McCarthy or Warnock in, or even Grayson back, otherwise we are going down next season.

Believable4 Unbelievable4

First two makes sense grayson back i suggest you go back to the funny farm lol

Agree3 Disagree4

I wonder how many Grayson bashers are realising the error of their ways. All the talk of top managers coming in to whisk Leeds to the promised land was delusional. We're left praying we don't beat Doncaster on Saturday and give bates a chance to give the job to redfearn. It's a horrible thing to think and say but we're not going to make the play offs now. Did I hear the fans chanting graysons name tonight?

Agree3 Disagree3

To the first response, I think you must be a resident of said funny farm if you were happy with Grayson's sacking!

Agree2 Disagree3

Grayson name was chanted inside the Richo

Agree2 Disagree0

The way we are going we could be in a relegation battle by the end of march

This is one of the worst periods for morale in the clubs history. We'd have be better off with Prutton and Douglas in midfield than those two today. What happened to the passion, even league 1 we still had a good atmosphere, Bates is turning us as sour as him, he's like the dark side in star wars.

here's a song for old times: 15 points, who gives a f**k, super leeds and we're going up! (I wish that were true, way where going we may need that song again)

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Not sure about Prutton and Douglas mate, but Clayton had a few good games at the start of the season which ended up with him being WAY over-rated. He's done nothing for months.

Agree3 Disagree1

Get warnock in with derry our midfield would be sorted you might laugh but he is younger than brown but he never let us down mot

Agree1 Disagree2

Derry was also over-rated.

Agree1 Disagree0

Apparantley we are more than well off for midfielders according to Bates ramblings in the prog on saturday

Agree1 Disagree0

Derry would just leak some team sheets again

Agree1 Disagree1

Thats what this team is missing a derry prutton or douglas our midfield has got no bottle brown 5 years ago maybe but he is to slow now sort it out leeds. years ago we were blessed with players who could dominate midfield bremner giles batty jones kamara for example we aint got anyone like that anymore. we need a midfield bully.

Well Ken, three eminently winnable games eh? 2 down 1 to go. Can you not see and hear the frustration of the fans. I wouldn't mind but I can actually understand what you are trying to do with the stadium and facilities to generate money. But look at it another way and it's been said many times. We pay the highest prices in the league for tickets. Your meal deal, pie and a pint for a £5 is daylight robbery. The programme prices are the highest in the league. You are ripping us fans off. Is it any wonder that season ticket sales are down by half. Why not try lowering prices and doubling the gate. Bradford City charge around £100 for a season ticket and they get 10,000 a match to watch bottom of the table Division 2. You criticise us fans. You do not give a s**t what we say. But beware Ken the tide of anger already high is rapidly mounting against you. I know you don't pick the team but you set the budgets. Why not strike a balance. Increase the playing budget a bit and decrease the building budget a bit. I have been supporting the whites since 1957 and have seen lows and I mean lows. But I keep coming back. However on saturday as I was walking back to the expensive car park I thought to myself why do I keep doing this? Why don't I save myself a shed load of cash and stay at home. Tonights diabolical result has provided a huge moment in my life. Saturday do I go to the match or stay at home and creosote the fence?

Believable5 Unbelievable0

With all the rubbish SG brough in I should think we need to get shut of at least half a dozen players, dont think we need a new manager,we need a svengali.

Agree3 Disagree4

Can i come and watch you do your fence please? Much more exciting than a Leeds match !

Agree1 Disagree0

Do you need a hand with that fence mate..!

Agree1 Disagree0

If you need a hand i could spare a couple of hours be there at 3

14 Feb 2012 22:34:18
Well, gotta be Big Mick in now! Even if he has no time with the team before the Donny game! Can't do any worse!

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Yh- we got to sack Redfearn and the playing squad - they either have no ability or desire (snoddy, lonergan and mccormack excluded) and rebuild from there. We need some hard men and finesse players

Agree4 Disagree0

14 Feb 2012 22:25:46
Sick of this season! Ups and downs yeah but mostly Downs! Don't think I'm the only one who wants next season to come quick because this season we have always been a mid-table team!

