Matter of days now till next game but still same old team likely to take to field.
I hope on Sunday we give tv audience something better than the drivel we showed last few times we were on.
Please let's have at least a few on target, show some pride. shrew leeds

I don't want to temp fate, but we normally are useless at home to Birmingham

Agree0 Disagree0

And we cannot handle Zigic, and he always ends up hurting us.

Agree0 Disagree0

We're doomed, so may as well go and support someone else. Or we could just stop being so negative and be true supporters!

Im sick of hearing people moan. If we loose a few games were the worst team in the world. Were going through a run of bad form so let's get behind our club. Our Leeds united and stand firm. Back the boys. This team are still building and Rome wasn't built in a day. let's back our boys and be player number 12!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Agree! .

Ok we have to be patient.
When we're we last in premier league?

Well said mate we have been through worse times than this and we will come good under mcdermott fans just need to keep the faith and trust him.

Agree0 Disagree0

We were last in prem in 2004. Its been a tough ride but were not gunner get there by moaning we'll get there by being united! Getting behind the boys and spuring them on. let's be united!

Agree0 Disagree0

If you ant got your tickets yet for sunday get them bought we need to get behind the manager and players and you never know with a decent crowd that might give brian the chance of bringing in a couple of loan signing mot.

How long was Bates in charge?

As the guy said patience is needed with both the owners and the manager. Rome wasnt built in a day and all that sh*te

Agree0 Disagree0

Bates has long gone. Just get behind the team and stop moaning bout anything you can find. God imagine being a Portsmouth fan. they've dropped 3 leagues but I bet they still don't moan as much as us. let's stand together and stop moaning bout sh*t. Were building for future have gfh sold any youth. Did they sell rmc. No! Give them a chance and stop banging on bout bates!

IMHO; this is going to be one hell of a tough season; not only for the supporters, but the Board, B McD, and some senior players as well.

We are simply not good enough to get promoted and, even if we are "lucky" enough we'll come straight down again with the squad we have.

No Funds, can't buy unless we sell, previous managers wasters taking up essential wages for BETTER personnel (They know who they are)

Avoiding relegation is a MUST.

So for me its about securing safety, yes even this early in the campaign, because I just can't see who will be banging in the goals to win games.

Safety secured; bring on the Under 21's, perhaps they'll play with pride and passion.

Not a doom monger . just facing reality.

Spot on, And I agree with the above post survival must come 1st.

Agree0 Disagree0

Won't be a bad thing if we did get up and come straight back down, the parachute payments are worth more than the whole club cost GFH.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree. We have a lot of players who's contracts run out at the end of the season. It's Brian's job to get some of the dross motivated, so we don't have a relegation battle on our hands. Once the season is over we release god knows how many players and then Brian can recruit who he wants. This doesn't bode well for fans this season and I toyed with not getting another season ticket, but what else would I have to moan about on a Saturday. There ain't going to be massive changes this season, but if we get Mowatt, Poleon, Byram, etc playing well then the season isn't a total washout.

Agree0 Disagree0

What you are forgetting is that if we did go up. We would receive 90 million on extra revenue. And on sure a lot of that would be spent on strengthening the team. How do you think teams like stoke. Southampton. And even Wigan stayed in premiership so long? Think before you post mate. But I don't think any chance of going up with this current bunch. So your right in one way
Bob. Wakefield

Agree0 Disagree0

We are no where near being relegation fodder plenty of teams worse than us. Some of you doom and gloomers need to wind your necks in.

Agree0 Disagree0

You do not receive 90 million for promotion. You receive 40 for TV rights

Agree0 Disagree0

To the poster who said . "We are no where near being relegation fodder plenty of teams worse than us"

Suppose you were one of those that said that when we were relegated from Premiership to Championship to Div 1?

Heh, its a FACT we are 4th!

Ooops sorry, that's in the number of goals scored dept if you're doing a hand stand!

Only Yeovil 6 goals
Charlton 8
Bolton 9

have worse records

Thanks for a positive comment for once! that's why I love Leeds.

Seen as we need pace up top. Harry Kane looks quick can also play as a wide / striker. Also the lad up front for Coventry yesterday on the box, looked like Beckford with a good touch. With there money troubles worth a shout looks a very good prospect

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Anybody would look good against such naff opposition, its proven goalscorers we need,

Agree0 Disagree0

Unfortunately proven championship goal scores, the likes ov Alf Sharpe and all the other silly names mentioned are way out off our reach at this moment in time. Things may change but for now we need to be looking at young fearless players who we can develop. As for Wilson the lad has electric pace and is a true finisher. Who in our squad bar maybe Ross would be sat on 10 goals in league one so far this season. Hunt Varney not IMO. A lot off people on hear want Wells but this lad is younger and Quicker. I know Murphy came from league 1 and he has not hit the heights yet, but he's no one to aim for no wide players making runs, no strikers (with pace ) making runs in behind defenders. This is Murphys game when he gets players making good runs his vision will come to the fore and IMO he will turn out to be a good signing.
