, Orient get their first win of the year (orient close to heart as work closely with them and their fans on a play) and Arsenal who i hate almost as much as i love leeds get spanked so she is a very good and lucky girl as for teams they can follow leeds (polly loves leeds our song and kop kat and really enjoys football) they can follow palace as that's my dad's team or they can follow orient as proper london club.

I might allow others if i have to but not millwall or arsenal that will get them adopted or sold on ebay very quickly. thanks everyone for the lovely messages again I love my leeds family on here and very grateful MOT

Clever move by Reading, go to the leeds game and get tickets for Blackburn for a fiver and a quid for kids. Basically taking advantage of an already big croud to make sure they get a decent croud for rovers. Clever but once again highlighting how we are the cash cow of that league.

Good work lads yesterday evening. Really important win although not at our best. I Think Monk is doing the right thing when he´s rotating the players. Dallas comes back next game together with Bridcutt. And Pedraza will also start again. MOT

Rather see Mo have a start than Ped, and, after the Bristol game O'Kane instead of Brids, seems to play further up the pitch than Brids

Just seen an article where Redders said Mowatt was better than Pablo, as he scores and Pablo can only do nutmegs haha. Mowatt 2 goals in the whole of last season, Pablo 4 already and he's got 5 assists in 2017 so far. I liked Mowatt, but that is just delusional.

Take what Redfearn has to say with a skip full of salt. Served the club well in the academy role but not good enough for the top job. Clearly still bitter

15 Feb 2017 11:59:32
So the question is. Why does the monk not realise there is too big a gap between defense and attack for hernandez to cope. He needs to bridge the gap with a solid ball playing passing midfielder! Team just dosen't seem to play with unity like 4-6 weeks ago! Did ped play? Sub? Do well? Barrow play? Sub? Do well?

Couldn't get there last night. Just seen Woodies goal. I'd have been fuming if that had been allowed against us ! But then again, their goal was in the 96th minute, 1 minute beyond 5 added minutes. Them's the breaks I guess

We should've had a stonewall penalty, funny how Johnson isn't crying about that.

It was very welcome three points against Bristol but not a very convincing performance. Bristol looked lively at times but have a sloppy defence. Even with that we created very little - an opportunist goal for number one and a deflection for number two. In the last quarter they could have scored three and if they had converted any of their chances earlier than the 95 minute we could have been in trouble. Our defence had a better shape with jannson back but the mid field was too deep lying and there was too big a gap between the midfield and our attacking group. On a positive note there were a couple of times when we got more than one into their box. t was interesting that Greene was man of the match. We are a much better team than what we were but we don't look like premiership potential yet. We may still get into the play offs but if by some chance we get through at Wembley we would need a full scale change of personnel throughout the team and that is a very tall order. Staying up would be very difficult. Next season would be a better bet. However, there is no doubt it is better to go up and come straight down than not to go up at all.

Hi Hess, I think you might be been a little harsh. This team has some very good players, whom I believe will cut it at the next level, unfortunately if we do not go up it may not be with us. I do believe with a few fine tweaks we will go on a run again, hopefully this was the start today a confidence booster. For 60 minutes we were by far the better team and for the first time since Derby we looked in control of the midfield. Then for whatever reason, possibly nerves due to the bad run, we allowed them back into it. At the end of the day this is the Championship, it is unpredictable and any team can beat anybody and every team will have a dip in form. Is this the end of ours? we can only hope. Brighton seem to be entering there’s, Hudds have there’s to come and Wednesday will implode soon, to many names on too much money. Newcastle are still liable to dropping points although I think they have enough in there squad to go on and win the league. The main threat we face is Norwich they have had a prolonged bad run, they seem to be just coming out of it and have managed to gain enough points to be within touching distance the playoffs. A massively important game against a hugely improved Ipswich on Saturday awaits. A win could be just the catapult we need.

Agree1 Disagree0

15 Feb 2017 09:31:14
Agreed. My point being were that we were playing Bristol and not creating chances to reflect our dominance. I think we have players who have the potential but are not there yet. Promotion this year might be a bridge too far. Promotion would be great even if we came straight back down as it would give the club a financial boost and it would be a good year of watching the best teams play. At the moment on performances so far Newcastle, Brighton and Huddersfield are better than us although Huddersfield have a very small squad and that could be a problem for them. Sheffield and Norwich are at least as good as us. Derby may have blown any chance they had. So we are one of six that could make it and I haven't included Reading who keep getting late in the day wins. I think we have an outside chance but that's what it is.

Agree1 Disagree2

15 Feb 2017 10:14:43
Problem is most of teams around us have a game in hand which we have to hope they lose. Wendies and Udders on winning streaks so don't expect them to drop many points which leaves us and Reading . Brighton will drop more points but think they have done enough to stay in top six. Norwich can blow hot and cold but i expected them to be in top six and they will have their focus on that now. Newcastle are up already i think. We are not going to win every match but pretty confident we will finish above Reading. Then the question will be will we have our best team sorted out for play offs. Personally think we play better without Dallas, for all his faults Sacko is more of a threat than him. let's hope our two new flying wingers are up to speed by then.

15 Feb 2017 10:51:54
Reading's next two games are away at Hudds and Brighton, so there will be some guaranteed dropped points in those two games.

15 Feb 2017 11:43:52
I agree BIGE, Dallas is a good player without a position. For me he doesn't have the dynamism to play on the wing in an attacking 4-2-3-1 system, the creativity and positional sense to play central on defensive abilities to play full back. Maybe he would be an ok winger in a old fashioned 4-4-2, but then i have my reservations. I really think when the new lads are up to speed he will struggle to make the match day squad. If Sacko had a slight footballing brain, we would be talking about him as the best in the league. He doesn't though, from what i saw of Barrow last night i don't think Sacko will be in he 11 in the long run. I'd take Reading winning both of them that would be perfect, by the end of the season Reading will have blown out anyway