Believable3 Unbelievable0

Lets get to 50 points and then be safe from the drop hopefully. the season is a write off now. 6 points from play offs

14 Feb 2012 22:18:27
Danny pugh aint a winger , townsend is a good pacey winger need to start him and with the defence god help the new manager!

14 Feb 2012 22:17:26
Is mick mccarthy able to take over,he will have compensation to sort out with wolves I think its to soon, but I think he is the man for the job.

14 Feb 2012 22:15:18
Hope all you Simon grayson haters are happy now. Shows how good of a manager he was really. He was doing a good job. Bates is the problem we have sold schemiecal Johnson kilkenny howson beckford Gradel etc with him in reign but grayson still did a great job with his hands tied. Redfearn is not the answer! The players coming out saying we will beat coventry and Doncaster. It's very depressing! Bates out!

Believable10 Unbelievable6

Its his rabble thats left he was crap thats why we are s**te,so go get on the anti bates bandwagon me i am gona keep getting behind them MOT

Agree5 Disagree3

I asked my mother what should I be. ?

Agree2 Disagree0

Its funny, when Grayson was in charge? the amount of disagrees would have been higher, bet theyre eating their words now

Agree3 Disagree4

Get real grayson said schemiecal was to blame for all those conceeded last season different keeper same result grayson was a ar5e

Can't take much more I'm having a double brandy and it's off to bed early with the wife . {Ed020's Note - haha oh aye ;) }

Believable4 Unbelievable0

You have more chance of scoring than most of the Leeds team, mate!

Agree3 Disagree0

14 Feb 2012 22:14:06
oh dear oh dear oh dear !!!!!!!!!!! did we really think we would run riot over them ? o dea and white said earlier in week we can get six pionts from next two games lol !! maths nt their strong point then !!mot !!!!

Believable4 Unbelievable0

White will probably tell us we'd have won if we hadnt conceded 2 goals!

Agree3 Disagree0

Na, this time it will be -

" if we'd scored more goals than them, we might have won...."

Ive never been so annoyed and depressed about our Team as I am at the minute. I am writing this season off and not attending any more games. I travelled up and down the country and paying good money and i now feel i not getting any value at all. None of the players look good enough, there's no passion, skill, intensity or tempo. Its severely serious at the minute. We have played 10 men the most season and scored many late goals, this has totally papered over how poor a side we really are.

Well done Mr bates I will not be going to another game season. Im sick of this club and how its run. Ive now a depressing journey 100 miles home and I just don't know why i do it. Call me a fickle fan but ive had enough. This season is a right off and I will only consider going to games again when a new manager and confidence is installed. We look worse than all relegation candidates at the moment, all i can say is think god we got enough points to avoid the drop....how we got them F**k knows! Disgrace!

Believable9 Unbelievable0

We got them because we HAD a good manager who did well with ordinary players and no budget. I'll still be going but I know how you feel mate. If I hadn't already renewed my season ticket I wouldn't be doing so now. {Ed013's Note - I feel the exact same, I wish I could get my 520 quid back}

Agree7 Disagree1

The timing of Grayson's sacking said it all about Bates' intentions - last day of the transfer window and last day for Season Ticket holders to renew at this season's price.

Therefore no further signings for any new manager - and if he employs a cheap option as the new boss it is too late for Season Ticket holders to vote with their feet.

Can't remember when I last felt this low as a Leeds fan.

Agree4 Disagree0

14 Feb 2012 22:05:42
leeds have signed a new shirt sponsor....leeds in association with pampers---[piss at the front, s**t at the back] We need to step up the bates hate campaign on saturday, he is bleeding the club dry.....

