It does MM just as I reported about 10 days ago but don't forget Corky will be right on this one. Taylor won't leave this season.

I was also correct in the summer by stating we should and would sign 10 players before the end of August. Corky also said that wouldn't happen.

Looks like you were right George along with 30,000 others that Taylor is on his way. That was some prediction you made a few weeks back!
Seriously though I just had a feeling he would stay for a while as in the Byram situation.
I don't seem to remember saying we wouldn't sign 10 players but its nice to know I have one person keeping a keen eye on my posts. How many have we signed on contracts? Four or five?

Whats scarey is Monk saying Wood is a real talent and will come good, i'm afraid if we don't bring a proper stroker in and have to rely on Wood, we can forget all about the play offs.

The problem for Monk is all these players are the spine of the team and they are the weak links. I was willing to give Wood another chance as he was supposed to be carrying an injury all last season, but he's supposed to be 100% fit now, can anyone tell the difference? My worry with Green was he would become the new Paddy Kenny, decent once but long past his sell by date. I hope he goes on to prove me wrong, but somehow I doubt it. Bamba has been poor for a year now and is still captain. Simply he is not a captain and he is not good enough to be in the team. Now we have Bridcutt (at last) maybe we can start to build a spine of the team. At least we can have a new captain.

I weep hearing all the guys saying we need this and that and to be honest we do. Some of the players Monk has bought into are half decent, but when he ignores the likes of Silvestri and brings in a total liability to take his place then there won't be hope. Wood has been here far too long to stick with him, he needs gone, sorry. Along with Bamba of course, another over rated player who hardly ever produces.

You're right deda land, the huge flaws are in the spine of the team . Now we've got bridcutt a top six centre back and decent striker are desperately needed . I would also put the silver vest back in goal . Come on massimo you know it makes sence lad, think of the millions once back in the promised land . Go and lay out the required 8 million or so.

I like the sound of that Wex. Some names to pass Daddy's way on the defensive side. Reece Burke - he'd be a loan. Alfie Mawson. Hobbs, Hoban and Lescott sure you've looked at too.

Sadly, I really can't think of a decent striker centre forward type whose available for value fee and wages wise. The defensive reinforcement is a must though.
