The trialist centre back who scored against carlisle was Patrick kanyuka... not quite sure why he was on trial cos he's played for a few non league clubs recently...

Believable0 Unbelievable1

On trial to see if he is any good ? thats why - and his record is poor - no proven ability at this level what so ever - so of course, trial only - free , able and worth a look

Agree2 Disagree2

I played for a few top non league clubs and an old 3rd Division football league club but I was a million miles away from been good enough for Leeds.

ed if we find that we cant make play offs with three four games to go would like to see "the warlock " blood o couple of our promising youngsters taylor ect what u think ? mot ! {Ed013's Note - I would mate, by then he will know who he wants to keep}

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Yeah i actually like charlie taylor.
think he could be good if given the chance to play off nerves and uncertainty that tom lees used to suffer from.yeah the last few play for nothing games would be a real good opp for that

I believe the "trialist" in the behind closed doors game againts Carlisle was Jon Flanagan of Liverpool.

Believable2 Unbelievable8

He wouldn't need a trial, he's a promising young player for a premier league team.

Great performance from Aidy White on Sunday, unfortunately for Leeds that will have alerted premier league teams who know his contract is up in summer and he won't be staying with us.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Leeds have a good chance of going up this season or next unlike 2 months ago when jonny left....i think he'll see the potential of the club and stay!

Agree8 Disagree0

Under SG he would have defiantly been off but I believe he will believe that NW will deliver us promotion so he will stay!

Agree5 Disagree2

Dubious...unfortunately money talks... The only way he ll sign for us if nobody decent comes in with a better offer.
I agree. He s certainly not the finished article. He could do with another full season in the championship to get some consistency and push on to the next level. Warnock is a good coach and could do that. I'd he moves he may disappear into oblivion like so many young (greedy) players who move up too soon. Hope he gets some good advice.

Guys which are the best pubs in the
city center, 16 of us going to the
watford game ,then on the lash

Believable3 Unbelievable0

You do not say what you are looking for but if it is trendy bars then you will find loads either near the river or across city square into the Park Row area. I am going to assume however, that you are looking for real ale (cos that's what I look for in a pub). Leeds is not so well blessed as say York but it does have 5 Wetherspoons (look on their site). Scarborough Taps near the railway station would be a good starting point then head for Briggate nearby where you will find 4 real ale pubs Whitelocks; Pack horse; The Ship and The Queen. Note - this is a shopping street and the pubs are not obvious - all tucked away in alley ways as you walk up the hill on the left hand side of the road. Alteratively (or as well as) head past the wine bars on Park Row towards the Town
Hall - you will find Mr Foley's nearby as well as the Town Hall Tavern across the road and both Vicoria & Veritas around the back. Happy drinking! {Ed013's Note - Try Silks near the cockpit, near the multistory car-park. I am very sure the 16 of you will have fun in there!}

Agree1 Disagree1

If you want atmosphere, You could always go to the three legs, (I'd say Big lil's aswell, but it shut down after the last ''incident''), however you may need a black belt in karate and a chain for your wallet first, lol. having said that my grandad went to them both every week and said they were both fine, as long as you didn't look for trouble.
But there are many Wetherspoons and you could always go to Yates's (1 near on boar lane and 1 up near Merrion centre)

Agree3 Disagree0

Sorry, also forgot Templar which is near the Grand theatre - thats a good pub with plenty of televisions all around it ( I watched an England game there this time last year)

Agree1 Disagree0

What a classy lot we are, the best we can come up with is the Three Legs and Wetherspoons? {Ed013's Note - Cant beat silks mate! Also The Stone Roses Bar also has some great music if your into Indie/Rock}

Agree2 Disagree0

Try the Duncan and the General Elliott - they both have the warm welcome of a haunted pub in Krakow and are populated by various snaggle-toothed demons and wretches. Beer's cheap though...

Agree3 Disagree0

Could try the Vic, Town Hall Tavern and Mr Foleys all within 5 mins walk of the station and further afield the Angel...down a side street off Briggate...Sam Smiths so dead cheap

Agree2 Disagree0

City centre? its called town?

Agree0 Disagree1

Spoons on Millenium Square