Believable5 Unbelievable2

All you are doing is pro longing the agony by renewing your tickets, first time i haven't renewed for over ten years,i have had enough and if the club show any ambition at all i will buy another, but at the moment i can watch more passion and commitment on soldiers field on a sat afternoon

Agree4 Disagree1

14 Feb 2012 22:04:42
So who are you going to try next then Bates?

Believable4 Unbelievable0

14 Feb 2012 22:04:28
Ta ra redders, thanx but no thanx, mr warnock its time too arrive, cos I don't want big mick

Believable6 Unbelievable3

14 Feb 2012 22:04:13
The only positive to come out of tonight.....NR will not get the job.

Believable9 Unbelievable0

I wouldn't bet on it

Agree0 Disagree3

14 Feb 2012 21:59:34
i said give him a chance, hes had it, and with a result like this to the worst team in the league, im sorry to say time to go back into the academy set-up Neil, good effort but its not enough, you dont take off our top scorer when we need wins against teams like this

Believable5 Unbelievable0

After tonites perfomance i would not say coventry are the worst team in the league i think we hold that honour

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Feb 2012 21:58:46
Well Bates, now what? You gave your preferred cheap option four "easy" games and how's he doing? We beat nine men but since then, two games, no points.

Simon Grayson shouldn't have been sacked, It's all very well all the players saying they want Redfearn to have the job - how many of you fell for that? The players know him already, so they know what they can get away with. In other words, they don't want anyone coming in and putting a size ten up their collective ar$es.

Coventry may have only scored with two penalties, but they thoroughly deserved three points. The blame for this lies squarely with Ken Bates. It's all very well saying they are Grayson's players, how many of them do you think were his first choice? Grayson didn't receive enough backing, and I'm not just talking about transfer fees, I'm talking about the disastrous handling of players' contracts.

We need either McCarthy or Warnock in NOW to try and rescue something from this season. The worrying news tonight is that Phil Brown was watching the game - no thanks Phil!

Bates, you've done you're job. Now please move out and let someone with some ambition come in.

Believable10 Unbelievable1

Grayson should have been sacked 12 months ago then we would not have been having this arguement the bloke was out of his depth this club was to big for him.

Agree0 Disagree2

14 Feb 2012 21:58:42
I have supported Leeds for over 40 years now, and I will never go back to Elland Road until Bates has gone!

Much as I hate to walk away from the team, I implore everyone else to do exactly the same and show Bates that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

REDFEARN HAS TO GO, AND NOW!

CLOSELY FOLLOWED BY BATES!

MOT AGAIN - AFTERWARDS!

Believable7 Unbelievable2

Spoken like a true fan,NOT,Im sure youll be sorely missed.

Agree3 Disagree4

I AM a true fan but sometimes you have to make sacrifices, and I am not prepared to put any more money in Bates pocket, and that is the ONLY way he can be hurt.

If you have a better way of getting him out, please feel free, but so far none of the protests and demos have had the slightest affect on HIM!

We have now lost our captain, our manager, and any serious hope of promotion is fast disappearing with them.

I may not be missed, but at least I will not be funding Bates any further.

Agree6 Disagree1

Here here, i feel exactly the same and i am not a glory fan, been going home and a lot of away games for 32 years and this lot are the most spineless, gutless and clueless set of players i have seen in that time, but there again when you invest zero money in the team i suppose its to be expected, that team wouldn't get us out of league 1 0r 2 lets be honest

Agree5 Disagree1

14 Feb 2012 21:55:39
Lost 6 of last 10 league games thank god ! We have the points we have shud just be enuff!! I hope

Believable5 Unbelievable0

If we give points away to teams below us then our total will NOT be enough......

... heaven help us if this is all we can do against a team at the bottom of the league without their captain, and with injury problems!

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Feb 2012 21:53:55
what a joke.... redfern has no experience
at this level and it shows
same starting 11 for 3 games and he wont use any subs
if bates had not sacked grayson we would have beat brighton and coventry
bates needs to go

Believable8 Unbelievable5

We were hardly flying under grayson so chances are results would have been the same. The subs situation and reliance on same 11 bugs me as well, but then again Grayson was the same for picking the same players week after week regardless as well. I think we need completely fresh eyes looking at this squad.

Agree5 Disagree6

We were crap under Grayson and continue to be so under Redfern not the managers the under performing players and Bates are the ones who have to answer.

Agree4 Disagree2

14 Feb 2012 21:52:47
To all you Give Relegation Redfern a chance until the end of the season his sub decisions baffles me, just shows he is not up to the job, McCormack the best Leeds player by far tonight and the stupid stupid decision to take him off and bring on Nunez was shameful, get your heads out of the sand lads we need experience in and we need it now before Doncaster make us look even more inadequate on Saturday. Bate must be wetting himself with laughter over this, he hates us now and always has, can you not all see that jees it's as plain as the nose on your face.

Believable8 Unbelievable0

Shocking decisions with Neil's subs, can't understand the mentality of bringing obrien on when we clearly needed someone to attack Coventry then to take Ross off was a joke. Redfern clearly isn't the answer and I'm now questioning whether he should stay full stop whoever we end up appointing as manager.

I do however believe that as much of a crook Bates may be and what he's said about us when he was at Chelsea, he's a businessman and he knows the only way he'll make his money out of us is for us to get promoted - it may not seem that way sometimes but Bates is in this to make money - screwing us with his own cash isn't in his own interests. I used to work there in the commercial dept and I cannot stress enough how much the general running costs are - that's why we're not spending cash on players NOT because Bates is lining his pockets......again I know it's hard to see sometimes. Things like the new boxes will make a lot of cash for the club (a lot more than the seats they replace (bear in mind there was a huge waiting list for boxes when I was there and believe there still is and the original east stand boxes were priced at circa £35k a season then drinks and food were on top)

Agree3 Disagree0

I was the first to respond, just wanted to add that I'm by no means a bates fan, the total opposite in fact and want him out ASAP, just would like people to understand there is some method in what appears to be his madness. The 2 key problems we have are huge general running costs of the club compared to most clubs in the championship (and premiership to be fair) and secondly Bates is one of the least wealthy owners in the league (I think he's actually the second least wealthy owner in the league) - combine these 2 factors and the result is exactly what we're seeing - very small transfer budget and below average wage budget for the league. We need investment OR Bates to be bought out desperately if we're going to progress

Agree4 Disagree0

Bates can't be that poor, didn't he recently buy 70 - 80% of Leeds Utd from whoever owned us (whoever that may have been!)

Agree0 Disagree0

"below average wage budget for the league", didn't Bates tell us recently that we had one of the highest player budgets in the league?

Agree2 Disagree0

Would like to know how many chairmen throughout the four leagues HAVEN'T spent one penny of 'there' own money on there football club

Agree1 Disagree1

Remember this is Bates were on about, hes done nothing but feed lies to us good fans, and hes probably just making excuses for why hes lining his own pockets

Agree1 Disagree0

Check this link for wealth of chairmen - you'll see what i mean about Bates being poor in comparison - £30m, poor when you look at people like the Southampton owner worth £3billion. In the grand scheme of things he's poor and effectively we're equal bottom with Donny and Barnsley in terms of the wealth of our owner

Agree0 Disagree0

He got out with sg, wouldent roll over for bates, leeds fans,

Agree2 Disagree0

14 Feb 2012 21:49:24
its not just you who thinks clayton is crap, the thing is Johnny howson did all his running in the team for him before he went out injured, clayton was left to do the ball playing,he has been found out now,we have won 3 games since howson went out injured against 10 man burnley which was lucky, ipswich which was very lucky again against 10 men and bristol against 9 men,the current team doesn't have the right balance, anyone who watches the side can see that...the point being a lot of fans thought howson sale was good business, prob the same fans who thought gradel was average, the current team is relegation fodder....have to say the last 2 subs were very strange decisions to say the least tonight...

Believable5 Unbelievable1

He was a world beater a few weeks ago,Howson was a waste of space,Grayson didnt know what he was doing, now its come back all is forgiven, typical of some Leeds fans, wheres all the Redders fans now?,Fergie would struggle with the players weve got, need new manager and new players, this seasons already a write off, come on Bates, stop taking the cheap option.

Agree4 Disagree1

Bs only peolple who know very little about howson thought it was a good sale, anyone with half a brain could see he was doing a different job for the team this year...one that nobody else in our squad can clearly do!

Agree0 Disagree0

14 Feb 2012 21:48:54
i would not mind simon grayson back

Believable7 Unbelievable4

Sg built a massive squad with mainly average players,HE brought them in not Bates, yes he was limited with money, but there were far better players he could have gone for, with too many donkeys in the squad its going to be hard for whoever comes in to get shut and free money up,Grayssons gone, leave it be.

Agree3 Disagree4

How many of the players Grayson signed were his first choice though?

How many players did Grayson lose through no fault of his own ie through disastrous contractual negotiations?

We had a better team in League One, and this is only one person's fault - MR KEN BATES.

Believable5 Unbelievable0

14 Feb 2012 21:46:03
That's it we are the laughing stock of the championship.. All the players should hang there heads in shame, I feel for supporters that travelled there tonight,I have a ticket for sat but after listening tonight I don't know if I can stomach it.

Believable7 Unbelievable0

3 shots on target against a team who have only won 3 games in the last 19 or sumthing, shocking!

Believable7 Unbelievable0

14 Feb 2012 21:45:07
N R out bates out need change and need it now can't even play against bottom of league . only sounded like Mccormack had turned up tonight and then he got taken off . no competition for players in starting 11 to be worried about as they know they have got there place so don't really have to play well.

Believable6 Unbelievable0

14 Feb 2012 21:44:01
Apart from the financial clean slate - Bates has taken us backwards and being honest the only way he managed to sort the finances was to take us into administration. I vowed not to return to Elland Road whilst that person is in charge, and the reluctance to act on sorting a new manager just proves he is taking us all for mugs.

Vote with your backsides, and get Bates out!

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Chief Executive Shaun Harvey feb 1st

Here we are 2 weeks on, 3 games on, and still messing around rudderless, clueless, no ambition, no strategy........ utter utter rubbish

We are now losing to Coventry this is a disgrace the blames needs to be laid firmly at simon Grayson door. He had plenty of time to sort out the defence and who did he want to buy a midfielder. What a joke the team need a proper manager. Poor and not good enough

Larry-haters - bet you're all feeling really clever now. As I said before the sacking - be careful what you wish for.

Believable9 Unbelievable5

Whats that supposed to mean? Larry was just as capable of losing these games!!

Agree6 Disagree4

What it means is that the anti-Larry brigade all seemed to think Bates would appoint some big name manager.

All managers, even Fergie and Jose, will lose games they should win, but Grayson had a good record overall (50% win rate, near enough) and people calling for his head were being pretty shortsighted assuming that we'd get a queue of top managers wanting to work for Bates 'because we're a massive club'. We may like to think that because we're fans - but as I've said here before - OTHERS see us as a mid-table 2nd division team with a half empty ground and no money to spend whose chairman is selling the best players to fund hotels, museums and a Monaco lifestyle. Not much of an incentive for a manager - and I don't believe a word about the queue of 'credible applications' Bates is claiming. Bates thinks 40% of season ticket holders not renewing is somehow good so his judgement can hardly be trusted.

Grayson did a good job against the odds. We won't get better and things may well get very much worse...

Agree5 Disagree3

The latest post is brilliant!

I posted on here the other day that by the end of the year we'd all regret the sacking of Simon Grayson, and very few agreed with me.

Believe me, if we don't bring the right manager in NOW, we're going to be looking at relegation next season.

Sacking Grayson was a backward step and I just hope all those who wanted him out are happy now.

Is it just me that thinks clayton is average, slow, cant pass 10 yards without giving the ball away and very rarely tracks his runners simply not good enough to wear the white shirt league one standard at best and thats been fair to him

Believable9 Unbelievable3

Harsh - Our best player by far first 12 games of the season. Not his fault that the sinking ship is being sold around him...

Agree4 Disagree5

No - you clearly don't go to the games. A bit of bad form right now, probably due to the ludicrous decision to sack Grayson, but he's been our best player this season.

Agree2 Disagree5

Best player, your having a laugh,Snodgrass has been our best player by a street

Agree2 Disagree3

Best players are the fans for putting up with this tripe

Agree1 Disagree0

I can see why people think Snoddy's better - he gets loads of goals & assists. On the downside he often runs into trouble, fails to play the simple pass and gives the ball away a lot which has cost us a good few goals too. Clayton generally passes the ball to a player wearing the same colour shirt and starts the moves for others to finish. He's the nearest we've got to a Bowyer in the team.

Looks like even our better players are losing heart now though - must be depressing playing a decent pass to Becchio only to see the ball bounce 10 yards off his knee or shin to the other team.

14 Feb 2012 20:48:43
As much as it hurts we have to accept we are just here for the ride this season.if it's right that bates has to pay creditors if we go up,then he surely does not want to go up.judging by his decisions this season it appears this is correct.is this true?.surely he wouldnt come out and say this for legal reasons and for money reasons,I mean what's the point of us going if we think even the top man is not bothered if we win.was Grayson a scapegoat?.I'm lost for the truth.redfearn I'm sure will stay till season end, one, because he's the cheap easy option and two,we really have no chance of going up.even if we win at coventry still bit too far behind for me as still be 6 points off play offs if teams win games in hand and we still have players who just couldn't give a toss.I mean why on earth would Townsend give his all and really care when he straight back to tottenham...shrew leeds

Agree3 Disagree2

No they dont!! are you going to tell me its bates fault we are losing tonight all the NR lovers he is crap, need a manager asap

Agree1 Disagree1

So who gave NR the job? Think you'll find it was Bates - and THAT is where the buck stops. BATES OUT.

Agree0 Disagree1

Redfearn is caretaker. to be fair we're in no real danger i'm glad we haven't rushed to appoint the first man out there. hopefully we will get the right man after reviewing everything properly. and there is no wondering whether we should have tried redfearn either. he's not been brave enough for me really.

Least we're solvent under Bates. Look at Scottish champions Rangers. Just entered administration. First time in football history and maybe the only time (?) defending champions go into administration. 10 point deduction for them.

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Bradford park avenue are solvent, and thats where we are heading under the current regime,we have 15m in player sales in last 5 years and spent erm......fk all

Agree2 Disagree1

Yes too right and don't forget Portsmouth about to go into admin again (or just gone). Then think of all those clubs who's players are on large contracts e.g. Leicester and when UEFAs fair play rules come in next season will only be able to spend 60% of earned income on salaries.
Bates might be an annoying B****** but I think he is doing it right. Don't forget we are only 2 years into his 3 year plan to get into the Prem. Increase the income, pay higher salaries, buy better players.

Agree2 Disagree0

You obviously have a very short memory. Leeds entered administration in 2007 and had a ten point deduction. We then failed to exit administration in time and had a further 15 point deduction - 25 points in total.

Who was it that did that? Oh, I remember now, Ken Bates, who then bought the club back, thereby wiping out all the debts to small business, HMRC etc.

Agree3 Disagree1

How the hell can you say he is doing it right,he is assett stripping the club,we will be in league 2 in the next 3 years under his regime, but that will be ok with some fans as we will be solvent...get a grip, the team not the stadium needs some investment

Agree2 Disagree1

14 Feb 2012 16:15:54

Ive heard the guy who designed the GHD hair straightners is a massive Leeds Fan, he is also the MD and founder of OHS one of our main sponsors and is worth Millions - there is a rumour that a consortium involving him Miller and an Australian tycoon who's good friends with Tony Dorigo are planning a buy-out of LUFC this season..

Apparently talks have commenced

Believable4 Unbelievable0

A woman invented the GHD hair straighteners? I played golf once with her husband at a corporate event in Cheshire. Can't recall if he was a Leeds fan or indeed what he did.
The guy who put on the event was as it happens a shareholder in Bolton Wanderers and major sponsor. Last thing I heard of him he had run off to the Phillipines owing about £40m.

Agree0 Disagree2

Actually just done some digging on the above and I may be wrong. It's not the MD of OHS, it's the owner/chairman. Name is Martin Penny. Looked up his pic and he may well have been who I played golf with (looked familiar, but cant honestly be sure). Deffo said his wife had the hair straightener business (it was just taking off at the time) but reading up on him he's saying they were imported from Korea.

Agree0 Disagree0

GHD is based in Leeds and owned by the Jamella Group (itself partly owned by Montagu Private Equity which is based in London). I suppose it's entirely possible that they might be involved as a Leeds-based business, but the Private Equity firm that supports them deals almost exclusively in management buyouts these days.

Agree0 Disagree0

Martin Penny owns the rights to GHD he is the founder of OHS ' occupational health and safety' he is a massive Leeds fan

I can understand all the concern and passion rearding who our next manager will be. Personally, I dont care who he is as long as he is a good tactician and motivator.

his main task will be to sort out our dreadful defence(preferably by shipping out the deadweights) followed closely by introducing our midfielders to our strikers as they never seem to get close enough to each other in games.

He will also need a strong character to tolerate Ken Bates and to ignore his witterings. Whoever it is has to cast a fresh eye not only over the team but the whole set up at ER. Most of the rottenness stems from KB and I am praying fervently that the rumours of a take over are true that hopefully would help our next manager massively.

One sure fact NR isnt up to the job but I still hope he wins the next few games for our sakes. MOT

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Bring Chris Miller to Leeds to sort out the financial issues and employ a decent manager.

Agree8 Disagree1

I'll just be pleased when we can all start posting something positive on here.

Agree1 Disagree0

Since NR as been put in charge the players have kept the ball on the ground more instead of the long ball we played quite well in both games until the nerves kicked in for whatever caused them . it doesn't matter who becomes manager there not going to do more than NR .hes only had 2 games to change us from been weak at the back which is not enough time to change the defence errors

Agree0 Disagree1

We will be in same place if miller only buys 51% of Leeds United as the money he pays bates will go into bates pocket and that money will sit there waiting for the sale of the other 49% when we go up. who will pay for the players? bates wont want to buy anyone and im sure miller wont want to buy every player on his own

Chris Miller was released from the Leeds youth team when he was a 16 year old until his career was ended by a horror challenge. He is Leeds through and through and cannot wait to own the club. Reliable source

Believable9 Unbelievable3

My uncle used to manage leeds youth team back in the 80's and after asking him about all these rumours he said that chris is a leeds lad through and through and the only reason he never played was beacuse a hip dislocation following a horror challenge. MILLER IN BATES OUT!

Just watched the video of us beating scum and then beating bristol to clinch promotion and it has brought a tear to me eye. The players play with so much passion and desire, Beckford, who we knew was leaving, did not stop running for 90 minutes. The fans are amazing, the atmosphere is electric.

Now we're getting 20k crowds where nobody sings, and we have an oversized squad of poor players. Sad times ahead.

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Good but sad post, throw in the minus 15 first seven games and it'll really make you wonder how grayson destroyed that spirit.

Agree3 Disagree3

It was Grayson who got us promoted you idiot. Bates destroyed the spirit by selling our best players or offering crap terms to sign new contracts. Another case of very short memory syndrome - all out in force today.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh yes, and things are so much better now Grayson has gone? You obviously didn't watch a clueless, passionless performance on Saturday. Watch us slip down the table and then tell me grayson was doing a bad job.

3 options bates:

1. big mick
2. neil warnock
3. beg grayson to come home

anything else is unacceptable.

Believable6 Unbelievable3

I have written on here in the past that Ole Gunner Solskjaer is ideal for us as next manager and from the names being thrown about nothing has changed my mind. He is starting out in his career already having won the Norwegian League and has learnt under arguably the greatest manager of modern football both as a player and coach. All the names being thrown in the hat will never set the place alight; lets have someone young who has played and won at the very highest level. At the very least his friendship with Fergie should present us with some good loanees and keep Uncle Ken happy!

Agree3 Disagree1

Couldn't agree more!

Agree0 Disagree0

A great player rarely makes a great manager, the list who tried and failed is endless, and the Norwegian league is not as competitive as ours,we need the best, proven manager that Bates will shell out for,Bruce for example spent millions and failed yet still linked with every vacant job,Leeds fans deserve the best, hope Bates suprises us all in his choice of next manager.
